I went in and had a pedicure plus more. I got the $40 pedi, I was reading a book trusting that I would get quality work. I left without expecting my toes. I'm now looking at my toes and half a toenail is missing polish and it's not chipped bc my bare nail also has cured gel top coat on it. Mother's Birthday ruined!!! False advertising, incomplete service packages. Nail paint done be kids and that was just one color. Most of the design post on the instagram couldn't be done when the reel post was advertised 2days before visiting. When questioned about the false advertising the employee proceeded to talk in their own language so know one would understanding. I was charged one price for an incomplete pedicure and overcharged for a single color manicure. Never go here!!!!!! His attention to detail was everything. In other salons when I do dipping the nails look sometimes to thick and unnatural. He really took his time and loving my nails. Why is it so hard to find a nail shop that is consistent with wanting to provide great service for more than just your first couple of visits? When I first came here, I was with Hannah, but then switched to Tina when Hannah tried to get away with doing my nails crooked. I switched to Tina because I was told that she is the best one there & takes her time. Yes, the first time she was very meticulous, took her time, etc. However, this is the second time one of my nails have cracked only a few days of getting them done. I get the SNS dip nails & these are supposed to be better than acrylic. I get my nails done on a Tuesday & by Thursday there is a slight crack on one of my nails & I go back to Tina to fix it on Friday of that same week. One thing about getting a nail repaired here, they NEVER match the original. We all know that they talk about you when you're there. But, when I go back to get my nail repaired, they are looking at me, start speaking their language & just keep looking at me as if to say, "Why is she back?" Tina commences to fix my nail & the end result is HORRIBLE!! I got chrome nails & the repaired nail TOTALLY doesn't match the original nail. The repaired nail is wider than them original coffin nail, it's crooked, the chrome work she did on it is bumpy/has dents AND it's NOT the same rainbow holographic chrome color that the original was. By the time I noticed the color, I told Tina that it is NOT the same number. (I remember the numbers on purpose!) I was so over it that I just wanted her to finish it so I could get out of there! Tina ought to be ashamed of herself on her repair job. These were supposed to be my birthday nails! Regardless, I pay entirely TOO MUCH for: 1. My nails not to last more than a week. 2. Repair jobs to be rushed & not match the original work! Now, I have to find a new nail spot!! read more

While my pedicure was good. My nails were a different story. Completely different. I went in with pictures and a very simple French design. Helen- who did my nails ruined my experience and this wasn't the first time that she did my nails either. I first visited her at the salon behind Wegmans on the other side of the shopping center. First, she didn't listen what I wanted (ballerina shape) despite a lot of ok and no problems and started doing what she wanted (coffin) she half a$$ corrected it when I spoke up and told her that wasn't what I asked for. I showed her the picture with the correct shape and she attempted to lay over where she had cut the nails into a coffin shape. Smh. Now just barely 2 weeks later I have two broken nails and I will not be returning. You can do what you want to when you're paying, not when I'm paying. I even still tipped well for her time- despite feeling mine had been wasted. Their salon materials are subpar. I don't usually get my nails done in this area for this exact reason. I will gladly keep traveling to Cary, NC to @nailsbytran! Even after the drive (time, snacks, and gas) my nails last longer and still cost less as far as money spent and value. False advertising! I show the reception a picture/ reel of the design I was looking to get. It was my first time coming to this nail salon. Read the reviews saw the designs posted on IG and decided to give them a try. So disappointed and should've known it wasn't gonna be good when they had me playing musical chairs. They sat me at a station, asked me to provide them with the picture of what I wanted again. They introduced me to one nail tech, get me situated and leave me there. She comes back to her station, asked me to move to a different one which I was okay with. The new tech proceeds to glue on the acrylic nails and then get called to assist another tech. Sat there for another 5-10 minutes, she comes back and has me sit at another station again. I show them the design and asked before hand AGAIN if they would be able to do that design. Did t give me a yes or no answer and proceeded to talk amongst themselves. After all that they finally get to the point of trying to recreate the design posted on their IG . It looked nothing like the one in the picture. They tried it again on another nail and it was just not working out. I showed them another design and they told me they didn't have the material for it. Here comes another design also on their IG and that also didn't work out. I ended up just telling them to do a solid color. This is not what I wanted or expected for what was paid. read more

Except for the price and how long it took to get my nails done, I like this place. I got gel mani-pedi and it took 1.5 hours for one lady to do it. I'm use to two people (one for hands and one for toes) so I was surprised that only one lady was doing it when it was kind of close to closing time. The facial was more of a cleanse with a mask, and left me with breakouts. My mom got a massage and a pedicure. The massage was not good because they didn't actually deeply massage your muscles, they just put their hands on her neck and did massaging motions. The owner was rude and condescending. She doesn't treat her employees well and did not allow me to get a callus removal, the service I came there initially for. She said that it had to be part of a pedicure and that I couldn't get it on its own. Overall, horrible service from the manager, the facial was a waste of money, and the entire place is poorly run. I had a gel manicure and pedicure (callous/sugar scrub I think) today. I had a 9am appointment and there was only one other customer. Very clean, quiet and the chairs and other work areas looked great and in good condition. Kim did my services and was lovely. Communicative but also let me listen to my podcast and sip coffee lol. I had a gift certificate that was sitting in my wallet forever - no issues in using it. I don't know how they are with anything more complicated, but my simple services were great. read more

Today was my second attempt at giving this salon a try.... Bad idea! The four week old pedicure I walked in with looked better than what I paid $65 for, yes $65 (gel polish removal, signature pedi w/ gel polish). My usual salon was closed today and since I had family in town we wanted to have a girls day together and get pedis. I went here because it looks nice and it's clean. That's all it has to offer, well they are friendly, but the techs I've gotten don't seem to know how to do gel polish or a pedicure for that matter, plus they rush through the job. My cousin was done with her basic pedi and polish before I put my feet in the water, I'm not kidding. I was going to get the basic for $31, but that doesn't include foot scrub aka callus removal, so I went up to the signature ($10 more) only for her to use what other salons include in their basic pedicures. I have four coats, yes FOUR coats of bumpy polish on my toes. When I noticed a flaw in the first coat, their solution was to pile more polish on despite me asking to remove it. I knew it was a bad polish job, but their lighting is horrible in there so I didnt know how bad until I got home.... my 9 year old niece could have done a better job.... no exaggeration. Do yourself a favor a don't pass on the less fancy looking salons because this one is sparkly, everything that glitters isn't gold. read more

I would NOT recommend the Saleya Salon in Crofton, MD for the following reasons: 1. I made an appt with LyLy for a Classic manicure that includes Classic Manicure Shape, Cuticle Trim, Sugar Scrub, Massage with Hot Towel. When I got there she was running behind, which was ok at first. Then they were questioning me about who I had an appointment with, even after I had checked in, and I told them Lyly who was standing in front of me not saying anything. I also said can't you check your system and asked are you Lyly? She said yes. They (two young men at the counter) then told me she had another appointment at this time. I ask how does that happened when I booked an appointment for this time. They said they can give me another technician, so I said yes. 2. I then had a technician named Hannah ( an older lady). I told her I wanted square with soft edges/corner. I noticed she was NOT giving me the shape I requested so I pulled out a picture and told her this is what I want and took the nail file to FIX my damn nails. She then asked if I wanted tips. I was floored by then and said you don't know how to do this? This is a basic shape - square with round edges. She had this puzzled look as LyLy was standing next to her freed up because she was finished with her appointment. Who by the way had the shape I was asking about. But then the manager said they both do the nails the same way. However, Lyly's appointment was next to me and I saw she had short square nails with soft edges. So I said you are technicians and you don't know how to do this basic shape?!! So the two men offered another person. 3. Sky, a young male ended up doing my nails. He took his time. However, it was now about 1.5 hours later for what was to be only a :30 minute manicure. I even told him that Hannah didn't even trim my cuticles like the Option I had selected included. Long story short, he took his time and did a wonderful job. However, even though he gave me his card and number to call for him next time, I don't think I will return. Hannah and Lyly are lazy and not true technicians. I should have NEVER had to go through three technicians for something simple and those two techs need to go back to school to learn the basics. read more

Got a callus pedicure here the other day, didn't notice til i got home that she didn't fully paint some of my nails, had to go by more polish myself to fill the rest in smh, also dug super deep into the big toe nails around the edges that's now causing pain when i walk around even barefoot. not sure if i just came on an off day or what but the salon was nice so hence the 2 stars. read more

Never again. Tried this place again after quite a while. Both my daughters and my pedicure were not great. My daughters cut her to bleeding when cutting her cuticles. Mine pushed my cuticles without cuticle remover. No oils, nothing. Cut my nails way too short so it hurt when he was filing, but they were all jaggedy, I had to let him file my skin too. The paint should have been taken off of my skin, but he didn't even bother. Burned me with the towels, water was cold. Just a mess. I'm just going to remove when I get home. I used to come here all the time-- probably once every other month-- for a pedicure, but lately the service and work has gone downhill. I typically get a signature pedicure ($40), which is a step up from the basic. Sometimes they perform the callus removal that comes with it, other times they don't. It specifically says it in the description, so why is it not performed consistently? Plus, I'm paying for it! Wtf!? Today, the lady next to me asked for the same exact service (signature pedicure). Her technician did the callus removal, mine did not. She was offered a complimentary bottle of water, I was not. Here's the thing that really irked me today-- my pants are soaking wet at the bottom! I had them rolled up past my knee and she managed to soak at least 4 inches of the bottom of my pants. The guy technician next to me actually laughed! Um, okay awesome... Now I get to run errands looking like an idiot. I really wanted a design on my big toe, but could not trust that I would be happy with the outcome. Oh, and there is clear topcoat and nail polish all around the edges of my skin. Uggggghhhhhhhh! Overall, my relaxing morning has turned into an annoying one. :( read more

I have come here twice and I'm sorry to say I've been dissatisfied each time. First visit I got a vibrant pink color for the summer and when she finished the second coat, I could see spots in my gel manicure from where the polish wasn't covering my nail properly. When I told the tech to she grabbed a manager who told me that the nail tech said I had black nails and suggested next time I choose a darker color. Ummm, come again?? I told her that I have worn light colored polish all of my life, including white, and I do not have "black nails". Now I don't know if this was her broken English way of saying that women of color can't wear light nail polish or if she was literally claiming I had a black nails like a dog. Either suggestion is equally absurd. I have very thin, delicate, clear nails. When I told her that I don't have "black nails" and that I have worn colors much lighter than that my entire life, she just kept repeating herself and I was short on time so I just let it go. Now if this wasn't ridiculous enough, the nail tech also charged me an extra $20 for a gel pedicure that I didn't get. She asked me about four times to get one and I declined but she just went ahead and charged me anyway which I didn't realize until I got home... and yes, I had given her a 10% tip. Now this visit yesterday seemed to be go much better and I got a pail pink (much lighter than the last time). I was so happy not to have spots from my so-called "black nail" that I tipped $14. However, when I got in the car, I realized that all of my polish looked lumpy. My husband says it won't be easily noticeable but admitted that sitting beside me, he could in fact see the lumps. Overnight, it seems to look a little better than before so I'll just deal with it but I will not be returning again. When I looked online, it said these issues indicate that polish is old, applied too thick, there was poor or inadequate nail prep, or the use of old or inadequate UV light. Two techs couldn't get my gel manicure right, I was insulted, and overcharged. Clearly, I just need to go somewhere else where they know how to do gel manicures. To end it on a positive, receptionist is very friendly, it is a clean and beautiful atmosphere and the wait times have been very short (under five minutes) on both trips. Everyone was pleasant however it seems as if no one knows what they are doing. I asked for a pedicure and gel manicure. Pedicure was basic even though I requested the signature. A hot towel doesn't equate to "spa". The chair I was sitting Was broken so the massage part was just sitting in my back like a fist. Toe polish is decent but this is after I asked could she clean it up so I don't look like I was kneading dough with my feet. The lady who did my pedicure didn't even tell me she doesn't do gel so someone else has to do my manicure. I'm like ok no problem. New lady cleaned my nails up (cuticle etc) like I wished the other lady did with my feet. We get to the polish part and its bad. Shes painting her fingers and saying something must be wrong with the polish. I let her continue and now my fingers looks like I've been playing in some type of powder. I asked if she could clean it up and she said it fails off. Now ma'am! At this point I was over it and ready to go. I go to pay and learn I was charged $5 for taking off gel polish. This has been my go to salon for my pedicures since everything opened back up after Covid initially, and for the most part they are ok. They have a nice amount of color options and do decent work. I have had to ask a few times for them to fix things while getting my pedi and ask them to use new tools (file, buffer, toe separator and flip flops) so that can be a bit frustrating. What is really making me give them 1 star and i wish i could give none is yesterday i went to get my usual pedicure. I had to use the restroom before getting my service, so once i did that i was told which place to sit at. I also had my baby with me. The lady Jessica came over asked me what color i wanted so i assumed she was going to start my service. After about 10 minutes and my water getting cold, i decided i didn't want to wait and grabbed my things and my child and started to leave. Of course at this point Jessica comes from out of no where trying to get me to sit back down and i told her no i didn't want to wait and was ready to go. She follows me to the front continuously begging me to come sit back down. I keep refusing. I then EXIT the salon, and Jessica has followed me out of the store STILL begging me to come back inside. I keep telling her no and at this point I'm telling her to leave me alone because I have left the store so she shouldn't even be talking to me. As I am putting my child in the car, Jessica pins herself i between my open door which I'm standing in and the sidewalk so i couldn't move. At this point I'm yelling at her to get away from me because she is invading my space and harassing me. She finally backs off and goes back inside. I go back inside of course upset and I'm telling the receptionist i want to speak to the manager and of course Jessica is the manager. Her stance was she was trying to apologize and tell me she was on her lunch break and that she thought someone else was going to do my pedi. Once someone leaves your place of business you should never follow them, especially when the customer has done nothing wrong. I will never go back here again in my life! read more
