I have been coming here every 3 weeks for a while now. Everyone is very professional. Tiffany is a great nail technician and always does such a wonderful job on my dip manicures. I ask her opinion on what color to go with and what special design to do, and she always comes up with a good design fit to the time of the year. If I could give this salon zero stars I definitely would about two years ago my mother and I went to go get her nails done in our nails came out so bulky we told them to make it thinner and they refused I told them I wanted coffin shape and they gave me Square my mom said she wanted almond shaped she also got a square the color we wanted was not the one that was painted on her nails and she refused to admit that it was not the same color we wanted a glossy bright red and she gave us a matte maroon color second time I went was a couple months ago this time they didn't do as terrible of a job still was bulky and any designs that I asked for which were basic designs they said they couldn't do it like you can't do a French tip which I'm pretty sure they can and then I kept hearing the lady who was doing my nails talking to everybody and screaming at them and I'm pretty sure there was a point where she was talking crap about us I had a important call that I had to answer but when I tried to get my phone that was not being worked on she slapped my hand and pulled it back in and every time we go there it costs us more and more for no reason when we get the same thing done as always I do not recommend this place at all. Also not to mention that there was nail clippings of the previous customers on the table and there was bugs on the floor and none of that item she use on my hand were clean. Oh again forgot to say that she was filing down my natural nail to the point where I told her that I hurt and she should stop but she continued and after two weeks for my nails just fell out when I fell out it just broke and peeled off when I looked under my nail that was hurting the whole time my nail had turned black read more

NOOO! Stay away! I went here with a friend last week (her choice.) I'm very particular of where I get my nails done, I want to make sure it's clean. The easiest way to organize this train wreck of a salon is with a list. 1. They nickel and dime you here! I must have been asked 10+ times during my mani/pedi for add on services. Not relaxing at all. When we walked in, they asked if we wanted to upgrade our pedicures (extra massage, scrub, etc. for $7 more) We agreed, but received no special treatment. It was a very standard pedicure. They asked about 10 times if I wanted no chip for an additional whatever amount; I continued to tell them no as I don't really like no chip. They suggested to my friend that she get some flowers on her toes. (For an additional and hidden $10.) They continued to pressure me also to get flowers. I continued to tell them no, I don't like it. They also wanted me to get my eyebrows done, and told me how much I needed it. Excuse me, I know my eyebrows need to be done, but I have a lovely person who I always go to. Also, the pot of wax here looked disgusting. They are so rude and I just wanted to left alone. 2. This salon is so dirty!!! I'm lucky I don't have a fungus so far. I didn't see them sterilize any of their tools. During my pedicure, they ripped some skin out and made me bleed. Then used the same tool on my friend. Are you serious? I may report them to health services. 3. The manicurists here are so unprofessional. The bottom of my feet are extremely ticklish and its hard for me to sit still while they use the pumice stone. The technician asked me if I was ticklish, and I said yes. Then she said, "Are you ticklish in other places? ;)" WHAT!!!!!! I didn't respond and then she said to her coworker, "She must be shy." I couldn't even believe it. On top of everything my manicure chipped within 24 hours. Please, please don't ever go here. You'll be treated like you're at a car dealership, may contract an infection, and if you're lucky you may get sexually harassed. read more

I've been going to Lee Nail Salon a little over a year now. My nail tech Lisa does FABULOUS work as well as Tiffany!! Lisa worked at a different salon in Chicago and I followed her to Lee Nails when she left....she has been doing my nails now for 7 years and I am always very pleased with her work. I'm a diabetic, and she takes the time to remove my ingrown toenails, which could lead to infection if not properly taken care of. I trust her over my own podiatrist..AND my toes and feet look beautiful afterwards. She also does a beautiful job on my manicures... The no chip polish lasts for almost 4 weeks!!! After waiting quite awhile (I admit, I didn't have an appointment), I was assigned a sort of creepy looking man with very long nails to do my mani pedi. The pedi was okay - looks nice enough. The manicure was pretty terrible. The polish is not even, its messy, and every single nail is all bubbly and my light pink polish looks dirty a near 3 hours later. Maybe the owner does a nice job, but this manicure was definitely bad. Also, both the mani and pedi took forever to dry which is not the case with other places I go to. I wanted to like this place since its close to home and well rated here, but I definitely wouldn't go back to that guy. read more

I went there today during lunch. If your priority is speed then this is the place to go. If your priority is care and hygiene this is NOT the place to go. I was in and out in an hour with a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. Unfortunately my pedicurist was brusque, uncommunicative and rough with the way she handled my feet. She was so busy talking to her neighbor that she managed to snap off my anklet during the massage. I had had that anklet for 13 years and it was a DOUBLE strand so she was just cruising without paying attention. The most cleanup on her instruments that I saw her do was squirt some alcohol on the nippers and the cuticle stick. For the eyebrow wax I had a different girl who was much nicer and much gentler. Unfortunately the waxing station was gross. They double dip their sticks and blow on the wax to cool it. Both are great ways to cross contaminate your customers. BUT the pedicure looks good so I should forgive them because its much better to look good than to feel good right? They need a health department visit. read more

FILTHY DIRTY! MULTIPLE HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS. I was in there for an hour. I witnessed tools being used between clients without so much as a wipe or rinse, let alone sterilization. When a client complained, they simply ignored her. The staff is rude and arrogant. They are also highly irresponsible, completely ignoring the FACT that they are exposing their customers to HIV, MRSA, Hepititis, and other blood-borne pathogens. Apparently, their bottom line is more important than exposing people to infectious diseases. They don't even rinse the pedicure basins between clients, let alone cleanse them. One must assume that turnover is their prime motivation. If they don't stop to clean the cheese grater type implement they use to scrape people's feet, then they can more quickly get the next victim in the pedicure chair. It's appalling! When I asked my nail tech why she didn't answer the lady who had expressed concern over health code violations, she said, "They no inspect. No problems." If she is correct, and she must be by the looks of the place and their practices, then it's up to the consumer to avoid this cesspool at all costs. The place isn't cheap. For the same cost you can go to a sanitary salon or spa. GO HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! One last note - forget the sanitation violations. The work is shoddy, at best. My nail tech cut my toenails way too short and the full set she did looks like a beauty school student did them - a blind student. It's been less than 48 hours and they are already lifting. read more

Service is terrible... Someone came in after me and she did not have an appointment. I was already sitting in the chair, and instead of the lady doing my toes she did the girl who just walked in. This is the third time it has happen. I thought it was just because it was busy the other times, but there was no one in there. Then the girl asked me when I was paying do I have any cash for her. I've lived behind the building for 4 years and never been. The reviews have not always been great. I was in real need and so the guy and I both decided to get pedicures. We had Terri and Lynn. They were funny and professional and talented. They never tried to up sell us on the services but we upgraded anyway. My guy really enjoyed the upgraded pedicure because of the massage. I could probably be fine next time w the basic. It was my first gel manicure and I'm in love. Our luxury pedicures cost $32 each and my gel mani was $32. Terri told me a regular mani would've been $12. We walked in on a rainy Saturday and waited about 30 minutes. Great way to spend that rainy afternoon. Will be back. read more

My hands/nails are always in professional wedding photos so it's really important to me that I'm always well groomed. I've been coming to Lee nails every 2 weeks for almost 4 months now, and I'm always happy when I leave! I've been seeing Lisa for pedicures and powder dip manicures, and she does an amazing job each time. The first time I saw her, I asked about the powder dip manicure vs. my regular no chip manicure, and she thought I should try it because it would keep my nails stronger. She was right! My nails never grow, they always break if they even get a little bit of length to them, but now I have long and strong nails! Her pedicures are amazing as well. I always opt for the Luxury pedi because it comes with an extra long massage, and a scrub and cooling masque, which feels so nice. Her polishing is always on point as well. Being there so often, I've seen some of the other technician's work, and they all do a great job, plus they are all extreme welcoming and friendly.
