I love going to my local farmers markets. I came across Le Saint Honored at my market. I'm always skeptical because I've had so many dry and just not great pastries. So i usually buy one to three different items and taste test them with my family to try and see how they are. I haven't had one bad croissant or pastry. They are never dry!! I love the flavors! My first purchase was the pistachio croissant. It was so delicious and in the middle I had a nice surprise with their amazing pistachio custard filling. One of my favorites!! I also tried the cream cheese jalapeño croissant that was very tasty with a kick. Also very good. Normally I'm not a berry fruit tart person but i decided to try some because i knew my family would enjoy them. I have tried the blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, lemon, apple, and chocolate. They are all very good! The custard under the fruit is my favorite part. The fruit custard pastries are presented beautifully. When I know I am going to have guests I love to go to the farmers market and get an assortment. I had a girls night recently and made a really beautiful fall charcuterie board. I made sure to put the fruit pastries around for a dessert. All my guests loved them. Most of them cut them in half so they could sample and share more than one flavor. I highly recommend trying this place! For someone who is very picky with pastries, these are so fresh, never dry, and very tasty!

Yes, their pastries put me in a happy place!!

Always my special treat when I go to the Mt. SAC farmers market on Saturday mornings. This weekend I was this first customer and was thrilled to see the piles of beautiful, tasty pastries that I love. Their kouign ammans are a little different now with sugar sprinkles in top but I liked it, they also have pretty chocolate circles with their logo imprinted on them on top of some of their chocolate pastries. I finally tried some of their savory croissants and they were great! I warmed them up in the toaster oven at 350 for a couple minutes before eating and it melts them so much better. The jalapeño cheese croissant is chock full of jalapeños so you are getting a nice kick in every bite. The ham and cheese has Everything but the bagel seasoning on top and my son enjoyed it.

$7 for a croissant at a farmers market and it definitely wasn't good. This was at Tustin farmers market.

Wow wow wow! What a hidden gem! We came across Le Saint Honore when we visited the Saturday farmers market at Mt.San Antonio college. They sell fresh french pastries and everything was soooooo tasty and fresh! The Ham and bacon quiche was definitely at hit at our house. It was soft, creamy, and they were soooo generous with the ham and bacon!! Definitely will be coming back here.

Got croissants to share- we figured we'd split the ham and cheese and pistachio so we'd have the best of both the sweet and savory worlds. We cut them in half down the middle. The ham and cheese only had ham on one side- the other half was basically plain and the pistachio filling had some sort of gross bright green dye, I didn't even bother trying it it looked so fake...my friend tried it and didn't care for it. It's unfortunate because they looked tasty as you can see from the pics! We did take a baguette home and at least that didn't disappoint.

Went to their Farmers Market Lakewood booth. No pix of the kouign amann because I literally devoured it. So good!! Buttery and the right amount of sweetness, perfect soft texture slight pastry crunch on the outside. Can't wait to eat the other items we purchased. Repeat visit for sure !

Food this place at the Upland street market on 2nd while going to BeachBum clinic...so after my session. Immediately went to this place and bought some desserts and pastries. I bought the croissant with pistachios, croissant danish with chocolate custard, fruit croissant, chocolate tart and the raspberry tart. Everything was delicious and it was not that sweet. Although the price is a little bit pricey but worth a try and taste. Come and visit the place and review it yourself. Loving it and it's closer than going to Dana point or Long Beach.

I went to the Porter Ranch Farmer's Market for the first time last week and thought this booth had the prettiest display of all the booths. There was another bakery booth at the market but the guy there was rude to me so I walked away and bought several items from this pleasant young lady from Le Saint Honore Bakery instead. The treats were delicious!

    Unbaked Nutella Croissant

It should be illegal to call these Croissants. I purchased 4 flavored croissants from Brentwood farmers market and threw them away. So disappointing. The Nutella croissants were not fully baked inside. The Pistachio one had a chemical taste and the green paste inside looked like slime. There are numerous bakeries at the farmers market, I will make sure I don't get tricked into buying from this one ever again.

This time (yesterday), however, was not nearly the same experience. First of all, I realized we couldn't book a table for 8 people, so me and my friends book 2 tables for 8.30PM. I called asking if it's possible to put our tables together close or side by side, they said they will try their best. We all showed up at 8.30 and waited until around 9-9.15 because they only had 1 table ready. Ok. Come the time the other table opened and it's not even that close to each other. But it's okay, I respect the limitations on this part. No one came to us to take our order or even give us water until way later, and we got our drinks at 9.45. Another critique is that my friend called and ask how much corkage fee and they said $25. It turned out to be $40. Another disappointment, but it's ok. Not much can be done bout that part. Next thing is the food. We enjoyed the fried green beans. Crudo was really really salty, and it's not only 1 person thought that. We wondered if the kitchen mistakenly salted the fish twice. We enjoyed the peach salad. We ordered a few different pasta and the tagliatelle in particular was disappointing. It really lacked flavor that we had to mix the other pasta dish sauce to it. The pork plate was good, a bit small but we enjoyed it. Now the mussles and frites were disappointing too. The sauce just didn't do it for me (other friends agreed). I always talked really highly about Nonna Mercato (I also enjoyed the brunch so much) and always told people that this is one of my most favorite restaurants in Long Beach, but this one really missed the mark for me and my friends. I don't know if this would make us want to go to Summer Nights again next time. For $130 per person (after tax, tip, and corkage fees), I definitely hoped for a much better experience.

Our favorite is the chocolate concha. It is crisp, fresh, and has the slightest sourdough flavor. I tried the dona one time and while it was great. It was just too much for me. Literally, we had to bring it home. I would suggest splitting this because of its size and it has a lot of almond and jam so it's hefty. I also tried their jamon which was sooooo good. I would get this again. For drinks we have tried their Atole, Dulce de Leche and Horchata with Cold Brew. My new favorite is the Horchata. It is so well complimented by the cold brew and it's so smooth and not too sweet. My husband also liked the taste he tried but he went with my now second favorite the Dulce de Leche. What I love about this place is that everything is balanced. Its not too much of anything just perfect. The concha isn't too sweet. It's balanced by the sourdough which is complex. The coffees which anywhere else would be a sugar bomb are just right. The sugar highlights the brilliance of whatever it is paired with whether that is bread or coffee.

Their bread and pastries are always good quality and very nostalgic. Even though I'm not a Filipino, the flavor of their goodies are very similar to where I'm from.
