Le Visage is an amazing hidden gem in the Financial District! I won gift cards for a facial and a massage in a raffle and I'm so glad that allowed me to discover my new favorite spa!! Beatrice gave me a fabulous facial and it was one of the best I've ever had!! She tailored the facial to my skin type and needs and it was equal parts therapeutic and relaxing, she even made extractions relatively pain-free. In addition to multiple cleanses, exfoliation, a facial massage, mask and final treatments, this facial experience included an awesome foot massage AND a shoulder, neck and scalp massage - to die for!!! The products she used all felt and smelled fantastic, and the spa atmosphere was so quiet, cozy and comfortable, even just laying there for an hour would have been a treat. Beatrice was a joy to chat with, icing on the cake! Plus, she talked about some other services and products that could be good for my skin needs, but never did a hard sell, which I so appreciated, compared to other spas that make you feel like a failure if you don't book your next appointment and buy $200 worth of product on the spot. Anne-Cecile is a true gift in the middle of the financial district. The quality and skill of her services are unparaleled. She truly cares about the well being and relaxation of her clients. I have been a customer for several years and I have never seen the quality of the services slip. I'm such a huge vocal fan that now all the women in my family are customers at the Spa. I also love how she has decorated the spa - a little serene hide away convenient stressed financial district dwellers and the staff she has hired is across the board helpful, welcoming and deserving of 5 stars. I went to Le Visage for my first visit yesterday. I work nearby and had no idea there was such an awesome spa so close by. The ambience is great - it was so peaceful and tranquil as soon as I stepped off the elevator. I had an 80-min Beau Visage facial with Ashli and it was absolutely the BEST facial I've ever had. One thing that really put this facial above any of the others I've had in the past was the spectacular arm/hand and calf/foot massages she gave me while I had the mask on my face. All the places I've been before will do the face/shoulder massage during the facial, but typically the aesthetician steps out for a couple of minutes after the mask is applied or while the steam treatment is taking place, so having this "extra" made the experience in my opinion. I started going to Beatrice in 2010 when I worked right near the spa and a colleague highly recommended her. Now, it is 6 years later, and I'm still seeing her every several weeks for services and will not go anywhere else. I even now work out of the city but make it a point to book ahead so I can still get an appointment with her. Before meeting Beatrice, I was afraid to get a facial and thought my skin was too sensitive. She has completely changed my outlook on this and I trust her 100%. I have been to Le Visage twice, once for a back facial and one time for a face procedure. Both times I had a wonderful experience. The owner, Anne-Cecile, is absolutely delightful and you can tell she is passionate about her craft and really knows what she is doing. The whole environment at the spa is very quiet and calming, with soothing sounds of birds chirping and nice music. Every person with whom I have interacted there has been very nice, which makes every visit something to look that much more forward to. A friend of mine got a full body massage there and has been raving about it ever since, so that is definitely the next thing I'm going to treat myself to. I recently had my last appointment. Just make sure you enter the right entrance when you go! The spa is now completely located downstairs. The Le Visage sign is on the door to the left of the hair salon, you can't miss it. It's still 125 broad street. Just a different entrance. So you don't have to enter through the hair salon anymore. Take the elevator down to the wonderful ladies at the front desk! Wait until you see it! It's like an oasis down there... You enter another world for a break from this one. Love this spa! All the estheticians and the massage therapist are the friendliest/warm people! I every time I leave, I can't wait for my next visit. I purchased the Glow and Go Peel on Gilt and was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the spa was. It is in the middle of the Financial District, yet so quiet and peaceful. Everything is decorated perfectly too! Ashli was my esthetician for the service and she was extremely professional. She was also very knowledgeable and able to help out with questions I had on my skin care regime. I was expecting the peel to burn (as I have heard in the past), but it was light tingling sensation - not burning at all. She also did a leg massage, extractions, and head massage. It's been 4 days since I had the peel and my skin is starting to flake, but that's obviously what was supposed to happen. I said it before in my previous review, Le Visage is amazing! I saw Dennis, their massage therapist, on my most recent visit, and I am in love! I have been looking for a new massage therapist after my preferred one moved to Colorado, and it had been a struggle! It is a very subjective field, and finding the right person for you is the absolute key. Dennis, I must say, has made me the happiest I have been with a massage therapist in forever. He worked out so much tension that I had, I felt I was floating off into a dream world. If I could have more than 80 minutes with him, I definitely would. Thusfar I've been to see Anne-Cecile for a facial, eye-lash tint and Lash lift. Words can't describe how satisfied I am with all the services. Anne-Cecile tailored the facial to my very sensitive post-medication skin and my face was radiant. Now, for the Lash lift and eyelash tint. Oh my goodness. The lash lift adds a curl to your lashes that last and lasts. Anne-Cecile is extremely gentle in the process and makes you feel very relaxed. I really regret not taking before and after pictures, I look like I have face eyelashes. I don't feel the need to wear any mascara. I'm in my 4th week and they haven't really fallen. I've had a couple bikini waxes at Le Visage, both done by Maria. She was really receptive to my needs. I'm pretty sensitive, and I've found that the best thing for me is to utilize a breathing technique to get through the wax. She totally understood and communicated well with when to breathe, and I'm so grateful for that. Not only that, but ingrown hairs are not as common, and the wax lasted longer. From what I understand the wax has some chamomile in it that has a soothing quality to the skin. It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. Quality. I came here for an extraction facial after my dermatologist recommended Anne-Cecile. I've been taking medication for acne for the past year, it's now under control, and I just wanted to remove some stubborn black heads and milia. I had a very pleasant experience, Anne-Cécile is very knowledgeable on skincare and she has very gentle hands. She was very professional and she talked me through various products and habits that I can adopt to deal with hyper-pigmentation and make my skin smoother. Today was my first time at Le Visage. I had a facial and eyebrow wax with Ashli, and she was fantastic. I have milia and oily skin and I count on a facial to get my skin glowing and to clean it out. I left Le Visage with that glowing skin I was looking for! Ashli was not afraid to appropriately extract and exfoliate. My family and I were visiting Boston for vacation. I am pregnant in my second trimester and have been experiencing SI joint pain. After a few days of sight seeing the pain continuously got worse. Le Visage is the best spa around. Anne-Cecile Curot is an actual genius. I'm 34 years old and my skin looks better now than it did 10 years ago. She's also a such joy to spend an hour with.
