My pizza consumption has gone up about 60% since discovering Ledo's. Can't vouch for the atmosphere, since we always get delivery, but the pizza is absolutely addicting. I love the buffalo chicken with sweet peppers and my wife just gets the plain cheese, but we can easily put down a medium each over the course of a lazy Sunday night in front of the TV. Not good for the body but my mouth couldn't be happier. I just had the absoulute worst experience with this location. I placed my order with "manager" Deon Thomas while ordering Deon saw fit to carry on a conversation with someone else . When my food arrived out if the three things ordered one was right. I called Deon then placed me on hold looked up my order repeates and everything wad as i said it the was delivered wrong they made the mistake and sent wrong pizzas he tell me even though they made the mistake i have to pay the difference for them to send me a new pizza . I LOVE ledo! It's seriously perfection. I love that you have so many options but I always get their pizza. It's not overloaded with sauce and grease or oily. I ordered my own customized pizza - best pizza I had. The crust is crispy, fresh and warm. The ingredients are all tasty and fresh - the sauce is amazing. It is their own ledo sauce . second time I ordered their pizza with no sauce instead got the olive oil garlic sauce instead of tomatoe sauce on the pizza and it was even better. Today I call and try to order 2 large 2 topping pizzas and they tell me they cannot deliver to my address. I live 3.3 miles from the store. This is just fucking ridiculous. Never got a chance to eat the food. Ordered drinks, waited 10 minutes and no sign of the waiter. Went to the front to ask. A rude man behind the counter said they were busy. When I asked if he meant too busy to serve customers, he said yes. I asked for his name, and he said he was Jeff, the manager. I have been here twice for lunch in the past few weeks. I just started a new project in McLean, so of course, it is time to Yelp it out and find good lunch spots. Even though Ledo's is a chain, it is the closest place to the office that has favorable reviews, so my coworkers & I decided to try it out. The first time, I tried the 'Personal-sized Pizza', in pepperoni, and it was huge for a 'personal size'. The pizza was delicious, better than my expectations. My coworkers had enjoyed their entrees too. Today, I tried the Calzoni. It was also huge, and delicious. I was satisfied both times I went. Yes! Square bowling alley pizza with the cracker crust and super flavor sauce! How does it get any better than this? For NY style pizza, go to the Italian Store. For that yuppy Neapolitan style pizza, go to Puppatella. Come one people, who goes to Papa Juan's anymore? Hell no! Not me! This place is convenient too. The Korean BBQ pizza was the best Pizza I have had in years. The thin crust was right on point. The toppings were well cooked. The sweetness of the meat and then the spicy aftertaste made it a totally unique experience. We had it delivered to our hotel and it got there within the promised timeframe. We ordered a couple pizzas and wings for the office since we wanted something different from the premium pizza places and other local delivery. We've loved other Ledo's in the past, so the office was excited that we had a Ledo option with local delivery. We ordered online, which was incredibly simple, and even provides an option to let each individual place their own order and combine it into a single deliver and charge. The delivery guy called right when he arrived, and specified which door to our building he was using. The entire delivery experience was excellent. The food was hot, and both the pizza and wings were delicious. We're definitely moving this up to the top of our list when ordering pizza or pasta for delivery. read more

I grew up in Maryland and was obsessed with Ledos pizza. I was beyond happy when I moved to Arlington and found that I lived right by a Ledos that DELIVERED. I honestly don't get the reviews saying they have bad customer service ... I would be the first person to complain if they did but I order from them all the time and my order almost always gets there quickly, is correct, and is hot. We have been loyal Ledo's customer from a while since 2009. Today we made a $60 dollar order and it was so wrong. I called Ledo's customer service and they were just so unprofessional. I ordered a pineapple pizza, with ham and no sauce. The pizza that they brought was burnt on the top, no ham or pineapple at all. As soon as I receive the order I called Ledo's pizza to let them know how disappointed I was. I called them and they actually asked me: If I was sure the pizza did not have any ham, "SERIOUSLY??" even a 5 year old will notice that the pizza did not have any ham. No ordering from this place ever. What a shame! Stay away from this place. There are plenty of better places for pizza and such. This is the most expensive pizza around, the quality is just not what it used to be, and you should get what you pay for not for burnt masa or missing ingredients. So I used to love Ledo Pizza. I'm hoping this review finds them and they revisit their business. I ordered mozzarella sticks, toasted ravioli, and a small everything pizza. Everything was fine except the pizza. It smelled like dog food and was covered in bacon. I NEVER would use "covered in bacon" as an insult until now! This pizza smelled awful,...then I bit into it and the only taste that hit my tongue was onion lol. Fail fail fail! I'm sad to write this review because I've been a lawful customer until now. Ledo's is my kind of pizza. A thin crust and a nice sweet pizza sauce. Not too complicated and I love it. It's one of the few places I'll eat pepperoni because the sweet tomato sauce cancels out (to a tolerable degree) the saltiness of the pepperoni and the oily cheese. In fact, it's so good I can eat more of this pizza than others because of the sweet tomato sauce. Basically, it's crack pizza. read more

Delivery review: Ledo's pizza is not for everyone -either you like it or you don't. The crust is very thin (a little bit greasy on the bottom) and a little crunchy on the end pieces. They are not always generous with the sauce -that said, I really like their pizza... it tastes fresh and good. It isn't like NY style thin crust (yum, all NY pizza) -it's just different, and imo better than Dominos. Try it once and you'll either like it and order again or you'll skip it next time. In the past, I have also ordered soup and chicken parm -both good -and their bread rolls are delicious. Toasted ravioli is also delicious, but fattening (LOL -so is everything I mentioned) and not inexpensive. Awesome thin crust pizza! I would only suggest ordering pizza from here and stay away from their subs and sandwiches. To be honest I think you can get better subs at subway. So if you're in the mood for pizza then definitely try Ledo's. I'm not even a fan of thin crust pizza usually but I amazed how good Ledo's was. As a long-time Ledo's lover and former Maryland resident, I missed my Ledo's when I moved to Ballston. Tried the one in Roslyn a couple of times, but they don't understand what makes a great Ledo's pizza. The S Edgewood location does. The crust and toppings are spot on and we have the convenience of online ordering and delivery. Having ordered from this shop about 5 times now, delivery has been prompt at a variety of times during the day and evening. read more

Ledo is Ledo, a unique pizza and I don't mean the rectangular shape. The crust is flaky and buttery like pie crust, and the sauce is a tad too sweet, in other words it's on the decadent side of things. We've never had a problem with the delivery service.
