I went there with my girlfriend to relax and have manicure and pedicure. We did make an appointment since it was in the weekend and I know it will be busy but was able to put us down for an appointment. We get there and it was chaotic but was assisted by May ( receptionist) while we are waiting for our technicians, very bubbly gal and super welcoming to all the guest. She also offered us all the services they have in the menu after we were seated & explained them all very well. Salon is following covid protocols and people were good.. We took the treatment and it was really an awesome feeling after the treatment. One of these worst pedicures I've ever had. For starters...everything seems dirty and unsanitary. The tools look used over and over. And to be honest I have no idea what the lady was doing the entire time...like the weirdest pedicure I've ever received. No rhyme or reason. Luke warm dirty looking towels. I have no idea what this was. She answered her phone which I ABSOLUTELY HATE. I can't even call the massage a massage, I have no idea what she was doing. Hitting my leg, digging her nails into my feet, and she set a timer but didn't even go until the end of the timer she finished early. My nails look like crud. I get pedicures and spend extra money on a massage which this was crap. I don't have a lot of time to get pedicures and when I do I want to relax, don't go here if you want to relax. Waste of $45. Went here to get a manicure and I tried the dip powder for the first time. Before she even started I asked for the price difference between gel and the dip powder. She said that gel was $28 and the dip powder was $35 so I went ahead with the dip power. I ended up getting charged $40 due to an extra $5 for removing the cuticle which I found ridiculous. Removing the cuticle is usually a standard procedure of any manicure and to be charged extra just seemed like another way to hike up the price. I also didn't get a massage, hot towel, lotion etc. Won't be coming here again due to the dishonesty with pricing and lack of bang for your buck. read more

Even if I make an appointment, no matter the day/time, I end up waiting 30 minutes minimum. I asked for white acrylics, when she went to cut them I asked for long nails, she cut them extra short and asked if that was fine after she had cut them. She didn't check to see the length i wanted. After i noticed that they were short, i also noticed they were uneven so I told her and she said she would do it later. When she went to dry my hands with the uv light my hands started burning, and when i told her all she said was oh. This happened twice. The whole thing was rushed, only took like 30 minutes and i payed 50$ for crooked short nails. Save your money. My hands are also bleeding now. My nails are about to reach the 2 week mark , and normally when I get gel acrylics they still look good by the time it hits two weeks. I paid 65 for the full set and pedicure and my nails are a mess. The man that did them looked like he was in a hurry because he literally got them done in 10 min or so. Waited 40 minutes even with an appointment. First, i was told to sit on a chair that was covered in some liquid substance... i was too scared to put my head all the way back. This place was pretty empty when I came here. I just walked in on a week day. I was immediately disgusted by the prices of this nail salon. Boy are their prices steep compared to other salons! I needed a fill for my acrylics, they were grown out about 5 weeks or so. And I desperately needed a pedicure like cavemen in the Stone Age needed razor blades. So given the status of my gnarly looking feet I gave in and settled on the overpriced pedicure and fill. Service was fine, I don't remember having any issues but I also don't remember anything spectacular either. And for the higher price you better knock my socks off or something! I've been going to this salon regularly for about 4 years. First off, this is Corona, people (not Beverly Hills!) and as far as salons in Corona go, this is pretty nice. Not luxurious, but clean and nice. The owner, KIM, is very kind. She always makes an effort to smile and always remembers my name. There is sometimes a wait, but they will get you in quickly. I almost never call ahead and am always able to be in a chair in less than 5 minutes. Their prices are average. A regular Mani-Pedi is $30 (which includes sitting in the pedi chair and minor callus removal on the feet). I personally don't use the massage feature on the massage chair because I have scoliosis and it hurts my back bone, but friends have said it's relaxing and they like it. I used to get the Gel Manicure (which is an extra $15), and loved it at first (Gelish brand was my favorite). But after about a year of gel manis every 2 weeks, it seemed like the gel it started cracking or peeling on my nails. I don't know if the gel got old or what, but I then switched to acrylic overlay on top of my natural (medium-short) nails (about $20-25, less for a fill.) Nobody there has ever made my nails bleed. And I can add here that it is clean and I've never had an issue with cleanliness/fungus, etc. Also, I've never had the feeling that the employees are talking "behind my back in front of me" in another language. They do sometimes speak Vietnamese to each other, but don't look at you and giggle or anything like that (which, sadly, I have experienced at other salons.) Everyone there is friendly, but I have PETER, CHRISTINA, or EVELYN do my nails. Acrylic overlay, nice and thin. They all do a fantastic job. I get compliments on my nails all the time, and people ask me if its gel because it looks so natural (the acrylic is not tacky and thick.) JENNIFER does my pedicures, and she's a sweetie! Always does a great job. EVELYN also does a great job on eyebrow waxing. I have a 5-year old son whom I bring with me most of the time. Everyone is very sweet and genuinely kind to him, and they all know his name. They even give him a little foot massage sometimes! :) When I don't have him with me they even ask where he is. :) (KIM even gave him a snack a few times, some sesame cookies that he loves!) JESSE gives *EXCELLENT* foot, neck, and back massages. He's small but he's strong! Ask for their "Rewards Card." You earn a free 30 minute foot massage for every $380 you spend. I think that's a nice little bonus :) I would have given them 5 stars if they offered drinks (a little wine while getting a mani-pedi is my fave!) and had a little more ambiance. They have a 2 nice plasma TVs which are sometimes both on at the same time and on different channels (which is kind of distracting for me). They also have the standard fluorescent lighting, which I don't particularly care for (in all honesty, I loathe fluorescent lighting.) Some nice, classy warm lighting would add a nice ambiance. Lastly, sometimes the employees cook their food in a back room and the smell wafts into the salon area. I understand that people need to eat, but the smell is strong and not very appealing to me. If you live in the South Corona/Eagle Glen/Dos Lagos/The Retreat area I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you try this salon. :) Who knows, maybe one day they will offer a glass of Chardonnay or Rose' with my mani-pedi... then I will give them 5 stars! ***** :) read more
