Being new to the area, I had my first pedicure here based on reviews from one of the LaGrange Facebook pages that I am on. PROS.... walked in and was seen right away. Salon was clean & inviting. Nice selection of colors to choose from. CONS.... Although my nail technician was friendly, she was trying to push me on the $65 King pedicure. I was originally going to do the $50 pedicure and decided to go with the $55 pedi. I enjoyed the ocean scent & neck warmer but was super disappointed by the leg & hot stone massage (or should I say lack of.) There was another customer who came in shortly after I did getting a lesser pedi and ended right before me. I expected a lengthy massage considering the amount of money that I spent. The expression, "You get what you pay for," was not applicable in my case. Lyn was highly recommended. I will give her a try on my next visit. read more

Walked in on a Friday and got a pedicure that took an hour! But this was the best hour ever! They were so meticulous my skin literally glows from all the hard work. My nail tech was so nice and took the time to make sure I was well taken care of. My daughter was also with me and had her first manicure ever and the gentleman that did it was so nice to her and did a great job. He even offered to add sparkles on top! While the ambiance may be nice, this is an establishment I cannot return to again. I have given several chances to this place. I made an appointment for 4pm and arrived on time. I sat with my feet in the water for roughly 45 minutes waiting for my pedicure to begin. I had to correct the woman doing my feet several times and was still ignored. At the end of my pedicure, polish was all over my skin and my big toe on my left foot wasn't even the same shape as the rest of my toes. When it came to my nails, I was not soaked off until after the pedicure was complete (~6pm) and watched several other clients be serviced fully. Once I was finally serviced and paid, it was a little after 9:10pm. I had to cancel my plans for the evening because I was so upset. I was told to come back at 1pm today (NYE) to have my feet corrected. I arrived at 12:50 and am still waiting to have the issue corrected. I was told she had to "fix" someone else's nails only to see that she is doing a full set on the person. It is NYE and I have several errands to run before my event this evening. I'm now an hour behind schedule. Just sharing my experience. read more

Five days ago went for a mani pedi and I've been here before and have been extremely happy with the service! The gentleman who may be the owner? Was prepping my feet for my pedicure and he was not paying attention to what he was doing, answering the phone, looking at the door, and at his other staff members. He was scrubbing my feet with a loofah sponge thingy and literally scrubbed the skin off the side of my toe! When I pointed this out he didn't even seem that apologetic. Another nail tech who finished my pedicure put a band aid on it. It's a bummer because I like this place but probably won't go back. My toe is still sore almost a week later! read more

Luv Nails has had a post-pandemic glow up! I hadn't gone there in years & just recently went back. The salon is so nice! They have redecorated, they have literally every single nail color you would want or need, there are numerous nail techs so walk ins don't wait too long. They use a Venmo or cash app payment system, which is great! I highly recommend this establishment. I do suggest, that if possible, make an appointment. Not worth the money or the long time it took to get them done. I asked for dip and she put layers of no-chip polish on at the end. A few hours later, the top coat has started rubbing off and leaving a weird texture that I can't fix. Could have done it better myself. read more

Poor service, I called to see if I can have a pedi done and while speaking to him on the phone he says to come in and when I get there he tells me he has no time. All he did was waste my time in going when I could have just gone somewhere else if he would have just said that he had no time over the phone. I've been going to this location every three weeks for over three years. I'm so disappointed that they are now under new ownership (third ownership in three years....). Since the new ownership I have had horrible experience at the salon. My first scheduled appointment I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to be seen. I had scheduled it for 10:30 am days prior, only to discover when I arrived that they didn't even open until 11. Second appointment I had to wait 25 minutes to be seen. The technician was super rough and what normally takes 45 minutes tops with old owner took almost an hour and a half to complete service which looked horrible. No chip fill was splotchy and had bubbles everywhere. Never going back. read more

My nails werent filed the greatest, you can see how its all messed up cause they were cured enough and only 2 coats which didnt leave the polish opaque. The cheapest low quality service around! I went in for the basic pedicure, the lady cut my toenails too short without asking and then left my nails on the other foot too long. She barely scrubbed my feet. Very little product was used for the entire service. She applied 1 coat of polish horribly and then said she was done. I had to ask if she thought it looked good to her. 1 coat is not enough. So cheap! Don't be fooled by the prime location. This place is cheap with horrible service. I can't believe I've never reviewed Luv Nails! I've been here a few times, most recently the day before my wedding. I easily booked an appt (messaging through the yelp app, actually!) and they were well staffed to cover the 4 in my group when we got there. I brought a pinterest photo of the no chip manicure I wanted and it was executed to perfection- a light color with a drizzled silver glitter effect on the top. My sister wanted to copy the same manicure with a different technician and the results were not quite as great, but still nice. Everyone enjoyed their pedicures here too. Prices are reasonable/on point with the competition. The no chip I got was seriously bonded on my nails (a good thing!), I just wasn't used to having such long glam nails and definitely tore up my nails when I tried to pick off the polish (gross and bad of me, I know!). I've been going to Luv Nails for about a year, and I love my experience every single time. All the women there are so sweet and always remember the small talk from the previous time which I really appreciate. Who doesn't like being a regular somewhere?! One time they were so busy that they couldn't get me in until 7:30 (the time they close), and they stayed until almost 9:00 to finish my nails! Most importantly, my nails continue to turn out great! I won't ever be back. I called the day before to schedule an appointment for my aunt, my daughter and I and when we showed up, every tech in the house was busy and there were people waiting as well. They said there would be a 15-minute delay. 30 minutes later I am still waiting and the just started on my aunt and daughter. We have plans after this and even though I planned ample time between activities, we will either be late or not be able to make our next appointment at all. I know nail places take walk-ins, but if someone calls to make an appointment, the salon should either say they don't take appointments and it's walk-in only, or prioritize the people who made appointments and don't make them wait until after the walk-ins are taken care of. If you have tons of leisure time and don't mind sitting around a noisy salon for over an hour, this is your place. If you want to go to someone who respects you and your time, keep looking. read more

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews for this place! I came here on a whim because my acrylics were coming off and my usual nail tech from Magic Nails is on maternity leave. That being said, I decided a manicure was the way to go (how hard is it to screw up a manicure?). I also decided I wanted to try dip nails for the first time. This place only charges $40 to do them and I've heard so many good things about the dip nails VS acrylic or gels. I had a really nice experience here! From scheduling my appointment to walking out the door, I really have no complaints (other than this place is on LaGrange road in downtown LaGrange, so parking is a pain in the butt). Forget about the snotty, soup Nazi female, new manager, my dip powder manicure, was bumpy, covered past my cuticles and lifted in 7 days.
