Speaking of the Tustin location specifically, Coach Nikolay is a legitimately a world class fencer (see wikipedia). You can see it in their blood and how it emanates to the studio as a whole. There are classes here for more casual fencers but, I can see that this place is a studio that produces winners. One specific thing I appreciate is that the Coaches emphasis a lot of intention and detail when training. Having been in other gyms, they are usually kind but not intentional (e.g. blindly repeating drills without checking form). I don't believe you can get better without being intentional. Overall, I think it is a great place for younger fencers to build confidence, athleticism, and mental acuity.
