I can't say enough great things about Lee Nail Salon. I've been coming here for a few years now, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Anyone of the nail artists are great. Tiffany has a wonderful, funny personality and remembers clients names when they come in. You are made to feel welcomed from the moment you enter and get great service. Tiffany knows me by nail color as I get the same nail color every time!! lol I even purchased the dip color from her I love the color so much. She has what seems like hundreds of nail colors so you can't ever say she doesn't have the color you want. Best nail salon around!! I actually live in Schaumburg where there's a nail salon on every corner but I still always come to this salon closer to my work. The no-chip always lasts the longest, I never have to wait and the prices are the best. Everyone is super friendly and they work fast. I often come on my lunch hour. Last time I got my mani and pedi at the same time in like an hour because two people were working on me at one time. They always remember your name and what you like here too. My 2 friends and I went in for 2 pedicures and manicure. Even though we made an appointment, the place was very crowded when we got there. I got a pedicure and it was honestly the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. My technician used a thick and clumpy nail polish and didn't bother to get a new one or do a proper job putting the paint on. After the 2 of us got our pedicures, we were told to sit and wait. There was no dryer or fan to dry our toes. After waiting for a few minutes, we were asked to pay and asked to leave. I walked around in my flip flops for the next 2 hours to let the polish dry and 3 hrs later the nail polish smudged into a clump and started to chip. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are unprofessional, uncommunicative and not accommodating. I will never be coming back to this place and will be reporting their business tactics to the BBB. read more

My expectations of getting a relaxing manicure were never realized. Soaking time was minimal, hand massage was the same and a tiny dab of moisturizer was all that was used. No hot towel wrap either, like an express treatment. Worst of all was the constant badgering to upsell me to a no-chip. I was handed from one girl to another, mIdway through and four girls questioned me repeatedly as to why I wasn't asking for gel, to last longer. I explained that the color was only for the weekend, that I work with food and it had to come off in very few days. No one wanted to take no for an answer. I go to Lee Nails anytime I want my fingers or toes done up nice. I haven't tried their waxing services, so I cannot speak for or against them. I do know, however, that the staff here takes their time, uses quality products (including OPI), and does a good job, all at a good price. Although their accents are sometimes hard to understand, the staff are very patient about my unintentionally jerking my foot away every two minutes because I am so ticklish. I recommend getting the mani/pedi special, as it costs just a bit more than a pedi alone. I seldom take advantage of this great deal because wearing finger nail polish makes my parrots want to rip my finger nails from their nail beds. The parking here is ample and superior to the Lee Nails in downtown Des Plaines or the Lee Nails in Golf Mill. They may all have the same name, but these are very different experiences. Also, a word of warning about the massage chairs you sit in for pedicures: check to see what the setting is if you are small like me. Those bad boys almost sent me flying into my pedicurist once because it was all the way on the hardest setting. It isn't Mario, but these aren't Mario prices, either. I consider this one of the better strip-mall or mall nail shops in the NW Burbs. read more

Is there a way to give less than a star? Because if there was I would give this place NO STARS. They are super unprofessional. My technician was rude, inattentive and rushed my pedicure. They just rushed me off after my pedicure without letting me fully dry. They just wanted my money. Not to mention that this place isn't super clean. I haven't been here for 1 year and today's experience further reiterates why I haven't been coming here. 1. Rude nail techs. She rushed through the entire service. For the grooming, she did not get enough of the cuticle on any finger. I have to touch up on that. I shouldn't have to, that's why I paid for this service. 2. When she was done with the first basics like the filing, cuticle trimming, budding and adding the bond, she said "OKAY GO PAY NOW. NOW YOU PAY". This is common in some places where they offer for you to pay half way through the service, this way you don't ruin your nails after. But the key word here is *offer*. No, in this incident, it was a demand. I felt really uncomfortable and rushed. I'll be honest, I did not tip well. Then she said something in her language and 3 other nail techs all looked up to glance at me. I've gotten my nails done hundreds of times, I know good nail service. Good service, good tip. Bad service, bad tip. She's lucky she got anything at all. 3. She didn't get the nail polish all the way through the edges. She also did not paint close enough to the cuticle, my my nail looks like it's 1 week deep in growth. 4. Before I asked her to paint closer to the sides, I first took a close look to make sure before I said anything. So I looked closely and she abruptly says "DONT BLOW" twice... I stoically looked at her and said "I didn't, I'm just looking". Inevitably she mumbled something in her language again. 5. When she was done, she left me to sit alone with the fan. They are supposed to get up, offer to assist you with your things and show you to the air drying station. She just left me there. Probably mad at her garbage tip. Well I have garbage nails and am out 15 bucks. How do you think I feel? I had to look for her and ask her "excuse me, am I supposed to stay here?" THEN she finally showed me to the air drying station. Tiffany and Na are the only solid performers there and unfortunately these days, Tiffany seems to be in her own world. I asked her for a business card with an email, because I didn't want to resort to the internet to use my voice. She said she didn't have an email for the business. She asked me why what is wrong? I looked down shaking my head and said "nothing it's fine" and she didn't pursue the issue. There are ALWAYS signs of an unhappy customer. If I didn't tell you I wanted the email for a compliment, then you should know what else it's for, considering the body language. Anyone that has worked a decent time in customer service can attest to that. Long story short, I'm pissed and I will NEVER return again and neither will my friend My reply to the response below: You saying I "look" like I had a bad day is passing judgement and totally false. I have come sooo many times and have been been happy to have my nails done, especially by Na and have always tipped well. I have never complained until now. It is very unprofessional and dismissive to respond by saying I am difficult when that is a lie. Like I said, this is my first complaint. Really unprofessional to respond so dismissively. Sure, blame the customer for your short comings. Such a shame. I am just realizing that it's Na that responded to my review lol You were my favorite tech! How could you make such a false statement? So I went there a Friday and got a no chip done as well as a basic pedicure. So when I walked in I didn't even know I had to sign in till I asked when they finally got me they put my feet in the water and the lady that was after me go started in before me... so yeah I was mad what's the point of getting somewhere first and not getting seen first. I've been going to Lee Nail for a few years now and honestly, they are amazing! Not your typical salon. They recognize friendly faces and always greet customers with a warm welcome! Any time I've been there they welcome the majority of the customers by their name (which is crazy, I don't know how they remember everyone) and it's what truly sets them aside from everywhere else I've been. Usually, when you go to a nail salon you hope you don't get stuck with 'the bad nail tech' who does a sloppy job or doesn't pay attention to certain things. However, that is not the case at Lee Nail. Every nail tech is amazing! From nail-shaping acrylics to pedicures, you will NOT be disappointed. I used to have a 'go-to' nail tech, but now I could care less who does them because I know they'll look great regardless! The previous reviews about them being rude, impolite, and snappy are bizarre to me. If you're going to give them a hard time, they are obviously going to get defensive, who wouldn't? Their personalities are spunky, sassy, and most of all, friendly. I find them to be absolutely hysterical! When they laugh, they include you and explain what's funny, whether it be a picture on their phone or something one of them said! Not only do they execute top of the line nails, but Lee Nail waxing and tinting are also AWESOME! The tint lasted longer than I expected and waxing is ALWAYS on point! read more

I just moved to the area and decided to try Lee Nails after seeing the positive reviews on here. I went in for a no chip on a Friday afternoon and, not surprisingly, it was pretty busy. There was a bit of wait but I was ok with that. When I sat with a tech, he was quick but thoroughly. And, BEST OF ALL: My no chip manicure was PERFECT for two full weeks. I don't think I've ever had a no chip last that long without flaws or small chips on the edges. I was very impressed. I went back in again this weekend for another no chip and it was morning so there was no wait. I had a different tech but she was also quick and did an excellent job. My nails look great, again! My only complaint is that I'm a little confused about price. I swear I paid $30 the first visit but this second time she said it was $33. I took a picture of the posted price sheet on my way out and it says $30 too. I gave her $40 and told her to keep the change so she either overcharged me, I misheard and she got a generous tip, or there's discrepancies in posted prices. It's $3 so it wasn't the end of the world but it's worth mentioning. **Eta: hey thanks for the prompt reply, Tiffany. Like I said, it was $3 so it's not a big deal but I also heard someone else charged $33 (after getting her nails done but I have no idea if she got something extra) so when I heard $33 again I figured that was the rate.
