They are amazing! They fit me in with only a day or two notice to check out my headlights and high beams that were both not functional. They called me to let me know I was due for an oil change and they were able to take care of that as well. When I went to pay I asked if they had a military discount and they did! Way past due. I had a radiator bust and when they fixed it they ordered the radiator with the hose valve on the wrong side of the car. Instead of ordering the correct one, they just put a longer hose to accommodate the incorrect radiator. My encounter with George was less the pleasant. read more

Rude behavior! I arrived at 10am today for a scheduled oil change. The counter person, I believe Jeff, greeted me and advised that the service would be completed at noon. Not expecting a 2 hour wait, I asked why it would take that long. He could have simply explained the details of the service and that it included a thorough and comprehensive engine check, which I would have been totally fine with. Instead he responded by telling me there's a Valvoline just down the street. The tone of his message was that if I didn't like it I could take my business elsewhere, which I did. If that's how they treat customers at the counter from the get-go I can't help but think some of that attitude likely spills over into other areas of their service. read more

My starter for my 2007 BMW 5 series had just failed and I decided to give Leadfoot Lindas a call based on a mailer I received. Unfortunately, they were unable to service my emergency repair for 3 weeks because they were all booked up with "Tire Season". I've take some time in writing this review, because I knew I was going to give it a 5 star rating. I have a 2010 BMW 535xiT (T for touring or station wagon). Much to my chagrin BMW stopped importing 5series wagons so I hope to keep this one as long as I can. I had done business with Leadfoot Linda's in years past, but in the past year I began to use them for more serious work than oil changes. Last year they replaced the auto tranny fluid per schedule and from my observation pushed all the right buttons. This put them on the path to gaining my trust. This year I got a red warning light on the way back from Denver climbing Vail pass. I let the car cool down and carefully drive to Leadfoot's at about 4:30 PM. Kyle made time for me, put the car on the BMW computer and announced that the fault codes showed my electric water pump was failing (thanks BMW). Parts were ordered and installed. Nobody says BMWs are cheap to maintain, but as long as I like the car and the cost is a fraction of annual depreciation of a new car - I think the economics make sense. Thanks Kyle read more

I'd never take my car to anywhere else in the valley. These guys are the best, and they stand by their work. Could you find other places that charge a little less? Probably. But I'll take QUALITY work from an honest shop (and gladly pay a small premium for that service) any day over other places that don't tell the truth or don't back up their work. I know from experience. I took my car to another shop and the owner said I needed new brakes/rotors. I knew I didn't because Leadfoot said I had at least another year on them, if not more (which ended up being the case). So, how much is that honesty worth? A lot, in my book. I've been a customer of Leadfoot Linda's for over 10 years and only had one minor issue (squeaky brakes), which they made right, and they never made me feel like I was making a big deal out of nothing. I arrived in town to find that the battery on my car was dead. After charging it all night it was still dead. Not that big a deal other than my kids and grandkids were flying in at noon and I needed to pick them up, make grocery runs, etc., AND it was the week between Christmas and New Year. I called all over trying to find someone to replace my battery, and do it NOW. You can imagine my luck, but with Lead Foot Lindas the supervisor told me the mechanics and shop bays were all full with jobs, but for a simple battery change I could pull my car into the shop entrance and he would change it out himself. This was all done, as well as an engine check, etc. and I was off within 30 minutes. Great customer service and caring, as well as a job well done. Had a great experience, customer service-wise and speed-of-repair-wise here in November. I needed my car fixed in a week after a snowy accident, and they did an amazing job getting everything repaired. Car was running fine, until 6 days later...I hit North Carolina on my cross country scenic road trip to Boston, and the car started to sound like it needed power steering fluid. Every few days after that, it would sound like it was out again. So we brought it into a Volkswagen dealership in MA and they informed us that Leadfoot Linda's had put in a broken steering column. Pretty major issue here..........not sure how a broken steering column gets put into a car when that is the biggest issue. Volkswagen and Leadfoot Linda's were in touch with each other and with us, and got it all solved so that the only price we had to pay was the extra money Volkswagen would need for the Volkswagen brand steering column they were going to install. I personally think Leadfoot should have refunded the entire repair because of a major error that was made, but one can only dream. Everyone on Leadfoot Linda's end was helpful and I would recommend you use them if you're in the Vail/Avon area. Seems like everyone else on here thinks they're a lot more expensive that other places in the Valley, so I guess if you are able to take it to the front range or to another repair shop, do it. But everyone was nice and helpful during the entire experience. I hope this kind of thing doesn't happen often or to anyone else.... read more

First of all, they don't answer their phone. I have called many times over the last two weeks. I had to finally stop by to speak with them; and then it got worse... I had Leadfoot change my oil several weeks ago. They had identified that my water pump needed changing and that I had a loose front wheel bearing. I asked if I could source the parts myself from a site that offers lifetime warranty and was told to make an appointment after I got the parts. After finally connecting by going to the shop in person, I was told that they were declining to repair my car because they don't install customer supplied parts. I respect that a shop is entitled to have any policy they like; BUT you don't tell a customer to go get the parts and then decline to repair the Car!!! I am taking my two BMW's and my Audi somewhere else, and I would advise you to do the same read more
