We used to order from Freshly before and there really is no comparison. These meals taste home-cooked, while Freshly truly tasted like freezer meals. I also love the way I feel when I eat the food. The food feels fresh and wholesome in my body! I will say that the meals vary in size. We opted for the low carbohydrate 4 oz meal plan option so naturally, the meals are rather light. Some meals are a bit on the smaller side and I get hungry again in 90 minutes or so while some meals are larger and I am unable to eat it in one sitting. I do think some of the meals are lacking in salt/seasoning, but I just shake a little bit of "Everything but the Bagel Seasoning" from Trader Joe's and it does the job! The meals I enjoy most are the meals that include a sauce or meals with flavors that I know I enjoy. I do find that the meals that are simply a protein (ex: chicken) and a side of vegetables with no sauce are almost always dry. Overall, I highly recommend this service! There is such a variety in the foods week to week and day to day. The food is well cooked and tastes of quality. It feels good in my body and most importantly, I feel good knowing that I am eating good food!

Crafted is also very transparent about their ingredients and macros so you'll be able to reach your fitness goals no matter what they are. Among my favorites are the sirloin burger with sweet potato fries, chicken shawarma, beef kobideh, beef fajitas, and pot roast. The food heats up in a couple minutes and lasts for about 5 days refrigerated. However went I got to the location it was closed. I received 6 salads when I only ordered 3. I also received 4 dishes that have chicken and spaghetti. This doesn't match any description on your website and has way more than 1/2 Cup of carbs and not even the carbs that you advertised and with little to no vegetables. I understand that mistakes can happen but my real disappointment comes that I sent an email advising of this error on Monday and I have received no response, not even an apology! I've been using Amani Meals for 3 months now. This is my first meal prep plan. During Covid, I…read moreballooned up to 223 from around 175. I was eating trash, not exercising and just fell apart. Anyway, I decided to give these meal preps a shot because they seem so convenient. I ordered through the online menu and everything was a breeze. I did an assessment to let Amanda know my goals. LOSE WEIGHT. She set up a specific meal prep with Ti (the chef) based on my goals. Every week, they would drop off all my food shrink-wrapped and ready to go. The food tastes great! I have plenty of variety, so I never get bored with the meals. At first, I realized one of my biggest problems was that I was simply overeating. I was eating huge plates of food (and junk at that) over the pandemic and that was packing on a ton of weight. When I got these meal preps, I learned how much I should be eating. At first it seems tough, because I trained my brain that I was done eating when I was exhausted, but apparently, you're not supposed to pass out after eating each meal. Once I started eating these meals, I was ready to go on about my day. No sitting there plopping away, wanting to take a nap after lunch. I work out hard, eat my meal, then go on about my day. I feel a ton of energy. I'm not hungry throughout the day, and I've dropped to 185. I'd like to drop to mid 70s by the fall and I'm sure I can get there with these meals. Another important note....when you first think of ordering the meals, everyone scoffs at paying X amount a week for prepped food. I did the same thing! But the reality was I was spending a ton more money going out to eat. Im ordering drinks, tips, appetizers...when you add up all the costs of going out to eat (even for lunch), it's significantly more than a meal prep plan....and you're eating trash. The difference is you spend all that money throughout the month, without having the overall cost dead in your face at once. I don't have time to go shopping at Costco, buy a bunch of stuff and do it myself. My time is better invested working. Anyone looking to lose weight, or just have good meals without going out, I advise these guys to everyone. 5 out of 5!
