Great classic American Chinese. I usually order off menu as a Vegetarian--Sesame Tofu. For lunch, it comes with an egg roll and soup. I ask for the spring roll instead as the egg roll has meat in it. Their egg drop soup is good. The tea here is great and they have the good ice! I've always been grateful for the good service. I typically order takeout unless when I was on duty working nearby and would eat in. Ambiance is similar to fast food American Chinese. It's small but clean, and I always had enough leftover to take home for another meal. Large portions mean that one order is big enough for my small family, especially if we add sides at home. Other friends have gone with me and had the meat entrees and liked them. They usually have my order done in less than 10 min. read more

One of the employees, was so incredibly rude to me. She talked to me like I was a 5 year old instead of an adult. She did a horrible job explaining the menu to me, and made me feel like an idiot. It was horrible costumer service and I will NEVER be back here. There is so many other options for Chinese food where you will be treated better. I had their vegetable fried rice...good flavor but definitely needs more variety of vegetables and a lot more vegetables in the serving. Hubby had shrimp fried rice...he said it was really good. The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars from me is the food. I always order kung Pao chicken when I go to a new-to-me Chinese restaurant. And while Lee Palace has good customer service, prices, and is clean, the food is not too good, in my humble opinion. It SEEMS like the chicken is low quality. It's mushy and gooey, which baffles me. And the Kung Pao Chicken lacks in flavor, especially when compared to Swen, LaiLai, or Mr Chen's. And lastly, KP chicken is usually cooked and served with peanuts. Lee cooked the dish then threw the peanuts on top right before bringing it to the table. Will I eat Lee's again? Probably so. Great location for those down 69 south. Love them! The food is cooked to order! Some of the best Chinese food in town!! I always order the pepper steak or sweet and sour chicken! The egg rolls are thick and delish! I also love the magnolia beef and I add 3 shrimp for 1.50! I also love the low mein so I get the combination dinner! They can be a tab bit more expensive than a lot of other Chinese places but it's worth it ! Especially those buffets where the food sits out all day! I am hooked! And the family is sweet! The inside of the restaurant itself is pretty standard nothing fancy. The menu isn't too overwhelming and they also have a great lunch menu. They can do large scale catering type orders as well.
