Vina did an excellent job on my pedicure and on replacing two broken nail tips. The pedicure itself was reasonably priced, and I was very happy with the quality of her work. Unfortunately, my experience at checkout left a very different impression. I was initially charged $53 for two replacement nail tips, which seemed extraordinarily high. When I questioned the charge, it was reduced to $43, but I still found that excessive for such a minor service. This was my first visit, and while I appreciated Vina's work, the pricing for the nail repairs felt unreasonable and left me feeling taken advantage of. I would strongly recommend confirming the cost of any add-on services before they are performed. For what I paid for two replacement tips, I could have gone to my regular salon and received a full manicure. Great technician, but disappointing and unexpected pricing. Buyer beware. read more

What a disappointing experience. The front desk ladies are so kind and welcoming, so I was really looking forward to my manicure to celebrate finishing college. The technician was very thorough and it looked great...for about half a day. It began chipping away the same day, and maybe that's because I didn't get a gel manicure? I am not even remotely familiar with nail jargon, but I followed all the instructions from the technician and made sure to let them dry. Decently priced, but I'll spend $30 somewhere else. It's really unfortunate, because I believed MiniLuxe had such good potential and I was always intrigued whenever I walked past, but now I need a manicure that'll last more than three days so I am ready for college graduation. :( read more

ZERO STARS. I want my money back. $200 for nails is absolutely insane, especially for this quality. This was my first time at this location, so I expected some differences in pricing, but this place is a complete rip-off. The manager, while nice enough, was extremely confusing and somehow talked me into the worst mani-pedi I've ever had. I only came because my boyfriend had a work deal where a deluxe treatment was supposed to be the price of a regular one, total scam. I was charged $55 for a gel manicure that was completely subpar: sloppy polish all over my fingers, uneven application, and the polish doesn't even cover the full nail. Then $70 for a pedicure that was just as unimpressive. To make it worse, the manager told me there was 40% off the entire store, which encouraged me to purchase additional items, only to find out at checkout that I was charged full price because she "forgot" to apply the discount. The entire experience was confusing and frustrating. Only one technician did both my manicure and pedicure, it took almost two hours, and despite all of this, I still left a 20% tip. My total came to $178 for genuinely subpar service. Do not come here. Go literally anywhere else for cheaper prices and much better results. This place is not worth your time or money read more

Got my nails done January 21st 2026 a $90 builder gel set. My nail was cracked and chipped by the next day, so I went and got it fixed. They sent me a $20 off discount after my first appointment(directly after not after I called for the fix!) so I decided to give them another chance and get a refill when they are ready. I go and get my refill Thursday February 26th 2026 and by Sunday 3 of my nails chipped and cracked AGAIN! I call Monday to schedule an appointment for a fix for today Tuesday March 3rd at 11:00am I get there at 11:00 and they have me sitting there for almost 20 minutes. I kindly get up and ask to reschedule because I was on break at work but realized I should be paying $90 for a manicure and they barely last a week. I called them and asked to come in and get them completely removed and be refunded. Front desk clerk tells me they don't do refunds then after I ask her to ask her boss she tells me because I've already been refunded in the past I can't get another one. I thought they didn't do refunds? I've never been refunded I was me giving them a second chance. They have the worst customer service and I asked them if they took just card or cash as well. They told me cash but didn't have any change I tipped $20 on a $70 (discounted) manicure which was originally supposed to be a $15 tip which is 20%. They had me waiting another 20 minutes while they tried to find change. I've been to a few MiniLuxe's - went here for a waxing as Prudential Center was fully booked - this is a #neveragain location, for sure. I had someone named Skye, who clearly doesn't have a lot of experience waxing: most of the hair was pulled off the surface (not from the root), and some of the areas were more painful than it needed to be due to Skye not following any sort of typical 'best practices' when waxing (e.g., pull the skin taut before you pull off hard wax, etc.). My hair grew back within 2 days from the top of the skin, as it wasn't pulled out from the root. Fellow hairy girls: you know the deal! You gotta rip that hair out from the root! Beyond Skye's terrible technique, the vibe in there was just...depressing. The woman at the front desk was pretty morose, the clients were primarily older white ladies (nothing against white folks, just commenting...it's a vibe). One had a dog and just sat it in the middle of the waiting room, so we all had to walk around them. I wouldn't care about ANY of this if Skye had any talent, but I mention it to round out the fuller picture of the experience. Overall, you won't actually get waxed (just the surface of the hair removed), there is no parking, if there's a Red Sox game, you won't even be able to walk in that area, and the depressed staff and vibe leads me to: DON'T GO! read more

So this was my first time at MiniLuxe and I was skeptical of them doing a good job because I'm use to going to the neighborhood nail salons but I needed a pedicure immediately before my trip to L.A. I reluctantly made the appointment at 3:30pm for 3:35pm, I was parked right outside and was taken within 5min of getting there keep in mind this is a Wednesday. The young lady checking me in was pleasant professional and my technician Laura was great. I told her it's been a while like 6months since I had a pedicure so my feet look like monsters lol. She told me not to worry also I explained I had a possible callus on the side of my left big toe and it was hurting a little. When she got to it she explained to me what it was and was gentle even told me what to do to get rid of it. She took her and did a great job even helped me pick my polish because I'm indecisive. Took my daughter for a teenyluxe pedicure and I got classic pedicure. The services were fine, but the pricing was misleading. After I paid, I noticed that I was charged $69 for the pedicure. The site lists $60 for the price with performance polish. When I asked why an addition $9 was charged, I was told that I had a senior technician because I had agreed to any nail technician available. But, I looked at the site again, and I am not given a choice on what level technician I can receive services from. This is misleading to say the least. I've been here twice, once for a free Yelp event, and a second time because I had a coupon for a free manicure if you get a pedicure. I'll be honest up front, while they do a great job, I wouldn't go here if I had to pay full price. It's a beautiful, clean space, and the technicians are friendly and competent. This is probably partially because they apparently pay their workers a livable wage and offer benefits which is awesome and rare for the service industry. More businesses like this! MiniLuxe as a brand prioritizes cleanliness, and in my experience they definitely delivered. They make a point of not using pedicure basins with jets because you can never completely sanitize those. I'm not a germaphobe so that's never bothered me at other salons, but still, it's a nice touch. Both my manicure and pedicure were very well done and lasted a reasonable amount of time. Nope. I came here for a Signature manicure because I really needed it and it was on my way home from work. I had a previous bad experience with chipping and cracking with their Shellac and Gel at a different Miniluxe. Miniluxe is expensive, so I didn't want to pay for their gel again. So I paid $20 for their basic, Signature manicure. Their location is large and clean, it is also perfect for people watching around Fenway with their large floor to ceiling windows. The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable when I had questions about my nail health. My nails turned out exactly how I wanted them, square with pointed edges and the color turned out perfect. It did take a lot longer than I thought though. I booked online and they said it was a 30 min service. It took 1 hour 15 min from start to finish including Gel removal and dry time. My FAVORITE part about this place is the tool they use to remove previous gel. It is SO gentle; and they don't have to dig or scrape hard with it. It was life changing! The hand massage was also phenomenal. But there is a but. A big but. In less than 24 hours (of doing absolutely nothing) I mean ordering take out and watching tv, nothing, 5 nails have chipped and had these "hairline" cracks that I have only ever had with Miniluxe. They must have a really shoddy product. It is so infuriating. This is actually exactly what happened with their Shellac and Gel, but those at least lasted 3 days. You can go back within the week, but I did that last time TWICE and it never helped anything, just wasted my time. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. I've walked past this MiniLuxe a gazillion times on my way to the doctor or the movies or something else in the area. I have a photo shoot and performance coming up this week and wanted to get service somewhere within walking distance of my place, so I looked up MiniLuxe and their services. I booked the first appointment in the morning (8am) to avoid the inevitable Saturday rush, and ordered the Signature Manicure and the Callus Treatment Pedicure (trust me... my feet needed it). I was a little skeptical about the pedicure because even when salons claim to work on the feet, the technician is usually to soft handed to really make any change. I also didn't know what to expect as far as service, since my appointment was first thing in the morning. When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles, the concierge at the front desk knew my name, and asked if I'd like some water. After bringing me a glass of water, I chose my color, and was immediately taken back to lush, elevated seats to receive my manicure. Let me tell you: THIS TECHNICIAN WORKED HARD. My feet are noticeably softer (and prettier) after having left her care. She didn't skimp on any part of the pedicure, making sure that I got a leg and foot massage, and paying attention to the customer's energy (I'm not chatty, so we sat there in mostly silence, which was nice). The manicure came out just as great, and I loved the whole service experience, even as people started to trail in around 9:15am... by then, I was almost done, and could leave soon. My ONLY, ONLY gripe is that their flip-flops are $40. Seriously?! I'm already paying higher than the norm for the services. Let's not get carried away with the upsells and accessories. Overall, I'll be back and would definitely recommend this as a place to get your mani-pedi, if you don't mind spending a few extra dollars for tremendous service. read more

I got the chance to attend a Yelp community event here last week and it was so much fun!!! We got pampered up with brow waxing and manicure. The location is pretty easy to get to. Just a 5-7 minute walk from Fenway station. The drawing on the wall is really beautiful and hip. The whole place looks very clean and welcoming, and the receptionists are very friendly. They have a good selection of nail polishes in a variety of colors you can pick from. I tried the green color since it's almost spring!!! The colors come out really nice. These are their new products that actually last longer compared to regular nail polishes. I still have them on even after more than a week. I am basing this review on a free manicure I got thru a Yelp elite event. So, I can't comment on what their normal service is like. I am impressed with how well this non-gel manicure has held up. I'm on day 8 after getting it and it's chipping a little (small chips began around day 5), but is surprisingly ok. The original manicure was a little messy (some bubbles and a little unevenness around the cuticles), but this is 4 stars for generally great durability. This review is regarding a past service from 11/22. Throughout the week, I was juggling a bunch of beauty appointments for an upcoming wedding out-of-state. Luckily, I work in Fenway and making an appointment was super easy on their app. The studio is immaculate! It's sleek and inviting. The nail polishes are arranged neatly with a variety of colors for the signature/performance polishes. Originally, I booked for the performance polish since I had a good experience with the longevity, but the signature polishes had a color I needed for my outfit. Anna Michelle is such a sweetheart; she was incredibly patient with me when I decided to add designs to my nails and offered suggestions for patterns. I would go back to see her again if I ever need intricate designs on my nails. Everything looked beautiful and I had fun at the wedding. After using the signature and performance polishes, I would only go back to use the performance polishes. The signature polishes are beautiful, but not worth the money. I came here for a Yelp event last Wednesday (march 29) and wanted to wait a week to see how my nails held up. Let's say it went above my expectations. As I walked in, I was amazed at how friendly the staff was. I chose a complimentary nail color refresh which it typically $15. I chose two colors from the dazzle dry collection. The dazzle dry collection claims to stay on the nails like gel but the cool part about it is that it can be taken off with nail polish remover. I got my nails done with Molica and she is the sweetest! We started off by washing our hands with some hand sanitizer and she began my nails. I wished that my service included cuticle care, but since it is complimentary, it probably isn't included. Anyway, she gave me a base coat, then the color, and then a top coat. After my nails were done, they literally dried within 5 minutes. I was so amazed; there were no bubbles, cracks, or smudges. I've had these nails for over a week and I had no issue of it peeling like how everyone was complaining about. It held up for a really long time, even through showering, scrubbing my hair, washing the dishes, etc. as of now my nails have overgrown so there are some missing color spots but that's obvious. Really not worth the price. This is the second time I've been - first time my performance polish (meant to be a hybrid polish that lasts a week minimum) chipped as soon as I got home and I had to go get it redone. This time my top coat has all these bubbles in it, one of my nails is cut crooked and I still had some ragged edges on my nails when I walked out. This is more expensive than other salons within walking distance, and they do a better job for less. Why would I pay more?
