While providing a constant beat to drive to (and practice freestyle rapping) is was irritating as hell! I took it to another shop and they told me the tie-rods (?) were bad...had them replaced... WHUMP WHUMP! Went back and had new struts put on... WHUMP WHUMP! DAYUM! Finally something kicked in and I decided to find a local reputable company and I really hit the jackpot with Darrell's. Here's why: 1) I found them online and they had great reviews. We all know the power of a good review from happy customers! 2) After I performed my freestyle rap of what was wrong with the car, the owner Terry said "Okay, let's go drive it." What?!? I didn't realize that the other place never drove my car!! I was thrilled! 3) The diagnosis and suggested repair conversations were amazing! It was like a medical diagnosis from a really compassionate doctor. Even with the unexpected additional service I needed to get my car in tip-top shape, never once did I feel like I was being lied to or taken advantage of. Rented a car and came back to Darrell's at 8am and explained my symptoms. They knew exactly what it was likely to be (a suspension problem). I asked if it could be fixed on Friday so I could drive home. They did! And washed and detailed the car so when I picked it up Friday at 2:30 we could hit the road home confidently. I still have no air condition.. He messed up and did not take accountability and responsibility . I paid several hundred dollars. I don't even know what this dishonest person did for that much money. I was going to get my oil changed there recently , but it did not sit right with me to go back and give them my business and then this all came to surface again . I could hear my dad in heaven, telling me not to go to that person . I decided to tell the truth online because it's 100% true no matter what he says . People know deep inside when they aren't doing you right . There's no way that air air-conditioning was fixed . He took my money. These people do not treat others fairly. You may get a good experience here and there, but he completely ripped me off and he knows it. Also, another huge thing, he did not lock my car when I left it there & a homeless person was in my car found rooting around on his security cameras. They called me. How horrible. Police were involved. They can't even lock people's cars at night??? His answering machine is very rude as well . He tells you not to keep calling back in a rude, impatient disgusted tone. Call and listen, Although he may change it . They did not do me any service whatsoever and stole my money by not fixing my air-conditioning. Who treats a client this way? I should have been more insistent because I know that I was correct and that he was wrong, but I left because I'm not a fighter, but guess what ??My anger and his disservice finally popped out and I'm tired of it sitting on it . They were supposed to have ordered another new part since the last one had scratches on it. It was supposed to be in within a month. I've never heard another word. I've given up on this location. They damaged my car and it seemed like an inconvenience to make it right. Absolutely do not recommend. I will literally drive 17 miles today to go to another Hyundai dealership, because these guys are clearly inept.
