Ube cheese coffee, strawberry matcha latte
    Shirley L.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small place with a couple of tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good and knowledgeable. The coffee is good. I like how it's a little bitter and the foam makes the drink sweeter. It's a great balance. Can taste how strong the caffeine. However, was not a fan of the matcha. Didn't really taste the matcha.

Was going back and forth with myself for nearly an hour about where I should order a matcha from considering HTX has so many cafes its makes it hard to choose. Anyway, I couldn't make up my mind on if I wanted a banana pudding matcha or a strawberry one and when I saw they had to option for me to get both the decision became so much easier. I ordered a starbery matcha with banana pudding foam and I asked for light ice because I didn't want the latte to be watery when it reached me and it wasn't; it was packaged so well with a seal under the lid and was absolutely delicious. I'll be thinking about this latte all the way from Philly! Until next time

My GOAT. I got the coconut something latte and it was a good mix of flavor and coffee without being overly sweet, and not too much ice. A perfect combination.

I had been wanting to try Egg Coffee and was able to stop by one day. I read online that egg coffee tastes very similar to tiramisu. This description is very accurate. The drink was incredibly creamy, and the egg topping had a custard-like texture. I feel like this drink is a lot more like a dessert than your typical Vietnamese coffee though. Still, it was a nice treat and the coffee stayed strong / wasn't watered down even as the ice melted throughout the day. I look forward to coming back and trying their pandan or ube coffee.

Le Drip is one of the most legit and delicious Vietnamese coffee spots I've tried. The coffee here is seriously strong in the best way. Tried pretty much all types of flavor: egg, ube cheese, pandan and tbh they all have their unique taste. Can't decide which flavor is better LOL. I usually drink 4 shots with Starbucks cold brew iced coffee, and somehow Le Drip still tastes even stronger while keeping that really original Vietnamese coffee flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop also has a very cute setup and decoration.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the giant phin coffee display and the banana leaf tree decor -- it gives the place a fun and memorable touch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is not very big, and since I went on a Saturday, it was definitely busier than usual, but the overall vibe still felt warm and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you like bold, authentic Vietnamese coffee, this place is absolutely worth trying. Definitely one of my favorites.

Hands down the best Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte I've tried so far!! I got their large one for $6.95 plus tax and it was so tasty and fresh! I got their large Iced Peppermint Matcha Latte for the same price. It was good, but not as great as the strawberry one. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was pretty small, but looked really nice and aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly like before.

My friends spoke pretty highly of their matcha so I have been wanting to try. They have coffee, matcha, and tea options to pick from and the drinks came out super fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop is pretty small but is well decorated and has some seating![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our drinks were super sweet which I usually prefer but we felt like we could not taste the matcha. The milk and syrups seemed to have overpowered the matcha taste. My other friend ordered their black sugar viet coffee which was really strong but very good.

I ordered three Coconut Lattes in the same size with the same "less ice" customization, but they came out with noticeably different fill levels. One cup was clearly lower than the other, even though they were supposed to be prepared the same way. On top of that, the espresso tasted very weak and bland, almost like there wasn't enough coffee in the drink. Overall, it lacked the rich coffee flavor I was expecting. Disappointing experience, especially for the price. I hope they can improve their consistency and quality control.

Stopped by the area pretty early on a Friday morning and really needed some coffee that isn't Starbucks. Decided to give this place a try and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and very patient with my questions about the menu items. I ended up ordering a banana coffee , which is banana cheese foam(?) over cafe su da-definitely gave me some needed caffeine boost. They also had a steam meat bun available so I ordered that as breakfast, also pretty good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were not a lot of space if you need to work out of there but there are a few tables with outlet access.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was able to grab an inside table since I was there early and did what I needed. Will return.

I was working nearby and wanted to work and connect my laptop to Wi-F. The attendant was friendly. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. It was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is not much place to sit down. There are orobably three small tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is more for carry out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bathroom is in a connecting business.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music was too loud for being a coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Mimi T.

I finally got to try this place with two friends. It was steadily busy for a Thursday late morning. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sitting area is limited.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the Pandan Bac Siu, egg coffee, Viet Coffee & bun bao. The staff were friendly and the drinks/food came out quickly! I like their caffeinated society cups with the cute nutritions label. We loved the Pandan coffee the most and my friend downed his viet coffee before we even left the cafe. The egg coffee was delicious and had a strong, bold flavor! The bun bao was perfectly warm and the meat filling was fresh and balanced well with the bao. I will definitely be back!

Came here through a friend's recommendation and it was amazing!! The Viet Coffee is delicious!! It's sweet like all viet coffees and has tasty bitter coffee taste. The viet coffee was so good we came back another day! Customer service was excellent! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There were indoor seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nicely decorated inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I would highly recommend this place for viet coffee!

Got the Vietnamese coffee here and it was so good, I came back another time, later in the week. It's a solid choice that offers a good balance between sweet and strong.

Best egg coffee in Houston. Comprable to k town spots in LA. Relatively affordable, can adjust sweetness, and it's fast.

Traffic to get in and out is horrible! Parking is a struggle on busy days. Fortunately, once you park here, you can pretty much grab some drinks, baked goods, play claw machines, go grocery shopping, etc. Trung Nguyen serves espressos, matcha, phin coffee, phin drips, teas, and white coffee (lighter version). Toppings are $1-$1.50 and includes grass jelly, coffee jelly, cream, single shot, or extra matcha. I've tried their egg coffee, coconut coffee, ube coffee, pandan coffee, and black sesame. Although I love all of them, my current fav is the black sesame! YUM!! I've yet to try their matcha and teas, but Trung Nguyen is always on our list whenever we're in town- so I will for sure try their other drinks at one point or another. Viet coffee is everywhere in Houston (and I love that). With Trung Nguyen, your drinks are consistent, and you can always count on getting the strongest coffee (not watered down) whenever you get their coffee.

I love their app, highly recommend it to pre-order through the app, it's extremely accurate in term of wait time and easy to use. However, there are a couple of downsides: their matcha is just average, their menu is a bit limited, and my favorite drinks are frustratingly often out of stock or out of season. My top recommendations are the Coconut Mango Boom, Cloud Jasmine Tea (basic but so good), Yuzu Oolong Tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Mochi Yingde Black Milk Tea, Grapefruit Boom and the toasty/wheat-y Longji Cloud Milk Tea.

We tried the highly recommended mango boom and the yuzu green tea, which were both solid choices. I downloaded the app and was able to place my order from there by-passing the long line at the counter. However, it still took a significant amount of wait time for my order number to be called to pick up my drinks. The app had some deals that discounted my order, which was a plus. Not sure if I'd go out of my way to return, but if it comes up as a suggested place, I wouldn't pass it up.

The inside is mostly white and going for that IG "it spot" vibe. Most people were ordering their drinks that come with a little slice of tiramisu, but we were there to try just the latter! The tiramisu varieties aren't all truly tiramisu (which traditionally has espresso and alcohol), but they're called tiramisu because there are cookies or ladyfingers layered with their mascarpone cream. I tried the Biscoff Tiramisu-- while they could work on their presentation (the filling looked messy and slapped on), the taste was quite nice! Sweet, creamy, and the mascarpone filling was light and not too heavy despite being sweet and indulgent. I'm excited to try the other tiramisu varieties :D I like how the tiramisu comes in its own container instead of scooped into a takeout box because it's a lot less messy + prettier when eating it. Service was really friendly and there is self-serve water available too. Lots of tables for two but they were all taken during my visit. There's a little table outside in the shade if you're willing to sit in the heat. Overall, 4.5 stars for the tiramisu-- will be back to try some more! So glad to hear that one recently opened up in Houston. Would LOVE to take my cousins here one day…read more Environment/Atmosphere - Super crowded when we got here, but the lines moved fast, and there was a kiosk to self-order if you didn't want to wait in line for the cashier. One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat.
