I had a pedicure and manicure done the last week in June. I had Shellac on the toenails, and dipped polish on the fingernails. They were both great. I especially like that the pedicure basins are lined with disposable plastic befor filling, and NEW scrubbing (disposable) tools are used for each pedicure. I had a long soak, which is great for my toughened feet. After having my fingernail polish for nearly 6 weeks, I returned for another dipped polish manicure. Again, different manicurist but wonderful result. The dipped polish provides strength to my nails. They have never been longer or stronger. I have received compliments on both polishes. The owner, Tony, speaks fluent English. Any communication problems could be easily settled by asking for him. He is a good manicurist, too. I will continue coming here for great nails! While it may take a bit of a wait (no appointments), they are eager to take you as quickly as possible. P.S. My friend has come here for the dipped manicure for some time, and recommended it to me. I have spent thousands of dollars here over the years in this salon but never again. To be honest, nail quality is fairly good though very inconsistent...then why am I not going back? Staff is rude, it's obvious even though they speak Vietnamese 100% of the time. Have you ever wondered what they are saying or if they are talking smack about customers? Well, do not wonder any more. They absolutely do. They make unkind comments and laugh amongst themselves even while they put their hand out for the dollars.They need to appreciate some of the customers may in fact speak their language and can share the bad behavior with others. Everyone in there is pretty much nice and do good work 9/10 of the time but the lady that sits off to herself to far right is the one not to go to! Her whole attitude stinks and all she does is yap yap yap as she's scraping your skin or nicking you with filer and then have the nerves to tell you to relax! I've been a customer for 5 years and my last visit was yesterday, 5/1/2026!!!! When I walked in I was the only person next for service! When far right got done I thought she was telling me I was next but as I motioned to her chair she said no no I got another customer who was currently shopping in Meijers! When lady came in she had to soak her nails so she brung me to her chair and started taking off my old color! Lady soaked for 5 minutes and said she was done, so far right told me to take a sit by windows and wait for her! As I was waiting others was getting done and taking customers that came in way after I did as I sat there for over an hour waiting on her! It took everything in me not to get up and leave! She finally get me back in chair and color I requested was not even close but she assured me that it will lighten after she applied glitter! NOPE IT DIDNT! I wanted a more pink color and what I got was purple! I was majorly agitated and was ready to just leave! On a whim I went here after shopping. Never again. An unfriendly and inept male did my nails. Woman at desk was rude and mouthy and stood over the man doing my nails the whole time. He cut me three times and never offered to clean the blood. My nails were all different sizes and shapes. I was afraid the woman would abuse him so I paid the bill. Meijer needs to close them down. I recently had my nails done at Lee Nails located in Meijer Store. The woman who had serviced me acted like she did not know English. I was suppose to spend $25.00 on my nails but she would ask me a question I didn't understand so I tried to be polite and just nodded. Before I could say anything she added stones to my nail and then in clear English she said $40.00 for the added on stones. I then left but went back to complain about the service. The owner stated this was not the only complaint that worker had received so he removed the stones from my nails and offered me $10.00 back. I was too upset I just left. Why keep a worker that continues to get complaints? I've learned the old saying "Buyer beware!" so I'm passing it along. I wish I would of stopped payment on my card but it's too late now. read more

Went here because I got my nails done about a week ago and absolutely hated them. I was out in the area and tried this place out. It was so great. Tony is a must. He took off my acrylics, put a whole new set on and accomplished all of my request perfectly such as the picture I showed him, I asked for thinner more real looking nails and he did that perfectly, and the length, coffin shape, and the symmetry was perfect! I have been to the salon approximately five times the first three times I got a pedicure I believe it was by one of the male owners. Did a great job. Came back the fourth time the guy was a little overzealous didn't do a great job painting them. The fifth time one of the ladies did a pedicure on me and it took her less than 15 minutes she barely all she did was put lotion on my legs she didn't even massage them she didn't really get the dead skin off of my feet she did a wham bam thank you ma'am job super quick. Slapped my polish on didn't do a great job of that either didn't trim all of my nails. Then I noticed soon as she was done with me she ran over and sat down and did a customer that walked in to have her nails done. She knew she had a customer coming in so she rushed me I would have rather waited the 15 minutes for somebody else to have taken me. This place has some rude workers. And they offer services that they are not good at. My bff got the lady worker who pretends she doesn't know English. She wanted shellac with fake nails, and the lady gave her the shellac by itself instead of adding the fake nails because it was 35$ and not 45$. They even asked me 4 different times was I sure it would be 50 for just my hands for the color and pattern I asked for. Each time I said yes. I wouldn't even give this place a star!! my daughter and I had our nails done on October 30th 2021 and she got shellac which they did not buff her nails or anything they just painted them so of course hers popped right off so I called to tell them November 2nd 2021 they said bring her back in no problem. I got there November 4th 2021 and they started to fix her nails. Then this guy named Tony came out from the back told me there will b a $15 charge I said for what exactly he said having to redo all her nails which was bs but I said ok whatever. Then I asked for them to give her a pedicure and they soaked her feet and did nothing but paint her toes!!! Tony told me $25 total I said for both he said yes $25 total. I was pissed so I left upset and just had them run my card. I got onliine Bcuz I wanted to check something on my card and they freaking charged me $45!! I called to ask why they would tell me $25 then charge my card $45 and he said because we did a pedicure and all her nails were painted I said no tony (the only one who can speak english) told me $25 total. Absolutely unacceptable, bad service I had a gentleman remove skin off of my feet when I left my feet were bleeding I had to go to urgent care to be put on anabiotic's because I am a professional and I know the diseases that can be transmitted from dirty tools this is a dirty location and no one will do anything about the fact that no one in this location is licensed through the state of Michigan to provide any of the services they offer it's absolutely unacceptable do not go there do not waste your money go anywhere else. read more

The person that did my nails, was a speed demon. She had the heater set on high and I have never had to heat my nails to get them to dry. She had the grinder bit bit spinning so fast she kept loosing grip on my fingers and kept hitting the pad of my fingers with the grinder, she then made two of my fingers bleed because she was using the bit to clean up my cuticles. My left hand is nice and well rounded tips. My right hand is square, no shaping at all. She had Shellac on the pads of my fingers, and she had to redo my right thumb because she was putting on the shellac to fast and not letting them sit under the light ling enough, she shellac slide all to one side. Today I am still picking top coat from my cuticles and my finder pads are sore where she was hitting them with the grinder and my fingers are tender where she made them bleed. They are in to big of a Rush to be concerned with a quality Job and the customers happiness. read more

Went in for a pedicure and shellac manicure. They were supposed to open at 11 am and the employees didn't even show up until 11:30. There were five of us waiting outside the door. The guy doing the pedicure barely touched my feet to remove the dry skin. I had to ask him 4 times to remove the dry skin. The pedicure was less than 30 minutes, my feet still had a lot of dry skin and the polish job looked like a 5 year old did it. When it came to the shellac manicure, I had to ask him 3 times for an actual manicure. He was just going to do a polish change. Finally, he said "oh you wanted a manicure too?". He didn't even push my cuticles back. The shellac started to chip within 4 days of having the shellac applied. I won't be returning. read more

Been a loyal customer for iver a year every 2 weeks. When my shellac was ruined i went to get it fixed. The so called owner named Tony told me he had to fix them or i had to pay. Made me wait over an hour while he took care of 5 other clients and then had a different employee do mine so he lied to my face. Then told me that my shellac was ruined and that was my fault so he wint fix my nails again. I will never step foot in another lee nails and i will be talking to the real owner and the woman who originally did them and let her know her boss blamed everything on her and lied about their policy so thats why shes losing a very well tipping weekly client. Im absolutely appalled by their service and how they treated me. Not to mention my nail "fix" looks worse then when i got there with ruined shallec that wasnt even 2 days old.
