Both were half & half orders for variety, which they had no problem fulfilling. From the outside you may not be able to tell, but there's plenty of space inside. SITREP 40 years ago - Back in High School and College - my posse had a wonderful hangout for afterschool munchies: Ledos Pizza in College Park, MD (the HOME of the University of Maryland)! Yummy and Memorable! THE SETUP Because of its wonderful vibe, delicious food & popularity, it franchised out to several different spots in the greater Metropolitan D.C. (District of Columbia)-area. Ironically, however, sadly, the ORIGINAL venue has since gone out of business, well.....not really OUT of business, so much as moved the greater bulk of the successful business enterprise into its more successful "children". Soooo this Ledos outlet in Owings Mill was where I found myself when I came into Baltimore. My high school sweetheart Betsy V. came and spent the day with me and we finished the evening here at Ledos. LE MENU We were hungry, so we orders a BUNCH of stuff to share: * The Chicken Soup starter was so warm on this cold evening * The fried Ravioli was crunchy and deLISH! * The Ledos vegetable pizza was GOOEY GOOOD! * The Lasagnas (we ordered TWO since our eyes were big) and were an incredible classic Italian signature! (There was enough leftovers from both that Betsy insisted I take the leftovers with me back to California - which I happily did by stashing the to-go plastic container in my carry-on suitcase!). AMBIANCE Betsy and I were there for three (3) hours (5pm-8pm) in a private alcove, because we just enjoyed some quiet conversation and a treasure of a time to catch up - in fact, the restaurant was quite empty this particular Friday - EXCEPT when there was a birthday party from 6pm-7:30pm for little girls that took up most of the central part of the dining room and really amped up the decibel levels! Today I stopped in 12-23-25 for the Tuesday $6 Calzone!. I called my order in first the guy was welcoming/friendly and patient! . I got the Meat Lovers as did my family, each extra topping is a dollar & you can swap out an ingredient for another at no charge which I thought was cool because where I am they charge! Smh... I go in and it's very cool in temp so you can sit in without being dumb hot!!!, the cashier and possibly manager was very friendly and helpful. Got home the calzone is cut/shaped differently, like The Crust is buttery and soft and they pack theirs with a generous amount of cheese & meats! I could honestly just eat the crust by itself it's soft to pull apart and dip in marinara. The Box was Ravens!! Which was awesome! To be different than other Ledos . Although, I have had Ledo pizza before, I've never been in the restaurant. I decided to try 1 of the lunch specials got the Honey Old Bay Wings and fries. I got to say, I wasn't impressed. The Wings were fried hard and the Old Bay must have been left at sea because it was only a hint detected. The fries were average. Now, even though the food is subpar the service was good. They do provide table service , but we went up to the carry to place our orders. I had a group of about 20 special needs students and 7 staff. Ok so I wasn't a fan but there were some bright spots. We ordered take out around 9pm. The food was ready within 15mins- pepperoni pizza (1/2 with pineapple topping), and hot wings. The pizza, cut into small squares, had a sweet sauce and oversized pepperoni. I didn't particularly like the sauce as I prefer a savory sauce and a better balance between sauce and cheese. Just moved to the area. LOVE this Ledo Pizza location. Super friendly when you call,pick up, and the food is great to boot! You can tell this place pays attention to detail. The cheesesteak was sideways to reduce soggy bread in the takeout package. Everything cooked perfectly. Other places give you a soggy chewy mess... Oh, and their pizza is cooked perfectly. Staff is very friendly and service was fast. We got 2 salads and the veggie were crisp and fresh. Pizza was good, sauce seemed a bit bland but overall decent and the small square pieces are great for portion control. The people who work there are very polite, patient, neat, and professional. If you eat there, you will enjoy it, since it's clean and spacious and has only booths for seating. As for the food, it's good but not excellent. However, it does match the price. It's not that expensive to get a meal for a whole family. I had the supreme pizza (I think they call it the Ledo special or something) and the Athena salad with gyro meat strips. I would say the salad was more memorable than the pizza. Can't go wrong with a classic Leto's pizza! My sis lives across the street from one in MD and that location never disappoints. The sauce is tangy and flavorful and it goes great with a cheese and spinach pie. I always get half spinach and classic cheese. It's always fresh and hot. I ordered online and when I arrived my half anchovies half pepperoni pizza was waiting for me. I enjoyed the pizza, although the yummy sweet sauce that I associate with their pizza style wasn't coming through like I wanted it to. Maybe it was my topping selection that confused my taste buds. They say you can't have it all! Ledo has the best pizza in town but, no delivery. Excellent food and even better service! Staff is very courteous, and even though they don't have wait-staff, the seating area is very well maintained and you can enjoy the food at ease and relax (pre Covid-19) I'm so glad they are operating during the pandemic and the customer service is still superb. I called my order in and 10 minutes later my pizza and wings were piping hot and ready. It's the little things in life you learn to appreciate. I have been here twice already. The first time I had the lasagna which was okay. It was not very well season and could have more flavor. The next time I ordered the margarita pizza. I was super excited Bc I adore the Ledos chain and this one is new so I thought they would hit it out the park but, I was wrong. 1st: the pizza was okay. Not the best that it could have been. 2nd: the employees seem very inexperience and unprofessional which is something I think will run this location down. I am lost for words what other reviewers see in this place. I recently went in and ordered take out. I had a hankering for pizza and thought I would give this place a try. I don't expect ever returning. The pizza was quite awful to be honest. They use canned mushrooms. The sauce lacked any seasonings from what I can tell. Maybe their other offerings are better, but this is the worst pizza I have had in years. As for the service, I thought it a little slow. The guy at the counter wasn't particularly helpful. So I was super excited coming here because growing up we had a Ledos near by and I loved their pizza so naturally when I saw signs that there was one close I got excited. My boyfriend and I went the other night and overall I was disappointed. Compared to the Ledos by my house, this one was less inviting and had many operational type issues. First of all where we sat down all of the overhead lights in the section directly adjacent to us were turned off. Not sure if they had just decided to close that section for the night but it made the lighting for our table very strange and direct. I then almost immediately noticed that we were listening to commercials on the radio and was a tad off put. I'd rather listen to nothing than be forced to listen to someone try to sell me a car while I'm eating. When the music came back on I personally though it was very inappropriate for a restaurant setting. They were playing Usher Nice and Slow remix where he proceeded to talk about getting freaky and drop a few words that sound too similar to the f-bomb. None of the other songs played that night were really any better. Not sure what pandora station they had on but please invest in XM radio or some appropriate CDs. Now operational issues aside, our waitress was great and super attentive. They were slow so she had no other tables but she was very nice and professional. She even split our large pizza order in half by the toppings we requested so my date and I had our own trays. She didn't have to do that but showed that she was really listening to us when we ordered. Was a nice surprise. The pizza tasted good but I think overall was overshadowed by the environment experience. Maybe il try take out at this location but probably won't be dinning in any time soon. read more

During lunch I hit up the Merritt lib gym and afterwards needed to take some food back to work. Stopped at Ledo's to get take out. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken salad to go. I waited for it and it didn't take much more than 10 mins to be done which is not bad at all. The atmosphere there was a typical pizza place with a nice casual bar. As far as my salad, The chicken was very good. Although the buffalo sauce was not mixed in and came on the side. This made it difficult to mix into the salad along with the blue cheese. Also wasn't given enough dressing so was eating dry lettuce at times. I would good back for sure. I would just know now what to ask for and how I want it, mixed in with a little bit more dressing. read more

Ledo pizza is always a favorite of mine so after taking my daughter and nephew to a movie in owings mills I stopped at this location. It was pretty crowded in the lot so it took a little while to find a parking spot. When we went in they had a few open tables. This location is the same as all others so you seat yourself. The dining area is a decent size and it was very clean. It took a surprisingly long time to have our order taken. After about ten minutes of watching waitresses walk past us one finally said they would be with us in a moment. Took about another ten minutes before we saw her again. By this time the kids were already impatient 4 and 6 year olds are notoriously impatient. So they were driving me crazy asking for pizza. I needed a beer at this point so it's nice that they have a bar. When the pizza finally came out it taste about as good as any other location. I would come back just not if I am in a rush. read more

Sooo disappointed! Ledo's has been a favorite with my family starting with the original place in College Park. Their unique square pizza, great sauce and excellent menu are the best. Unfortunately on our first visit to the Owings Mills New Town franchise we were extremely unhappy. We ordered 2 Veggie Calzones on their $5.00 Monday Special and an Italian salad to go. It's always been one of our favorite meals and have never been dissatisfied. These calzones were the worst! The bottoms were not fully cooked and stuck to the paper in the box. We literally had to scrape off the paper but I still got some in my mouth YUK! When I called to complain, I was told by Frankie the owner that "He didn't know what to do because he never had the problem before!" I was excited to have a Ledo Pizza come to Owings Mills. I have eaten at both the Pikesville and White Marsh locations. I have to say that I was disappointed with the pizza in the new location. I love the pizza crust so we ordered a deluxe pizza but the sauce was sweet. I am not a fan of sweet pizza sauce. In my opinion, it ruined the pizza.
