The staff is wonderful. Belinda, the Administrator, has run the place for years and she has a dedicated team of staff and teachers who have longevity as well. It's not a revolving door there which gives security and comfort to the kids. My granddaughter was blessed with being in Ms Mel's class for Pre-K. All the teachers are wonderful but Ms Mel is exceptional in our eyes because of her genuine affection for Avery and her focused development. Avery bonded with Ms Mel immediately and as a result she has grown and thrived in her class. It is going to be hard for Avery to leave Ms Mel for kindergarten but she has done a great job preparing Avery for her next chapter in school. read more

We LOVE Torrey pines creative kids! My oldest son went to this location from 2-5 years old and now our youngest is about to graduate from pre k he also has been here since he was two. I absolutely love the staff they have become like family. Ms. Belinda is always making sure all the kids get nothing less than the very best care. THIS PLACE NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. I am working with many authorities to get this handled. I had just pulled my 2 year old son out two days ago IMMEDIATELY after I was told he got into a "fight" with a child. The bruise from the picture I was sent by the school was very different than seeing him when I picked him up - he was covered in bruises on both arms from his shoulders down to his elbows. It happened between 8:30-9:30am and was reported to me at 1:00pm. 4 HOURS LATER. THEY BLAMED IT ON A CHILD. Do NOT trust these teachers. Do NOT trust the administrators. Do NOT trust this school. The school director also was aware of this specific teacher (she knows her name but I won't say for legal reasons) and swept it under the rug from what I heard from other parents. My son was neglected and abused. Another teacher told me what happened and how she had seen this teacher do this to OTHER children. My son has BRUISES. Long overdue review. What can I say but that we had an amazing time at Creative Kids Torrey Pines! My son (Wes) was in Pre-K at a different school last year, but he couldn't stay so we had to find a school fast. We signed up for the waitlist, and luckily they had an opening about two weeks later. His teacher, Ms. Ramona, is a truly wonderful human who really cares about her job. My husband and I noticed immediately how much our son was learning. He came home trying to sound out more words, writing, and even doing math! I had a hard time getting him up for school before, but at creative kids, he couldn't wait to tell Ms. Ramona what we did over the weekend. Her curriculum was excellent (especially summer camp) and my son still talks about activities they did during that time. She also had parent involvement every two weeks for summer so we could see what the kids were learning. My son graduated from the Pre-K program and they had the cutest ceremony! On my son's last day of school (after summer), he didn't want to leave and cried in Ms. Ramona's arms. We are truly appreciative of Ms. Ramona and the wonderful staff at Creative Kids! read more

Continued: We walked out of the room, my husband is a quiet guy especially when he's upset he put my son down in the hallway as we went to retrieve our other children to see how he walked. Our child was extremely hurt. I became extremely upset. Not upset that he had become hurt because as I said before things happen I was upset that once again the teacher failed to report my son was hurt failed to communicate with us that he was hurt once again. Allowed him to say at school ALL DAY again in pain without contacting us. Madeline failed to follow protocol, she didn't report to the office my son was hurt, she didn't fill out a incident report NOTHING. She used poor judgment assuming my child was "faking" . I walked back into her classroom a demanded a incident report she filled it out stating " running and fell down " nothing more nothing less. No details of his injury no details of the incident. She walked the paper to the office where Pamala could care less about my child shrugging her shoulders as she knew this had just occurred last month claiming the teacher never reported to the office he was hurt so she could not call home. After me having some choice words with Ms Maddy ( abuser) we left and took my son to the emergency room. Just so happens we ended up seeing the same doctor we seen the month prior. After examining. My son we found a large ligature mark on the back of his leg raw as if something or someone restrained him with an object. The doctor stated " the schools incident reports are so vague they are not being honest as to what is taking place with the baby you all need to remove all of the children and file a report with the authorities". My husband became enraged. The incident happened on a Friday we got out of the hospital at 6pm we could not call the police until Monday. I would have had her arrested the same day if I could have. On Monday we went to the school to collect our children's things. They hired a new front office lady name Amber this lady wouldn't know the truth if it slapped the Sh!t out of her. I came in peace until she started following be around on her phone with her to big pants and shirt she had on that looked as if it was fresh out of the trash can she's not presentable are professional enough to be in the front office. I recorded from the time I walked in as she tried to lie and say I was walking up and down the hallway screaming. We withdrew our children picked up their extra clothes and I phoned the police as I wanted Maddy arrested for her actions. Since the incident happened Friday I was told to go to the police station and press charges on her. We waited a while for Carrie she never showed. We left I filed charges on Maddy, Brandi and Pamala for child abuse child endangerment and child neglect. They all showed poor judgment negligence and neglect when my child was hurt in their care Mrs. Belinda was on vacation unfortunately. My husband stated that all the staff showed disrespect and disregard when we returned for the item he stated that Pamala and Maria are not who they appear to be. I agree about Pamala as I have a co- worker that is to work with her (Ms. NI NI ) who told me about her racist comments pertaining to "a parent of color " I would have NEVER allowed my children to attend this school had I known this and that Amber is RIDICULOUS They keep getting my pictures and videos erased I will continue to put them back up keep it up I'll be outside the center with blow up pictures protesters and the news read more

Toddler room is exceptional. My son was well cared for and the communication was great. Ms. Belinda really cares about all her kids. We recently moved to Henderson due to a job change. But if we were still in the area, my children will still be attending creative kids. The cameras are definitely a plus. They also provide diapers, wipes & food! My school age son was walked to school every day by Ms. Angie, and he misses her so much. We've gotten really lucky with our new provider, but we do miss our 1st home daycare. Big difference here - this is a PRESCHOOL not a DAYCARE. And Torrey Pines is the BEST of the locations! My experience is a unique one! I attended here when I was a child, some 35-years ago. I remember it being a place I really looked forward to and loved the summer programming and friends I made (which were different friends than those I attended public school with). As an adult, I now have had three children (currently 16, 5, 4). My 16 year old attended Creative Kids when in elementary school...and when I enrolled him that first day of pre-school, he had the SAME teacher I did!! Yes, she has worked there *that* long and keeps it fresh (Ms. Arlene) and so has the director (Ms. Belinda), these gals (and others with over 10-years devotion) have a strong tenure and investment in the kids and school. It's their career, not a job. My son entered with learning delays and if it wasn't for the care and teaching he received at Creative Kids in those early years (4-6yrs), he would not have been ready for elementary school (even though I also had him in Early Intervention with the school district) - his preschool teachers worked with him HARD and gave me lessons to take home and quarterly evaluations. We had a team goal and they were incredibly supportive. Because Torrey Pines only accepts kids at 18+ months of age, I enrolled my NEXT two babies in nearby competitive schools but moved each of them the day they turned 18 months. My littles inherited the same successful teachers as their big brothers (I am telling you, these great teachers never leave!). I was given the choice to move to different classrooms for variety if desired, but I chose to keep it the same, as it is GREAT to walk in as a family and have them know us all! There were two times that I was forced to try different Creative Kids locations due to my worksites. It was ok at those locations (Summerlin and Blue Diamond), but I couldn't handle it and HAD to return my kids to the Torrey Pines locations where EVERYONE smiles and is enthusiastic! I now go 15-minutes out of my way (every day) to get the little ones there. And no, 3 days a week is not enough. Once I saw how much each child was learning, we up'd them to 5/days. Yes, it hurts my bank account, especially because they DO NOT give longevity discounts which I get pretty ticked about after having three kids there for 10 years. Pricing goes up annually and you are hit with 'annual registration fees on top of it all (even if you are pre-existing?!). Also, not much changes during the summer except you get a t-shirt, extra crafts, and (free) community speakers - but unfortunately, you're charged more. On the flip side, the toys are multicultural, snacks are different daily, they care about kids with allergies, wall hangings/art are always fresh, they have a garden, and pristine outdoor equipment. Also, I wouldn't have survived potty training without their teachers! This location attracts a diverse group of kids. I notice a lot of families work for Cirque. I LOVE how my kids have friends from different countries at this school and they celebrate their holidays, foods, and traditions. VERY INCLUSIVE. If your child has the opportunity to benefit from the education Ms. Stephanie gives, the compassion from Ms. Olga, the interest from Ms. Rebecca, the encouragement from Ms. Pam or the modern grandmother-like support from Ms. Belinda, then you have made THE BEST PARENTING MOVE YOU CAN MAKE. These ladies ARE your surrogate parents, so choose wisely and pat yourself (and them) on the back. read more

This school by far is the best thing that happened to my son, they are excellent in all aspects! I can't thank them enough for the care and kindness. They treated my son as if he was their own child I very much appreciate them. By age 4 he was able to read books for 1st graders which I definitely attribute to his school! Unfortunately, we moved far from this area, and I wasn't able to enroll my scond child there, but I certainly recommend this school for your child! From the moment I stepped into this Creative Kids Location, I knew my children would grow and learn here until they became of elementary school age. From the office staff to the Director, Ms. Belinda, I felt as if I was back in Hawaii and being welcomed with open arms. My daughter has been in Ms. Bell's class for the past year. Although only 3, Ms. Bell is her best friend and someone who she looks up to. The lessons she plans on a weekly basis far exceed my daughter's age and every expectation I had when enrolling her into preschool. I cannot wait to see what the next couple of years will bring as my daughter advances from room to room. We get a phone call about ANY and every scrape that may occur during the day and they try to hide NOTHING , which was not the case for past daycares that we have tried. I live in summerlin but chose to make the commute daily just to have my 3 year old at this location because of how amazing the staff and director is. I showed up with my son for our scheduled tour to be turned away at the door saying they're not accepting any children. It really sucks that 1 bad teacher made me take Both of my kids out because my older daughter loved this school and her teachers were amazing ! But my 2 year olds teacher ms bell was the opposite. Her attitude with the parents was nasty and my daughter cried all the time with her. She loved me Stephanie. She's a very talkative 2year old and you can understand her clear as day so when she sarted telling me ms bell was mean I knew it was a problem. Creative Kids on Torrey Pines is still one of the best in town. The staff there is unlike no other daycare center's. The same friendly, caring staff that was there (some front office and some room staff) when my first born attended was still there three years later when I returned with my second child. I was very happy to see them all again and felt at ease knowing my baby was in their care. They always made us feel welcome and became like a second family to us. We recently moved out of state and sadly will not need their care anymore, but I wanted to be sure they received the recognition and praise they deserved from my family and I. My son James has been attending Creative Kids since pre-school (where he had Ms. Rebecca, who was awesome!) and moved on to graduate from their pre-k program with Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Olga, who I absolutely adore. I was initially apprehensive about getting my son into school, of course as any first parent there is a level of uncomfortablity with allowing others to step in with your child, but at Creative Kids and with Ms. Belinda's help (the FANTASTIC school director who runs a very tight ship) there were no tears (from myself or the little) and no feelings of uneasiness, but of an overall trust and confidence that I am leaving my child in the right hands where I can rest easy that he will be nurtured in the way I would want when I am not around. They also update parents with the Brightwheel app, so if ever you are curious about what your child is up to, you can see through photos/videos and check-in notifications exactly what they are doing (it's like your child's own social media, which I think is so cool and definitely appreciate when I am at work wondering about my child's day). Every day I am greeted with friendly faces, and each and every staff member refers to my son by name when they greet him, which makes him feel very special! The entire staff is amazing, and listing them all by name would truly be a feat, they are all rockstars! James has learned so much at Creative Kids, not just with curriculum, but with every day life skills! Each new day he comes home excited to tell me all the new things he has learned, whether from inside the classroom, outside on the yard or in the garden. This school is truly the best, and with the new school year rolling around and knowing we have to say goodbye soon, Creative Kids will truly be missed!! This place is okay but it's not superb in my perspective. The cost is somewhat pricey compared to other facility. I pay $320 biweekly (for Half day program) and it's only 4 hours per day. Other location is 5 hours per day for half-day program. You will need to bring your own lunch as well for the kids. Again, this place is A-OK but not great. read more

After touring numerous places, My twins started daycare here over 1 year ago. My daughter was not happy or excited to go and would always cry. I was sure it was because it was so new to her. But later on also realized there was no attachment to her care taker, Ms. Bell.. I did not personally care for her attitude either. We decided to pull them out for a while during then holidays & then covid hit. Fast forward to aug 2020, we decided to re-enroll them. They would be 3.5 and have a different teacher. This time around the experience was amazing! The twins were excited to go & they loved their teacher Ms. Rebecca. I also loved all the activities, arts and crafts they were doing in her class! She gave parents updates several times a day! Belinda the director is on top of things and "Mr" Pam (lol) is always cheerful, helpful and welcoming. We moved out of state and was very sad to have to pull my them out..especially since they were thriving and so attached to their teacher. My daughter still asks about her and says "i love Ms. Rebecca". I have cried when my daughter said she wants to see her & giver her a hug :( but i am happy they left there with great memories! So many wonderful things to say, where do I begin. We relocated from out of state and my son had just turned 4. We did as much research as possible on different sites prior to the move here and there is actually a Creative Kids closer to our home, but the reviews we read on this location (Torrey Pines) tugged at our hearts. And they did not disappoint. Very clean, safe and inviting. All the staff is very friendly, Ms Belinda and all the ladies at the front desk. Room 8 with Ms Olga and Ms Stephaine, these ladies are magical. So loving and caring with my little one. He learned so much everyday. He is going to Kindergarten now and still talks about seeing them both. We love and miss everyone here and will return for fall festivals and surprise pop up visits. read more

My daughter has been going here for a little over two years. When she started, she was very shy, but after a while, she really opened up and started to trust others more. The preschool program was amazing - they had her writing her name in a week! Every single member of the staff is amazing and so sweet. The price is also very fair (childcare is expensive) and never once thought we were being taken advantage of. The inside is always clean, so many different things for the kids to do, day camp is awesome and has field trips, and you can tell everyone there genuinely loves their job and the kids. My 4 year old(almost 5) goes here and we loves her teacher. Ms. Rhonda you are the best! I couldn't think of a better role model for my daughter than you. You have helped so much. More than I could ever ask! If they were a 24-hour daycare, they would get 5 stars. You pack their lunch and the school takes care of the snacks. I have also been to the Rainbow & Cheyenne location.
