Receipt showing that they charge me a dollar to take the mushroom and another to take jalapeno off.

Service was not that good as for mule. They didn't have a little car, still just made it. However, they wanted to I got the cheese steak asked for no mushrooms, no jalapenos they charged me a dollar on to take a Mushroom off and another dollar to take the jalapenos off. Never seen it before. Nothing was seasoned, I would never go back there again. I have a paste here for the receipt. A hundred dollars for a cheese steak and chicken tenders and two drinks

Great hangout for food and to watch sports in Deep Creek. My group of 12 friends arrived and the food service was as expected for a group that large. The drinks service was very slow, however, and the restaurant wasn't very busy. The food itself was a good quality and the menu had an ample selection for everyone, including kids. None of the ketchup bottles on the tables were filled, so that was one criticism. The restaurant was filled with groups of friends, couples, individuals at the bar, and families, so I think it's safe to say that it's welcoming for everyone. I would recommend this location again.

The vibe of this place was pretty good and the staff was nice. The sports they were playing were reruns from the 90's so I wouldn't go here if you're expecting to watch current sport media. The burger patty was okay and obviously was frozen but the crab cake was one of the worst I have ever had. The crab was oversalted and bland to a point of not being edible.

Such a nice place to eat and not super expensive! The food was pretty good, as well as the service! It felt very welcoming and cozy! I would eat here again!

Good server, ok food, nice outdoor seating with live music the evening we went. Crab cakes were ok, the wings were better.

Went for Lunch. Decent food and quick service. Seemed like it would be a fun place when it's packed.

One waitress, one bartender. No soap in either restroom. Also no toilet paper in the women's restroom. Place is a dump.

When Handyside owned this place, it was clean, in the last couple years this place has declined in cleanliness!

Service was fairly prompt and knowledgable, our server did a great job of keeping our drinks filled and the food was brought out within a reasonable amount of time. The loaded baked potato was shameful, like 5 bacon bits and a very small amount of cheese is considered loaded apparently? The fries were good at first but by the end of the meal were rock hard and inedible. It was also interesting to have classical music playing while crazy train by ozzy in the background. this may be a restaurant choice but the bread was served without a side of butter or anything. The only redeeming part of my meal was when I got my check and wasn't given a pen, then asking another server for a pen, and hearing them say to my waiter "no won you haven't been getting tips, you haven't been giving them pens!" which made me laugh. but overall I payed $93 pre tip for poor quality food. would not eat here again.

A Hidden Gem Worth Leaving the Turnpike For! After making…read morethe drive between Northern Virginia and Ohio for more than 20 years, we couldn't believe we had never discovered Out of the Fire Café before. Anyone who regularly travels the Pennsylvania Turnpike knows how hard it is to find a truly memorable place to eat. This one is absolutely worth the short detour. The atmosphere is charming, the view is beautiful, and the food exceeded every expectation. We had to try their famous mushroom soup, and even though I'm not normally a mushroom fan, it was hands-down one of the best cups of soup I've ever had. The smoked salmon salad was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Filet Mignon Sandwich special, and every bite was packed with incredible flavor. Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made us feel right at home and added to what was already a wonderful dining experience. We finished with the Bananas Foster. While it wasn't the tableside flaming presentation you'd find at a fine-dining restaurant, the flavor was outstanding and the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. We'll definitely be making Out of the Fire Café a tradition on our future trips. If you're traveling the Pennsylvania Turnpike, do yourself a favor and make the stop--you won't regret it!

The mushroom soup was a big hit, as was the burger. Salads were fresh and portions were all generous. The only reason for reducing a star is service--our server was incredibly slow and nonchalant. We were there for a good 2 hours and all the folks around us finished way before us. Would go back if I'm in the area.
