Today, I had the pleasure of taking my niece to Lee's Nail Salon as part of her birthday gift this year. When we entered the salon, we noticed right away there would be a wait. Given that it's March and spring break, we didn't mind this at all as we understand tourism in our little town. We went over and selected our colors from the Gel selection. My Niece picked out a natural rose for her feet a a pink chrome for her hands. I picked a butter yellow for my feet and asked for a full set with butter yellow and blueberry design on it. Once we sat down and began looking over the pricing menu, things became intimidating with how everything was separated. However, the nail tech made everything simple by asking what we wanted and explaining what would work better. The nail techs did good work on my niece wrapping her up very quickly with a perfect chrome & gel pink polish on both hands and feet that looked beautiful with a cat eye effect. Her's was $90 total. I feel like I got upsold from what she asked for big time. At that point I just told them to paint my nails regular because I didn't want to pay more than $100 on my manicure. In all, it was a fun experience but I feel I was over charged for it. read more

Worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done and unfortunately it was for my birthday nails. First, the owner kept asking me why I was getting white... because I want to? I treated myself to a more deluxe mani pedi and it was nothing short of a regular mani pedi. Worst of all, I have had an uneven thumbnail for about 15 years, never had a problem with it until the owner doing my nails drilled it down so far that when my nails were off- it completely ripped off my thumbnail. I was able to make an appt easily and get the service (pedi) I needed, but very easily. I scheduled online and got a response within the hour. I confirmed my time and walked from the beach to the busines. I was late (not many side walks to walk on from the beach so took a bit longer than expected) but they took me right in and gave me some water to cool down. the design on my two toes that I requested was so cute. I showed them my idea and they made it happen so easily. highly recommend. great quality. and the vibe was incredibly chill which is exactly what I needed while on vacation. Small notice: design on your toes does require gel polish and the price increases a bit. A very cool day presented a perfect time for a fresh pedicure. I love Lee nails and they are my go to while snowbirding in the winter here. Lee runs a tight ship and I appreciate that. They are very attentive to your needs, And I really appreciate their timeliness. I have been going to the nails for several years, and never have had to wait, with an appointment. It's a large business and walkins have no problems either at this time of year. I love to get gel polish with my pedicure, and I am always so surprised to see the price is less than I pay at home. I chose the $30 pedicure and I do pay an additional 25 for the gel polish. I love being able to put my shoes on and walk out when I'm done, rather than walk like a duck over to sit and dry for 20 minutes. If you haven't tried them, please do. WARNING! Stay far away from here. Our regular place was closed (Tips and Toes) Went for acrylic nails removal. Didn't soak nails in acetone. Pried off nails with a fake nail pulled from a drawer. Technician was watching her phone the entire time. The shop was dirty and smelled unpleasant. Manager changed the advertised price right in front of me after I showed him it should have been $10 for a soak off (they never soaked them in acetone) as advertised on their pamphlets. Could have done this at home for free with less damage to my nail beds. Hoping my nails don't become infected. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Worst service I've ever had. I wanted a pedicure with gel and stopped it before the guy could do the gel. I had very little length on my nails and he got rid of all of it! Cut it right down to the skin. Then when he went to go clean under my nonexistent nails that was painful! I've never had it hurt for someone to cut my cuticles but he somehow screwed that up as well. I asked for my nails to be straight he did one side straight and squared off and the other side round on almost every nail. I let the manager know and he offered to file my nails. I had my nails done a week ago. I had not been here in awhile. I am a local. I do the nail dip. I went in this morning to show the owner my nails. All of the top clear coat came off within twos days of having them done. I also had chips in them. I forgot my receipt but was willing to go home and get it. He said that I needed to know the color I chose in order to redo them or fix them. I didn't so he said I had to pay the full price for a new color. Absolutely absurd. As a 30 year military veteran, I felt this was wrong and betrayed. I tried to explain to him that he did not make sense but he would not be nice and just shrugged his shoulders. I only came here because I had a gift certificate . I asked for a full set and an eyebrow wax. After the eyebrow wax, I'm used to at least getting some lotion put on so I'm not puffy or red but nothing . She then asked me if I want a lip wax ????? No, I didn't ask for one nor do I need one since I'm naturally blonde and there is literally nothing so it was obvious she wanted more Money . My mom owns a nail salon in Orlando , so I know a good job when it's being done . When she was was putting the tips on me , the glue went everywhere including my skin , which she then either ripped or filed off which hurt like crazy to the point of BLEEDING on multiple occasions and fingers . She didn't take her time to file them Down , if she did, my finger wouldn't be bleeding , and she had the audacity to tell me "oh your skin is just dry" . No lady. You filing my skin with glue on it made my fingers bleed . I don't even care at this point about all the SNS left behind , or the fact that the nails aren't even shaped correctly ,but my fingers are literally bleeding and hurt like crazy . Should have left before the gentleman started..just shook out towel from previous patron, placed back on table, non of the instruments for prepping nails were sterile, just laying on a tray, full of dust..he didn't seem to be able to shape nails had to repeat..no lotion applied after.. Then when they got the right product, things were going great until after he was done and my nails were FLIMSY!!!!! The excuse was that they were too long. I took my daughter in with a slightly but not completely broken finger, which is fine...But this stupid ass was being overly aggressive with her finger. Not only that everything that she wanted was a NO! While she was picking out her colors he literally took the color wheel away from her. So they proceed on and the next color is coming up (because she picked 3 colors) she wanted a burgundy. He was going to pick her color instead of her. But the end of our visit we were both shocked and wanted to leave. I asked him if he was going to put cuticle oil on her nails as well. He squirts it on her hands, not nails, and points to the sink. Not only was it hot and not too clean in there, this work is just SAD. Me and my friend came here for her birthday for two pedicures and for her to get a SNS set. I have honestly never seen anything worse. We paid 120$ not including a tip and while i felt it unnecessary to cause a scene, it did feel necessary to warn future patrons. The SNS set (which was 50$) was meant to be medium length almond shape nail, and something went horribly wrong here. Photos attached will say it all. This is not to mention the man doing my friends nails -while waiting for her nails to dry- picked up the file he was using on her and filed his nails. He then continued to use it on her which in the current climate of the world is just BAFFLING. The 35$ pedicure includes a 30 second "massage", a hand towel wrapped around your legs, and some minimal scrubbing of your feet. I could have done better myself. Save your time, save your money, this place is awful. read more

I truly wish I could recommend this place, but that simply isn't the case. I've been here a few times now with hopes that things would improve- sadly that wasn't the case. The staff is extremely short tempered and beyond rude. My nail polish is already chipping and I just left the salon a few hours ago. Oh- and the pricing seems to change every time I go in. They are very inconsistent and NOT worth your time or money. I'd suggest going to Nails So Happy in Pier Park next to massage envy. "Almond" shaped nails had a pointy tip and I asked for them to be redone twice and still was not fixed.
