I recently booked a gel manicure and regular pedicure with Jade at Le's Nails & Spa. I chose black for both my nails and toes, with a gel finish on my hands. To start on a positive note, Jade did a fantastic job on my pedicure and she truly does great nail art. My toes looked amazing. However, I had ongoing issues with my gel manicure. I got my nails done on a Wednesday night, and later that same night the polish started chipping. I initially assumed it was my fault, possibly from prepping dinner. I called the next morning and scheduled an appointment to have them fixed. I went back on Thursday, paid to have them redone, and tipped again -- no problem, because I believed I had caused the issue. Unfortunately, by Friday night, the polish began chipping again and completely popped off several nails. I hadn't done anything strenuous with my hands. I called Saturday morning, and the front desk receptionist informed me that several other customers who chose black had been experiencing the same issue. He advised that I would need to speak directly with Jade to schedule a fix. When Jade returned my call, she repeatedly told me she "couldn't put black polish on my fingers," but never initially mentioned that there had been known issues with the black polish. I only learned that after speaking with the receptionist. She offered me a discount to fix them, but I had already paid twice -- and tipped twice -- under the impression that the problem was something I had done. At that point, I didn't feel I should have to pay again for an issue that clearly wasn't my fault. When I returned to the salon, Jade's attitude felt cold and unapologetic. There was no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, despite the fact that I live 30 minutes away and had already made two extra trips back. I only needed six nails fixed, and it didn't feel like my situation was treated as a priority. In the end, she did fix them without charging me -- which I appreciated, because I would not have paid again. But overall, I left disappointed. If the issue with the black polish had been communicated honestly from the beginning, this entire situation could have been handled very differently. What a wonderful, relaxing pedicure and manicure. The massage chair, steam, warm neck wrap, neck and shoulder massage were amazing. do not recommend. My nails were damaged during acrylic take off in which I paid $15 even though I requested a new service. I requested a gel manicure and the technician suggested gel x instead (probably because of how she damaged my nails). This was not a soak off as expected, it was a rough cracking of the acrylic to take it off. I called the next day and asked to speak with the manager and was told the manager is only there on Fridays. I asked if it was reasonable for a customer to wait almost one week to speak with a manager if there's an issue and was told "yes, there's nothing else we can do." I asked to have the manager call me because I did not think it was fair to wait almost one week. I left my phone number and I have not heard from the manager. Terrible customer service read more

Let me start by saying this is one of the nail shops I frequent in the area. I don't really have issues. I went in for a gel pedicure and to get acrylics on my nails. First-- the price for my nails was unexpected. I ask the tech to lmk the cost before he did things so I was shocked but I paid. My toenails are splitting in 1/2 now. Not just one but three of them. Split right in the middle so I know it's not something I did b/c it's on each foot. The vibe was basic nail salon vibes. I enjoyed the guy who did my nails. He was educated and tried to help me out. I loved my gel French manicure and my regular pedicure. I came in on a Thursday afternoon, it was a bit busy but I was serviced as soon as I checked in. Of course they have my favorite nail polish brand, DND. I got my toes polished in the color popsicle 818. Titi serviced me that day, she was really nice and attentive. She was definitely a perfectionist when it came to my manicure and pedicure. I will come back again. The total price for my service was about $75, typical for most nail salons. This nail salon is located on the other side of Mission BBQ where the mattress store is. Parking is not that easy to come by. Apparently, this place has been here for a while. However, they are having a sale now and giving gifts at the end of your service. When I went, it was packed. I asked how long the wait would be and the lady said 10 minutes. I came in for a gel pedi and dip mani. I ended up waiting for more than an hour. I had an event at 6:30pm. I got there around 2:30. Didn't get into a chair until 3:30pm. A guy didn't get to my chair until 3:45pm. I got the most basic pedicure at this point since I am on a time restraint. He brings with him grapes, oranges, a Vietnamese snack and some chips. I can't eat it because they were soaking my finger nails. The pedi was great! He took great care with feet and polish. An hour later, we move onto my nails. I show him what I want. He preps my nails so that someone else will do the designs. She did an amazing job! My nails too another hour and 15 minutes. At this point I'm going to be late to my party. I tip, pay and finally leave out. Although my nails came out great, it literally took FOREVER! I didn't plan to spend my whole day at the nail shop. I didn't quite care for the pedicure seating. Everything is in one area. So the pedicure seats all face the middle of the shop where everyone is getting the manicures. I didn't care for that. One thing I love about them is that they are awesome with the designs! Other than that, I won't be back. read more

DONT GO HERE!!! got my nails done today half of the colors i wanted were out. and i got a full set of acrylics and they are so uneven. super thick and stubby, uneven, and are so heavy that they're falling downwards and my whole nail isn't even painted. and whatever man did my nails filed them so aggressively that hours later my nails are in pain. (this never happens) there's random bits and pieces of things on my nail too, and there's nail glue all over my hands as shown in the pics. worse nails i've ever gotten. this was my last time giving them my money. i'd rather u spend the extra 10 dollars and go to glow nails where they're actually good at basic nails. read more

Horrible customer service. Horrible customer service. I called and they told me to Jennifer could do my nails. I drive an hour to get there and the receptionist tells me she's going home for today. I said I just called and you told me to come. She said someone else can do your nails. Then they all refused. Now I am not rude, late and I tip everytime. If she didn't want to do my nails just say so. I have been going to this location for year but to make me drive all the way there and the place was not busy. I don't know the woman's name, but she had a poor attitude, provided poor service, and I am not likely to return. The place is beautiful inside, and the other customers seemed to have been happy with their service. The experience started out bad, when she kept trying to upsell me after I clearly stated the service I wanted. She barely used the pumice stone on my feet, didn't help me put my sandals on (which caused me to mess up my polish), and I had to ask her to clean up my toes after she left polish on the underside. She came in with a picture and the tech said ok no problem I can do it... she couldn't.. when my daughter spoke up to say that wasn't what she wanted, the tech said the people that could do the design were not available. Today was last straw for me -- I enjoy going to salon close to home but my last 2 visits haven't been pleasant but painful for me. I was cut significantly the last time which drew blood from my thumb and the nail tech, Mindy never apologized or even said anything until I yelled "ouch, I'm bleeding." Today I gave it another chance and we had the same mishap -- drew blood from my thumb, shaved down my nail so much you could see my skin over the nail & I had to tell her to please shave down my other nails which looked so fat and the polish was way too thick. When I pointed it out to her, she said "your nail is fat," which is definitely not the case. She had the nerve to have an attitude about it and started being rough until I told her about herself. I had a good pedicure here a month ago from a male employee, so I thought it would be safe to go again for a mani pedi pampering. Nope! I can do my nails at home much better than this. I have gel polish and lamps as well as a ton of dip polish. I can do my nails-- but I wanted some pampering. I'm pregnant and really felt like I needed the special treat for my tired feet. In actuality, I just wanted the whole ordeal over as fast as possible. The woman did not attempt to soak off my gel pedicure, and instead used a drill, which was very painful. She cut my toe with the drill and the bleeding did not stop for a long time. The massage was half hearted, even though I asked for extra. When she took off my dip manicure, she also over used the drill, so my fingernails felt like paper. She cut three of my fingers by vigorously filing the sides of my nail. I woke today to discover that the cuts on my hands are infected and in a ton of pain. Beware of this place. My fingers hurt so badly that I can't even type today. read more

I made the mistake of coming here a second time after receiving a great pedicure. My normal nail tech was not in and since we were taking family pictures that evening I let another tech do my pedicure. BIG MISTAKE. The tech tore my ingrown toenails out (literally) and continuously stopped to answer the phone and work on another client even though I had an appointment. The last straw was her using the pumice stone all over my foot including my ankle, which she skinned. I basically cut things short and just asked her to stop. I was still charged full price and honestly I should've said something for having torn out/crooked toenails and skinned ankles. I highly suggest you go elsewhere. Let's talk about Le's Nails & Spa in Gambrills, shall we?!!?!?!!! Ever since I moved here in April I have been hesitant to find a new nail salon in the area bc I loved my nails back in Dunkirk so much! Tried Le's nails for the first time with a full set.... Pretty nails. Started popping off completely after less than a week. I went back a second time last Monday, mind you, having to pay $95 (again!!!) plus tip for a full second set and I was assured that these would last longer bc now I was trying dip which was "harder than regular acrylic." Just SIX EFFING DAYS into my brand new full set, AGAIN nails were popping off. By the 11th day I had five nails completely pop off of my nails beds. Went in today to have them provide me with a fix, asked them to just takeoff the acrylics that were left and paint my nails with gel. When I attempted to leave, because my fix was complete, I was told no actually I had to PAY $35 for a complete gel manicure. Not only did I never ask for a manicure, but I was under the impression that they would be fixing the problem that they caused.... Acrylic nails should not be popping off in under a week. ABSOLUTE ROBBERY. The techs at this place CLEARLY are not trained in properly prepping nails for acrylic to last. They also clearly are not properly trained in customer service! Rude and much too expensive for their CRAP work. Never again!!! 0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

My wife and I went to go get a pedicure here this past weekend. This was my first time getting a pedicure so I didn't really know what to expect. To say I was impressed was an understatement. Titti and Tri were amazing! They provided my wife and I with wine, cookies, and fruit while we were getting our pedicures done. The massage chairs were also super relaxing. So I was excited to try this place because of all the positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience wasn't that great. Starting off with the pedicure , the water couldn't get warm, I choose a callous remover pedicure, it felt rushed and pretty nothing came off, the whole thing was so quick! Then let me not get started on my how they didn't do justice for my nails. I hardly do acrylic but I wanted to because I was going on vacation soon. I show the guy the picture of the design I wanted and he said he can do it with confidence. Lies, it was sloppy, he redid it many times to the point I was frustrated and told him no designs just keep my nails basic. He was also filing my nails so rough and too much I feel like there's going to be damage when i take them off :( At that point I was tired and fed up. I have spent almost 5 hours there with mediocre service. I was disappointed because I thought I was going to come out with pretty nails. Nail salon is super cute and clean. I however did not have a good experience. I got a gel manicure. 7/10 nails started the peel the next day. They were super nice and let me come in to get them fixed. I went in, didn't remember the color, but someone picked something which they thought was it. I told the lady they weren't the same color and she told me "oh but it's so pretty" and "it looks like a design". I hated them. They were done in a rush and looked chunky and bubbly when dry. I told them this and they just kept saying they "looked pretty" and at that point, I went back to them and just told them to take them all off because they were done awfully. I initially began getting my nails done by Jade, but after multiple services of not being satisfied by her work, I chose to go to another nail tech in the salon, who goes by the name of Jennifer. Jennifer is a great nail tech who takes pride in her work and most importantly listens to her customers. Jade is an elderly woman who does mediocre work and does not know how to take feedback. The salon is also not consistent when you make an appointment (1+ hour wait time - with an appointment) The young?/old balding (just cut it off sir) man who works at the front reception could also be a bit more professional and welcoming. Lastly, the owner Jenny remained professional and did try to assist me. For that Jenny, the one star I gave to be able to post this review is for you. read more
