He explained our set is fully protected leather (no wonder it's aged like fine wine!) and even sent us home with a big sack of stuffing to refresh the cushions. I love our new sofas! They are so comfy, and look amazing. Custom size and design makes all the difference- we were able to choose the kind of leather we liked, the color, the finish, decide between the type of legs vs no legs. The deep seating on these sofas ( Geneva model ) and the ottoman is unreal. It feels like sitting on the cloud! Perfect after a long busy day. It's not easy to find a good deep seating sofa. We were looking for months, and now we finally found it. The speed and the quality of service were a big surprise considering the chain supply issues everyone faces in 2022. Greg who was assisting us made it possible to deliver not only the best customer service but also the speedy production and delivery of the sofas. When we first came into the store, we were able to test different models, and it truly made a difference comparing to all the other stores- not to mention shopping online. Greg was explaining to us how each model is created and what makes it different. He showed us the springs, materials, variety of ways top pillows can be attached etc etc. And the cool part is, we can come to store at anytime to get some filling for the tops if they start feeling loose and too soft. Our purchase came with the 5 year warranty and the set of soap and conditioner that helps maintain the exceptional quality of the leather. We have a small dog with very active paws so this was a concern, but the dog loves the sofas as much as we do! So hopefully there will be no scratches. I'm so happy we came across this place! I have some balance issues which can make it difficult to get up from a sofa. And, my sofa is only 19 inches from the floor which makes it a challenge for me to get up. Leather Creations was able to custom make me 2 chairs which are 24 inches from the floor, with firm seat cushions in the style and color leather which I liked. Pricey - but oh so very worth every penny for the comfort and ease which I can get up from the chair! I had a wonderful experience selecting our couch from leather creations! They were able to put the back on one onto the seat and arms of another and create something truly custom. I love the idea of never having to replace a couch because of the cushions because all the cushions are refillable and they offer a lifetime worth of the filling. The service person Greg was very patient with us not pushy at all and answered all of our questions. We couldn't have had a better experience! We recently took delivery of a leather couch and loveseat purchased from Jerry at the Barrington Store. We really appreciated the no pressure sales approach. Both of the pieces were customized, length, firmness, leather, feet, etc., based upon our measurements, specific dimensions and test setting on different models in the showroom. We had a good idea what we wanted when we stopped at the Barrington store. Jerry helped us figure out and select the options and explained the customization details. That was in July. Today we made the 2-hour trip to the store and purchased a matching leather recliner and a fabric-covered ottoman. The combination of quality and very professional service is what brought us back. In 2008 we purchased a recliner from the Buford, GA store when we lived in GA. Our kids have that chair and it is still holding up very well. The furniture quality over 12 years of use is what brought us back to Leather Creations when we decided to purchase new living room furniture. We now live back in Wisconsin and the closest store is in the Chicago area. We could have gone elsewhere but did not. Leather Creation's furniture is not cheap but quality never is. I have bought two sectionals from Leather Creations and have excellent customer service. I like that you can get filling for your back cushions any time that you need them and if the seat cushions get a little worn you can order new foam pads for the seats. We also have two leather tub chairs that are at least 15 or more years old and they look great. read more

I bought an entire set for a family room and spent quite a bit of money on the couches. We bought what we were told was very high quality leather imported from Italy. The color began to deteriorate and wear off in spots after a few years. We had them redone but that only lasted a year or so. Cushions constantly slip out as well though the person who sold us the couches told us that wouldn't be a problem. I've only had two sets of leather couches. The first set we bought in downtown Chicago and were very high quality and lasted forever. Then we bought these. I'd look for other options where you can get higher quality leather. read more

If I could some it up...the explanation of what Leather Creations manufactures, both from a quality & durability standpoint, is overshadowed by it's beauty and comfort.
