Picked up cheese burgers with onion rings yesterday. Guy at the window was friendly and recommended the meal to save a bit. Burgers were very very good with soft buns that had been nicely grilled for a bit of crunch. The tomatoes were mealy and only ding to an otherwise perfect burger. This is basically our main stop for our family for dinner in the Barrington area. Cozy's and Dante's are both amazing but Lee Circle is our staple because of the giant menu with healthier options like a fantastic Buffalo chicken finger salad but also really tasty steak and cheese subs and cheeseburgers / onion rings. Don't let the trailer in a parking lot in between a mini plaza and an old antique store fool you...the owner Bobby's got a gem of a take out place with LCG on Wheels. People rave about the burgers, fries and onion rings. I always get the fried haddock (which is local) that comes with deicous house-made tartar (ask for extra). I would have never considered ordering fish and chips from a roadside trailer, but it is so good! Husband always gets the steak and cheese subs - he says they're the best in the area. Side order of hand-cut fries is huge and easily feeds 3, but us 2 can scarf them up pretty quickly ourselves as long as we share a few with the pooch. Bobby is always giving back to the community and each month supports a different local charity. He remembers his customers and your "usual" orders. Food from a truck... Amazing!! Super fresh seafood - I had the 2-way Combo of shrimp & Haddock, and the husband had a tasty hot dog. Both dishes were prepared flawlessly. The homemade tarter sauce was wicked good!! And my husband hates everything from the sea, and his fries were gone before I finished my shrimp, so I know they cooked them separately - and they were great too! Even fresh brewed sweet tea. Ok. I guess I am the idiot for thinking the trailer across from the Market Basket in Lee would actually have the best burgers ever. It's about the same quality as Wendy's, but more expensive. However, my wife ordered the chowder, and it was virtually inedible. Overcooked mushy potatoes and not a clam to be found in the whole cup. You can do better than this at many places nearby. Brought back a memory of going to a deli with my mom when I was a kid, and they let you pick out a cut of meat and then wait while they ran it through the grinder right there where you could see. nothing compares to this. Not giving a 5 because I went there a few days before to get a breakfast sandwich and even though it was way after the time their website said they opened, they said they weren't -- kind of rude. The other reason is the lettuce they put on my otherwise great burger was an outside piece of WHITE Iceburg lettuce that had ZERO flavor and I couldn't help but think if you are going to serve a special hamburger, make sure everything that goes on it is special too. Hubby and I have lived in Lee longer than we care to admit, and long enough to brag that we frequented the Lee Circle Grocery, before the Wheels were invented (oops, sorry, pardon the pun). We crave their Haddock Dinners, and even tried their Lobster Roll, recently. We are never disappointed either by the food OR the service, because they know us and we know them. LCG has been around for a few years, and they remain one of the best little places to grab a bite to eat in Lee! The burgers are tasty, but I'm personally a massive fan of the seafood... The shrimp po'boy in particular is super tasty, and always satisfying. Waiting outside for the food can be rough in winter, but they'll wave you over if you want to wait in your car, so it's not the worst thing on Earth. Give it a try! read more

The original business is gone. There's a Walgreen's in that spot now but the same folks who used to run it now run a small take out joint just a few hundred yards up the highway. They are running it out of a trailer, you can eat in your car, carry your food home or sit at one of the picnic tables. We had burgers there today and they were yummy.
