The consistency of their cheesecakes is rich but also light. They are lighter than say the ones from Cheesecake Factory. They melt in your mouth with each bite. The crusts are excellent. The slices are of a good portion and a great price that you pay for them. They usually sell out of the more popular flavors later in the day than in the morning when they first open. Service is friendly and the staff are able to answer any questions you have. They also make more cheesecake on the weekend so they have more available then. The Hubbie and I had just had dinner and decided to walk it off with a stroll around Lakewood Mall. We walked past Doll Babee Cheesecake not once, not twice, but three times. We made excuses like, we should have gotten dessert at the restaurant. We're going to Costco tomorrow we can get a huge cheesecake then. But . . . the 3rd time the Hubbie says "Screw it! I'm going in!" The shop was cute and clean. The man behind the counter was friendly, made us feel genuinely welcome and excited to see us. The Hubs chose Strawberry Peach (The man behind the counter took pride in that it was his dad's specialty). I picked Lemon Drop. The consistency of the cake was decadent. Lighter than the typical cheesecake you get at high end restaurants, which seem a little denser. This cheesecake's consistency was more like whipped mousse. You won't need to chew because it melts in your mouth. The Lemon Drop had that perfectly playful sweet to sour ratio that gives you the funny tinge in your jaw. Hubs and I traded bites. The Strawberry Peach reminded me of Thrifty ice cream xx decades ago when two scoops were 10 cents. Creamy and sinful. The slice was topped with fresh strawberries and chopped peaches. Costco can't compete on this level. Flavor, artisanal, and fresh! No contest. Plus there had to be at least 8 different flavors on hand to choose from. Take one slice home and it's enough to split with your sweetie. I haven't checked their website yet but thinking about ordering a whole pie for next family potluck. This is a tale away spot but there are plenty of seats with tables and free parking at the mall. This cheesecake hit the spot. My kids have been dying to try this place, even though they were lost in the mall trying to find it lol we called and I think the gentleman Mark was the one who helped them find it, believe it or not they were lost for 50 min but were insistent on trying this place out! I've written so many reviews for Doll Babee Cheesecakes now, but I feel that they deserve another update since I still continue to come back to this place for their cheesecake and friendly vibes. I noticed that they started bringing back Flavor of the Day so it's fun to see what special flavors they have going on. However, special flavor or not, I always find myself with their Peach Cobbler, Lemon Drop, and Original as those are my favorites. Creamy, decadent, and delicious is what their cheesecakes are all about. Prices range between $8 -$9 and although it seems pricey, one slice is definitely enough to feed two people. This is by far the best cheesecake I have ever had. I was hearing rave reviews about this place and decided to try it. I stuck with the original recipe cheesecake and it was outstanding. Very creamy with unbelievable amount of taste. I came at 7pm and most of the items were sold out. Customer service was wonderful, i think the person who helped me was driza? She was very sweet and smiley and helpful showing me around the case. I will definitely support this place and try different items! i'm sure all the items are great! We love their cheesecakes, slice sizes are a bit larger than Cheesecake Factory, cost less and are 1,000 times better quality. They are homemade, so not every single slice is going to come out the same like at cheesecake factory and other places where they are mass produced, but that's part of what makes them better.
