I sat in the restaurant and after fifteen minutes of being there, the lady at the front desk told me that the grimy guy in the back had not yet put in my food. Beyond that ordeal, stars should be much lower. Workers are dirty and you can smell them from across the counter. They are constantly picking their faces and hair. They do not pay attention to customers they just flirt with each other. Very odd place. Pizza is basic. read more

I ordered from here two weeks ago and really enjoyed it-- the Ledos pizza which I love. Unfortunately, today's experience was embarrassingly disappointing. I ordered a large pizza for guests, and it had hardly any sauce. The crust was thick and chewy. Come on Ledos McHenry you gotta do better and be consistent. Stopped in for lunch and saw a pretty big menu, colorful with many options. I ordered the Craft Spring Chicken pizza , 8", $12.29 with garlic aioli sauce, fresh basil, grilled chix, and 4 cheeses. I thought it was great, a nice change from a red sauce pizza...plenty to eat for one. The difference is they are square pizzas not round. Others ordered the South Street Cheesesteak hot sub and they ate happily; I barely got a bite of it....with fries and drink, $13.50...not bad price. read more

An okay spot in Deep Creek. Was fairly busy last night but the service was pretty good. They serve alcohol. We started with the fried pickle spears which were good. We got two pizzas, a regular cheese pizza and the cheeseburger pizza. Both (and especially the latter) were just very greasy and okay at best. Prices are reasonable. I had already wasted a lot if time and would need to microwave the spaghetti. But since they rushed the pizza, my well done ended up undercooked. Just a complete fail for this Ledos. We had a large order at this Ledo's which by necessity was placed on short notice. All the same, they were able to make it happen, and we had a great lunch for a large group of people with limited prep time. The staff took our call en route to the lake, and they provided a very reasonable time expectation, especially since we were only calling ahead by about two hours. They were able to get our food prepared when promised, though, and everything came out pretty well. I'd probably skip the ravioli next time, as they were fairly unremarkable save the spicy filling. I couldn't really taste much else, though. The mozz sticks were as you'd expect, and the pizzas, wings, salads, and breadsticks were very well received. For feeding a crowd, this was definitely a win. Just wanted to say thanks to Ledo's for accommodating us and our large order on such short notice! You guys rock! read more

Stopped here many months ago on a Sunday evening after seeing a movie at the theater. I have eaten at various Ledo's establishments but I have never been to this particular one. It is located in a small shopping center on the main road that takes you into town, and there are other shops, a liquor store, etc in the same area. At any rate, came in and sat down at a booth. There is a variety of seating options from high top tables, bar seating, tables and booths. We opted to get a meat lovers pizza, which was very good. Ledo's is kind of your standard pizza with small cuts and a good bit of grease to the top. Each slice has the same amount of cheese, pepperoni, and other meat on it so there's no need for favorite picking. I can recall the Cowboys were on and I offered to switch seats so those who appreciate that squad could watch. Pizza is good- I haven't tried any other items from Ledo's- if it ain't broke don't fix it. read more

So far, we've ordered from here about five times since buying a place in the Deep Creek Lake area in early November 2019. We have not yet dined in; this review is for the call-in pickup experience only. The staff has been mostly very positive except for the guy who answered the phone order call on Sunday 1/5/20 around lunchtime. He had a tude for no reason but then changed his tune at pickup. The food is phenomenal. No matter what we've gotten (so far mostly pizzas but also ravioli and other types of pasta) has been hot, delicious, devourably presented, and perfect. I'm a huge fan of Ledo's and this location is consistently well managed serving great food and excellent service. Every time I visit family in Garrett County I say "Can we go to Ledo's?!" I always get the house salad with the house dressing (delicious, creamy Romano dressing!). Then, we always share an order of the buffalo wings. They are always perfectly cooked - crispy, meaty and juicy with tasty sauces. And then, the main event - the pizza! I've been a huge fan since the old days of Ledo's in College Park, MD. I always ask for extra sauce and well cooked regardless of the toppings. The square pizza is crispy and flakey and always delicious! I always order extra so I can take some home and enjoy round #2! This is perhaps the worst pizza I've ever had. They say even bad pizza is pretty good. Not true. It's like they took the rectangular pizza that you used to find on your elementary school cafeteria tray and then made the crust out of the tray itself. Just awful. Ordered take out pizza and wings tonight. I love Ledo and eat it a lot in Rockville. The wings were outstanding. The pizza which they should be known for and easy to make consistently had an undercooked crust and essentially no sauce. I truly hate giving poor reviews as I want places to succeed but I'm hoping they actually read their reviews and work on correcting the criticisms. Every summer we vacation to the deep creek area, and we always get Ledo's. As a family of 4 we get 2 orders of fries and a large square pizza. It's always very good. The sauce is sweet, there's the perfect amount of cheese, and the pizza is always very fresh and warm when we get it. This time around we received a pizza with very little to no sauce, most of the pieces of pizza were bread and cheese. Their fries are very good, they don't have much salt when served, but I like that so I can add the amount of salt I want. Overall this is a good restaurant and we look forward to the pizza we get from here every trip. read more

Solid place in Deep Creek for salad, pizza, pasta, and munchies! My sister, nephew, and I visited for lunch and were pleasantly surprised that they were offering a $8.49 lunch buffet. We decided to each get the buffet & also an order of mozzarella sticks as a treat. They offer a well-stocked buffet full of variety: soup of the day, mixed garden salad with popular toppings (cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, croutons, etc.), breadsticks, spaghetti w/ tomato sauce, about 6 types of pizzas, and a blueberry pastry for dessert. The pizza was fresh and warm - it was the same appearance and quality as the kind you would order at your table (which is important because some 'other' places make sloppy pizzas for the buffet). The batter on the mozzarella sticks was a little too crunchy for my liking, but the cheese inside was ooey gooey and the marinara sauce was warm and yummy alongside. It was also a nice portion size; about 7-8 sticks for $7.95. The salad and vegetables were fresh and delicious, as were the dressings. I got ranch dressing on my salad and I also tried their Romano cheese & herb dressing - it was fantastic! I would definitely dip a breadstick or pizza crust into that next time. Our server Kylie B provided excellent customer service with a smile! She was on top of everything and went above and beyond to ring up our to-go orders, a doggie bag for the little one, and our drinks never went empty. Blinded by a whiteout snowstorm and no other open restaurants, our hunger was satiated by Ledo. Quick to place an order at the counter and wait for carry-out; only took about 15 minutes from ordering to walking out the door with our piping-hot order to feed 8 adults. Front counter girl was efficient and friendly. Your mind won't be blown by the atmosphere or the food itself, but Ledo does have a surprisingly-varied menu selection; it's more than just pizza. They even cater to the gluten-free crowd as well as the vegan/no cheese crowd with their Viva la Vegan pizza, which we ordered and definitely enjoyed. Square pizza is their thing, and there are two sizes. Our crowd definitely enjoyed the big square covered in sausage and pepperoni, and it didn't get soggy, quite a feat for a big greasy meaty pizza. Hubby and I ordered chili as well, which tasted great while we were eating it, as did the vegan and non-vegan pizza. However, there must be a serious sodium quotient in the chili and/or the pizza. Not sure if it was just the chili, or compensating on the non-buttery vegan crust by adding lots of extra Na, but we were both waking up throughout the night to down H2O, and into the next day (no, we didn't drink that night).
