They are concerned about each client ensuring that there is no cross contamination - practically everything is disposable (single use) with the exception the nail clippers of which is sterilized. Let me tell you, I did not think a waterless manicure and pedicure would not work for my rough draft skin, but I was absolutely wrong! My skin has never felt so soft and supple after ANY Mani Pedi... EVER! It had to have been her amazing scrubs and the fact that she did not cut my cuticles or shave layers and layers of my skin off with what I call the cheese grater. I can't stop rubbing my hands and feet together - they are so soft. Ms Kathy's nail studio is a nice relaxing environment. With nice vibes playing throughout. Kathy's has a vibrant personality that definitely draws you in. Although I just met her today, it seems like we were old friends. I could've chatted with her forever or until she kicked me out. Before we even started my fill, I specifically asked Bi if there was enough time to do a design, and he told me yes. I had just come from the hospital and simply wanted to treat myself, feel pretty, and try something new with my nails. During the appointment, however, I was made to feel like an inconvenience because he was running into his next appointment. Ironically, I also had to wait when I arrived, so I was surprised to be treated as though I was responsible for the schedule running behind. What upset me the most was Bi telling me that I should have Tina do my nails next time. After years of coming to him, that comment felt unnecessary, dismissive, and disrespectful. If there was not enough time for the design, I would have appreciated him telling me upfront instead of agreeing to it and then making me feel guilty. To make matters worse, Bi began speaking to his coworkers in his native language while looking at me, and it gave me the clear impression that he was talking about me. Whether or not that was the case, it made me feel uncomfortable, singled out, and disrespected. Professionalism means addressing concerns directly with the customer, not creating an environment where they feel they are being discussed. The unfortunate part is that Bi actually did an amazing job on my nails. However, instead of remembering the quality of his work, I will remember how unwelcome and disrespected I felt during the appointment. Customer service matters just as much as technical skill. After this experience, I will not be returning to Capella Nails. I hope Bi and management reflect on this interaction so other loyal customers are not made to feel the same way.

My nail tech, Lupe, is the absolute sweetest. We always catch up and laugh ("keke") whenever I'm in her chair, and she's the only person I trust with my feet. Seriously... nobody does my pedicures like Lupe. They recently moved into a new building, and it's beautiful. They're still putting the finishing touches on the renovations, but it's already a huge upgrade. One thing I especially love is that they have private service areas for clients like me who prefer a quieter, more relaxing experience instead of sitting in the middle of a crowded salon. This is my definition of self-care: sinking into one of their plush massage chairs, sipping on a mimosa, enjoying a piece of chocolate, and letting Lupe work her magic. Yes, they're a little pricier than some of the competition, but you get what you pay for. I was at another salon recently for over four hours and wasn't even offered a bottle of water. They always make me feel like family in the best way, and every visit is welcoming, professional, and consistent. I typically book appointments in advance because they are almost always busy, which speaks to how much people love this salon. The entire place is very well run, and you can clearly see the value they place on customer service, quality, and the overall experience. You truly can't go wrong with any of the nail technicians. Most recently, I had a pedicure with Timmy, and he was outstanding. His massage, scrub, and lotion treatment were so relaxing. He took his time, paid attention to every detail, and made the experience feel like a true self-care moment. My usual service is Gel-X with gel polish, along with a pedicure w/callus treatment and scrub. The quality is always excellent, and I consistently leave happy with my nails and feeling refreshed.
