So we got there ordered some drinks and they were out of what we wanted so we made a second choice. Again. No dice. So finally 3rd time was a charm. Not the best first impression. Ordered pizza. NOPE. Oven was broken. Damn. WTF. I look up and there's a sign on the wall...."does anyone know how to fix an ice maker"? REALLY!!! NOT the best 1st impression. Maybe it was a bad night. Relaxing atmosphere, lots of beers to choose, menu has good choices (do you guys sale the dipping sauce for the fries by the gallon - it's that good!), reasonable prices, and friendly bartenders. Inquired with management why they did not accept American express and they said it was rip off and began challenging me through several texts. They wanted to prove a point I guess. I like amex and they have treated me well. We normally spend quite a bit when we go out and the beer was great. We live so close to the Leander beer market and tried it for the first time yesterday. We LOVED it! The bartender was so friendly and made sure everyone was taken care of. We loved the vibe there as well, almost like you're drinking in your friends man cave haha! We tried the Stromboli and it was huge and delicious! We will definitely be back and also they have a nice patio to drink outside when it's cooler out! read more

The bottle selection was excellent for a little place in Leander. New vinyl screens on the patio and heaters coming will make this place even more enjoyable. Disclosure first** only getting 2 stars because of the one bartender who wasn't rude or disrespectful, Loretta* for starters as soon as we walked in the vibe we received wasn't very welcoming. Older people who were seated near us got up and changed seats like they didn't even want to be near us, saying things like "why'd you let them in?" I heard the older guy and said exuse me? The bartender (Loretta) heard him to and said can you repeat that? Then he said well their from Ohio why you'd let them in. I said sir I'm from Dallas but try again so what do you mean? He got up and relocated to an entirely different area of the bar. He said I'll just move, I'll just move I can't sit here. Do I need to state that I'm black? It's obvious. The other 2 bartenders were rude bad bad services. Just horrible all the way around. Served us warm drinks didn't even give us coasters, straws or napkins. What are we dogs? And to top off all of the rudeness and awkward stares I got food poisoning!! How???!! How? From pizza? Nah I don't think so. If you're a minority I'd stay away from this place. If you're over 40 and still think like you're old Texas parents then by all means you'll feel right at home. Notice the reviews look at the people. Speaks volumes. I normally do not write reviews but I felt the need to share what I saw while heading to the restroom. The beer back stock is stored in the kitchen. The kitchen is hot all day, I would not want try any of there beer knowing they were stored in a heated room for 10 plus hours everyday. Furthermore, the manager just sits there not really doing anything. On the plus side, the food was good but the service is lacking. I am guessing because they do not know beer and it shows. read more

The food was great! I wasn't happy with the tap beer selection. When asked what local beers they had on tap, I was told Goliad brewing. That may be a Texas beer, but it's not local. There are at least a dozen local breweries within 50 miles of here that should be represented. The bottled beer selection is OK, but you have to physically go behind the bar to see what they have. read more

We waited till 12:10 and no one opened to doors or even accnowledged we were there? If you are going to post your hours of operation on the door, you should stick to them. read more

We've been going to LBM since it opened and always have a good time. Excellent beer selection and delicious food (from the same folks that owned Luigi's) make it an awesome spot. It can definitely get a little crazy trying to order at the bar when it's crowded, but the bartenders do a good job of getting everyone taken care of. I would highly recommend you check this place out - order a pizza or a calzone and you won't be disappointed. read more

Never enjoy being yelled at by the bartender or made to listen to her complain about the bar owners or its patrons. I don't care if she has a headache or not. It was rude. I am so happy that this place opened. I go her all the time. Nice and comfortable with outside areas as well as inside. They just opened another section that is supposed to include entertainment soon. Owner and staff provide great service. Beer was good. I enjoyed the beers on tap. Decent prices for the tap beers and bottles. Service and appetizers were bad. You have to keep going to the bar to order food and drinks as if we were at a night club. We ordered a few different appetizers and were not impressed at all. Artichoke dip was so runny like a soup with a few chunks of artichoke, and calamari tasted like flavorless oil. I won't order appetizers there again. Would have been nice to have at least one waitress walking around. Also only one single restroom for entire establishment so you stand there waiting on one toilet. If you want a few good beers it's good. Other than that, I think the owners need to make some big improvements. read more

Ok some mentioned this - been there 20+ times in last 12 months - whether busy or not at all, the bartenders (all of them) are disinterested or just plain lazy - they pay no attention to customers. You have to go out of your way to get their attention to get a refill. The service is ridiculously poor. I like the beer and atmosphere and the food is pretty good. I have tried this spot several times now in recent months and I can't help but be left bewildered at the service level. Clearly this is a business that will be completely dependent on local repeat clientele. Also from my observations still yearns to be much busier more often during the week than it is still. Yet each time I find the primary bartender with each visit whom I have come to assume is one of the principals (large, glasses, cap) always seems put out, un-engaging in a hurry and offers little especially rarely ever smiles at anyone. Watching the crowd each visit it seems evident he has little to no rapport with nearly any of yet this is a classic small out of the way local only place. Worse yet on my most recent weekend nite visit there was another very young lady behind the bar who had no business being there at least when busy. She was extremely unsure of everything had to write down every single beer request made even if just one or two suggesting she could not remember from counter to tap what was ordered and was always easily distracted or confused. While the food is fair not great, this place due to location, beer selection and neighborhood need, could be wildly successful. Unless serious changes occur behind the bar the future is bleak and few will want to just hang out at busy or slow. read more

Absolutely love it! My spouse and I are always joking we want to open a local little pub that serves great beer except we didn't want to have to work in one--we just wanted to drink in one. Leander Beer Market saved us the trouble of having to do it ourselves. I think they might have just about every beer there is--including Tommy Knockers Maple Nut Brown Ale that I drove to Idaho Springs in CO last June to buy and haven't found anywhere else! Not only did they have it but they knew they had it! The gluten free pizza was actually good (unlike other gluten free pizzas we've had). Please, please, fellow Leanderonians (or whatever we are called) can we please keep this place alive? To have a pub like this in our own back yard is incredible! Let's not let it disappear like Selene's, O'Leander Café and Hemingway's (yes, I know Hemingway's was in Cedar Park). And while we're at it, let's support Shae's Place across the street. Now I'm off to shop at the little boutique next door to the market that I didn't know existed until I went to the Leander Beer Market. read more
