I'm giving Sky Nails 3 stars -- and it's honestly disappointing because I've had 5-star experiences here in the past. I purchased the upgraded Spa Pedicure for $55, expecting the relaxing experience I've had before, but this visit fell short. The technician barely spent any time on the service. Once my toes were done, she did not massage my legs or feet at all -- which is a huge part of what you're paying for with an upgraded pedicure. I've had this same pedicure before with a male technician, and he took his time, included a thorough massage, and made the whole experience feel worth the price. When I politely asked about the massage, she told me it would be "$10 more" -- which felt ridiculous, considering the service was supposed to already include that. It felt rushed and honestly left me frustrated. I've loved this place in the past, and I know they can deliver a great experience, but this time it just wasn't there. Hoping it was a one-off and not a sign of a change in quality. read more

I am VERY picky about my nails salons, and for the last 15 years, I have only found one that I really liked. I usually use only the one. HOWEVER, this salon blew my socks off! Not only are the staff super nice, they are great. In my old salon, they acted like they were doing you a favor by allowing you in (by appointment only!) Sky Nails allowed me to walk in and immediately had me in a pedi chair with an employee at my feet. I got the VIP deluxe, and it was definitely worth the money! I happened to have a photo of some nails I loved. (I had showed them to my past regular shop and was shut down!) My tech did it quickly and easily. She made me feel like she didn't need to rush me through, but she was quick. I had my toes done very plain blue, but they're cute. The final point is the price. I have always paid more for a mani/pedi at my old place. Without decorations. My toes and nails, acrylics, gel, and design, were $110. I never get out of my old salon for less than $140, and that is no design! read more

I came with a friend of mine to get an acrylic set with gel. I've had my nails done for TWO (2!!!) days & one nail has already cracked & broken off. The gel from SEVERAL other nails started peeling instantly. She didn't do enough coats of the polish or the top coat. Very friendly people and that's about the only nice thing I have to say... I will NOT be back & plan on going to have them fixed / refunded. read more

I don't know why I went and gave these guys a second chance tonight, but I did...I had my nails done here about two yeara ago..and while at least they were friendly that time, they were neither friendly, nor a job well done this time. It was a male technician that waa available when I went in...first of all, all they were doing was social distancing, but the man told my boyfriend that he had to wait outside...although he gave him a mask, why, I don't know if he was made to wait outside. So i sat down and picked out a color. The technician started doing my nails..and kept saying that I needed powder? (I guess he was trying to say that I needed the gel) which I was only going to spend 30.00...the gel was 40. I told him all I wanted to spend was 30...he got very rude and was very much in a hurry. Normally..spending thirty, they still either paint my ring finger a different color, or put a small design on it. The coloe of grey that he applied was not even the color that I picked...when he cut my nails down they are all uneven, and the way that he polished them looks atrocious. My nails look way better when Ive gone to Walmart and done them myself. I am really aggrevated as I was celebrating just being released after doing some time locked up. Wow! I evacuated from New Orleans due to hurricane Ida. I wish I could come here regularly! Never have ever received such a wonderful pedicure and manicure. Diem was not only incredibly kind, but so precise and did a fabulous job. I was amazed by his work. I showed him a picture of what I wanted, and my nails look exactly like the picture. My first visit was great...Lisa did a wonderful pedicure! My second visit for a manicure, Lisa wasn't there and Lee (Li?) booked my appointment. Lee gave me a regular manicure but the polish was applied WAY too thick. It took 3 days to fully dry and ended up full of dents and smudges. Also her uniform was stained and very dirty. My 3rd visit, Lisa applied the polish so thin that it barely lasted 2 days. Also the sign on the wall says a manicure is $17 but they charged me $20. When I asked about the discrepancy, they said "That sign is old." I won't be back. read more

Everyone was very friendly but as far as quality service for what we paid was not worth it. We both got a spa pedicure which we waited a long time and I got a manicure which we were there a total of 3 hours!!! My husband was very patient thru it all. The spa pedicure massage was not even close to a massage and I have gotten much better pedicure and manicure. They over charged me a total of $90 which should have been $77. I know we were tourist but please don't try and overcharge especially when the price is visual. If you want a business to flourish don't just be nice but charge accordingly and a better pedicure and not a long wait. Not the best experience. read more

Walked in and was immediately seated Looked at the menu and the deluxe pedicure is the best deal. I had no idea it was going to be this good!!! It was the best I've ever had. My feet have never felt or looked this good. And I'm 50....had quite a few pedis in my day. Also had my eyebrows waxed. She did a perfect job. Took her time and shaped them beautifully. I'm usually not picky with nail places but awful experience here the two times I went. The employees were rude and made you feel unwelcomed. They told me to hurry up when picking out a color instead of helping me and answering my questions, like most nail places I've been to normally would. My nails weren't even that good. The location itself is a little dirty and uncomfortable as well. The second time I went, it was a Sunday and I had to get my acrylics removed ASAP and they were the only ones open so I hesitantly went. Same experience. They took an HOUR to remove my acrylics which is normally a quick process. Through it all they treated me like a burden and I felt so uncomfortable even though I was completely nice to them. I needed to find a nail salon open on Sunday and they were the only one I could find I called two days prior to schedule an appointment and when I got in they had 3 workers for about 7 people then they moved me to a chair to sit and soak my feet for my pedicure and left me for 30+ minutes the water began to get cold and my feet grew pruny. The staff was friendly but not interactive I will not be recommending or returning by any means they did alright work but not good enough for all the waiting and poor service. read more

Will not go back! I had a full set done for my birthday and after just three days I had to find another salon to fix their work because it was driving me crazy. The lady that did them kept trying to bully me into services that I didn't want in order to rack up the price and then would make snooty comments when I was adamant about what I wanted. She continuously shoved my fingers out of her way instead of politely explaining to me where I could keep them in order for her work to be easier and then when I showed obvious annoyance with her... it was like she purposefully messed up my nails. My thumbs were way shorter than the rest of my nails and weren't filled in all the way on either side so by that night they were lifting! She left an obvious gap where the nail ended and my cuticle began as though she was trying to make it to where I would have to come in for a fill in sooner. I left grouchy and unsatisfied but paid for the services anyway just so I could get out of there. They looked so bad and were driving me so crazy I had to find another salon to fix the work she did and the new salon couldn't find any redeeming qualities in her work. Do not recommend! I walked in at 515 (Saturday close at 7pm) for a mani-pedi. All five techs were busy with other customers when I sat down. They got to me quickly and even with removal of my nail gel, I was in and out in an hour and a half. My nails are perfectly done, never felt rushed and the massage was amazing! I was going to Diva Nails in Callaway and as much as I love that place it's a bit of a drive since I live in PCB. Sky Nails is about a 5 minute drive for me, all the ladies and the owner are super friendly. A co-worker recommended this place, so glad that I went. Love this place. read more

Horrible experience. I'm used to paying a little extra for polished because my natural nails are long, but if I spend $33 on just gel polish it should not look like the quality of work that is on my nails. My gel polish(which isnt supposed to peel) was peeling by the time I got to my vehicle. Because I was in a rush I did not go back today(Saturday) but I will be going back on Sunday for them to repair it and I am not paying for the repair of their poor quality work. Everyone was nice but my gel did not stay on my nails. I lost the first nail on the second day in the shower and went back and she fixed it at no charge. However, the second one came off the second day and I just lost the third nail today. I don't know if it's the type of gel or their process but it didn't work for me. DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE, its such an unprofessional and racist salon. They are selective with the type of customers to serve. They did a terribly job and when you asked them to redo it, they showed attitude and challenged you to call police if you ask for refund because of their rude behavior. They did a careless job just wanted to get it done. It sounds like a family own salon so they cover for each other. They did not know how to be professional in a service industry. I never stop by this salon to give my business anymore. Im afraid i will get infection because of such work ethic.
