Server was nice, but food took way too long. From ordering, we sat there for 1.5 hours waiting for our food. Finally just got it boxed to go because we couldn't wait anymore, and they forgot one of the dishes. We would have just left before, but they take payment and tip when you order.... This was my second time here, and both times Wuaghneta was my server--she's amazing! The ambiance is perfect for relaxing, especially today being Father's Day. I came in just wanting to enjoy the breeze and take in the atmosphere. Wuaghneta was very attentive and kind, even though at first I didn't plan to order anything. I had a sweet tooth and she offered to add raspberries to the ice cream, which was a great touch. I also had a refreshing non-alcoholic drink. On my first visit, I had the smash burger and fries--so good and satisfying before heading out with CDA Pontoons. The service, food, and vibe here are consistently great. Burgers mediocre, fries were OK but obviously not fresh cut. Portions not large nor small and given overall food quality smaller may have been a blessing. If you want the view then enjoy. We were gonna order at the front self serve area and one of the servers came up and asked us if we wanted to sit and have her take our order so we agreed and sat. we were sitting there for 30 minutes while she took other peoples' orders that came before us. We attempted to stop her several times to order and my friend finally was able to stop her and asked her if we could order, she said ya in a second and continued to take other peoples' orders that just got there. I finally stopped her and told her we've been waiting for 30 minutes and she said okay sorry one second and said I saw you order earlier so I just assumed you ordered when that was when we first got here and just got a quick drink from the front and before my friend asked her 15 minutes before if we could order. After waiting over 30 minutes to just order our food was 60 dollars for 2 meals which I personally think is insane for poor service and the same food you can get for half the price somewhere else. I just know that this place makes BANK when it's summer time. It's located right by Tubb's Hill, so it catches all the tourists who want a drink, snack, or lunch when they're done hiking. We were hear on the first nice day of the season, and it was the perfect place to visit after hiking. We sat out on the deck and got to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. We got some of their slushies and we each got a burger. The veggie burger was delicious, I was really pleasantly surprised! Fries were good too, although I personally thought the amount of fries was lacking a bit. Because of the touristy nature of this spot, it's pretty pricey. Definitely worth a visit though! read more

The Buoy is an outdoor "taco shack" type restaurant that sits right where the lake, Tubbs Hill, and McEuen Park converge (making it a great location). I ate there with my wife and we both ordered the fish tacos which tasted good but were way overpriced. Ordering 2 or 3 tacos each (plus a gatorade each) our total came to above $40. It seems wrong to ever pay that much for tacos, especially tacos as common as the ones at Buoy. What you're really paying for here is the location. Other than the price, our experience was positive. I can't say I didn't enjoy the great view of the marina but I'm not in a hurry to return. read more

This week we made a trip there for the day, went, ordered a couple of drinks, told the nice young ladies that I've been receiving messages advertising something called Gucci Fries. They all said yeah, we're sorry but we have no idea what those are.... Everyone asks about them..... Wth?
