The meals all have super high quality packaging, are proportioned well, have high quality ingredients, great taste, good variety and, while a little pricey, are justified in their price due to the ease to make and high quality ingredients that are used. CAPOW!!! This is a professional, clean, well run establishment. Before finding them, I tried using one of their competitors. The competitors food was not the best, the person stationed at the counter would stare at me while I shopped and say things, seemingly to themself out loud, like "I wonder how many meals they'll buy..." while creepily staring at me. I would nervously laugh and pretend those remarks didn't happen. And apparently, that competitors business hours were hypothetical since they would be closed sporadically when I'd stop by during normal business hours. COPOW absolutely COPOWS businesses like what I just drecribed and is now my go to meal prep store in the area. Thank you COPOW for existing and keep doing what you're doing. However, I got there and the guy asked if I had done a call ahead order. I told him that I hadn't that I was just walking up for dinner. He then told me that they might not be able to make me dinner because they had so many orders. This means they're a victim of their own success, and that's a good problem for them to have, but it doesn't make for a great dining experience. He ended up asking me what I wanted to order, which I thought was a little odd after he had told me that they probably weren't going to be able to serve me. I told him, and he told me that they could probably "fit me in" but it that it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. So I waited. To be fair, they did eventually get me my sushi. It was good, not great. They did this thing that I don't really appreciate where they put wasabi in the rolls. Not that I don't like wasabi, but don't put wasabi in the role or on my individual pieces of sushi. The last thing about this place that I would say, is that it is quite expensive. I understand that sushi is always expensive, but there is less expensive just as good sushi options in Coeur d'Alene other than this location. It's also just a food truck, which I think is super cool, but it's in a shared parking lot, and there's not really any outdoor seating. So this is definitely a to-go location. The shack is located in a convenient spot and the lot has ample parking. Service was great. The woman helping us was friendly and even gave me a frequent buyer punch card since I told her it was my first time there. Fyi, Monday's are double punch days!
