Today I visited the salon where I always do a manicure when I visit Chicago! arrived in half an hour and appointed the time came a little later! in my place was already taken, as there was no administrator, and a certain manicurist sitting at the entrance with the name Tiffany said that I was late, asking her how long I still had to wait, she told me to choose a color without answering the question, continuing do another girl a manicure! when I asked her again how much I need to wait, since I don't have extra time, she just brazenly pissed, saying that I can go anywhere, and I have to wait a long time !!! all the clients sitting in the cabin were shocked, including myself !!! I am a very generous client to tip, I like the master whom I visit, but after such rudeness, I no longer want to come here !!! I really hope that the salon management will pay attention to this Tiffany, and at least send her to the courses on communication with customers !!!! I would not want to see her again, having come to the salon, as a person who is represented by the manager and behaves so not competently should the client be fired for such behavior !!! Even a good manicure, in the presence of rudeness, will incur a loss to this institution !!! read more

I have consistently come to this salon since Tiffany took over as manager. She and Na are amazing. They are perfectionists and really committed to making sure you walk out happy. The atmosphere is relaxed and everyone who works there is happy. That translates into good service. I really wouldn't -- and don't -- do anywhere else. As a bonus, if you are feeling feisty, Tiffany and Na both do really exquisite little designs on finger or toe nails. I recommend with as many stars as they will let me have. read more

I walked in and just felt a "difference" in decor and in demeanor. There was music playing from the mix and everyone greeted with a smile. I had Bobby and he gave me a fabulous pedicure!! He was polite, asked for my name so that he could reference it later. I normally don't "upgrade" but today I went for the luxury pedicure ($7 more) and worth every penny. Great massage and he took his time. Highly recommend! Also - it was great that there were a bunch of regulars in there when I was there. The staff new all of them by name and even their likes and dislikes. I am not one to read bad Yelp reviews and go base on an opinion of what someone encountered. Half of the time people write bad reviews and exaggerate. To the point where perhaps, they were already having a bad day to begin with. I like to go off of positive reviews because 9 times out of 10 that's a daily routine. I swear if I ever move, I will still come to this establishment. The attentiveness, detail, how courteous they are and just the way they all make you feel like family is more than why i continue to be a customer. The techs are all friendly and they have conversations with you. They ask about your family or how your day went. Owner is rude and ignorant , I seen they had nice reviews so I called because recently I had gotten a fill in done somewhere else but I ended up breaking a nail so all I needed done was a polish change and a nail repair. I tried to book an appointment because I don't have time to sit and wait. She told me I couldn't make an appointment because it's less than 15$ which makes no sense to me. She told me that she would try her best to fit me in so I wouldn't have to wait.So I came to the shop and was picking out my color, not that this is important but I noticed I was the only colored person in the salon. And I think thats why she kept staring at me and didn't even bother to greet me at all or ask what service I needed done! But when a Caucasian lady comes in she was all warm and welcoming. So I decided to ask a nail tech myself how long the wait was and the owner finally speaks and says 20 minutes. Unprofessional arrogant people here. I just went to Lee nails in Rosemont for a pedicure. After soaking my feet, I cut my own corners. I have to do this because I get ingrown nails and they have to be cut with special curved scissors. I have been doing this my entire adult life. My regular nail tech is OK with it but she is out of the country. The manager walked up to me and said that I had cut my own skin and I was bleeding and that they could not finish. She then asked me to leave. The worst part is that I was not bleeding. She spoke loudly and was extremely rude. She made a big fuzz and basically kicked me out. I walked out in tears. I have never been treated like that anywhere. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even when you are desperate for a pedicure. Worst experience ever! read more

Worst nail salon I've ever been to. Over priced. Way too crowed, the women painting my nails had absolutely no idea what she was doing. My nails chipped after an hour of getting them done! I came back and demanded a refund and the manger refused and said if you don't want it to chip get a no chip manicure! Most workers are rude and take forever. This was the worst experience I have had with a nail salon. The communication was extremely poor. I went in to get my acrylics filled. The lady working started to tell me some of them had to be replaced and then stared ripping off my nails without telling me she was doing so. She wanted to remove them all and charge me for a new set. I left with three nails gone after she told me about the extra charges and ended up getting them filled and the three nails replaced somewhere else. After two weeks the old nails were still on, there was no reason for them to be taken off. Very disappointed. read more

I drive from the city just to see Tiffany! She does amazing nail designs and gives a great pedicure! If you have ingrown toe nails she is an expert at cutting them out. It is very clean inside and I have watched them clean the pedicure baths throughly. They also sanitize the tools prior to using them. I would recommend this place! read more

My no chip manicures look good for at least 2 weeks; they get very close to the cuticle without getting any color outside of the nail. Also, they are very quick. Great salon. Very clean and all equipment used is sterile and removed from the package in front of you. The technicians are all very friendly. They will get you in in a moments notice or within 30 minutes. Bruce and Tim are excellent techs and they give the best pedis. Tiffany does my fills and manicures. On Tuesday September 26th I went to the Lee Nail Salonto have pedicure and manicure done and wax eyebrows which were suppose to be free as it was stated on the back of their business card where it says that the 10th service is free and you can choose between wax eyebrow or design. Not to mention that my 10th service was last time I went there but the girl named NA said that free eyebrow wax I will have it next time when I come in and do my nails. I thought ok - whatever - I'm not gonna fight over it so I paid and left but when I came in this Tuesday to have my nails done and get that free eyebrow wax (10th) I was paying the same girl - NA said exactly the same thing she said last time "free eyebrow wax or design you can use next time" and I told her no and that she said the same thing last time but she was insisting that whatever she was saying was correct and true and she put in the stamp box date of 9/25 where it clearly says "free eyebrows or design" and with the smile on her face she said she is sorry for the misunderstanding. According to me it wasn't misunderstanding but making idiots out of people. If in this salon that's the way they treat clients than I'm done with the service they provide. They have window poster hang up when you come in that says IF YOU GIVE US AN EXCELLENT REVIEW than you will get a 5$ discount when paying for the service which tells you what kind of salon they are - they should be getting reviews based on their work and salon atmosphere rather than making people write reviews so they can get discount not the other way around. read more

I've been a customer for 3 years and I drive 45 minutes to go there. They've always taken the last person at 7:30PM. I walked in tonight to be told they're "closed" at 7:20PM. When i questioned it, they could not give me an answer as to why and I was turned away anyway after explaining all of the above to them.
