We arrived at the store about 5:45 and was greeted graciously by a very nice receptionist who then handed us over to Bernice Friedberg. We went to Bernice's office where she spent time getting to know us and what we were looking for in an RV. I told her I was a novice when it comes to RV'S and she made us both feel very comfortable and relaxed. While in her office we laughed and joked with each other as she was taking notes on what might interest us. We then went to the lot and looked at RV'S. It was evident Bernice was an experienced professional who really knew her stuff. We spent at least 90 minutes going through vehicles, talking and laughing together. Bernice did a great job building trust, thus building a solid relationship with both of us. Even though we told Bernice we were just looking and we might never purchase a vehicle, and frankly she might never see us again, she never flinched or acted like she was short on time. It was about 7:30 PM when we all hugged each other and said our good-bye's. I felt like I had made a new friend. Bernice and I even got our picture together!! I am Yelp Elite so this review with a picture will be on Yelp later today. Salespeople like Bernice are the face of a company. As stated, Colerain will receive a great Yelp Review because of our experience last night. Lastly, because of this experience, if I ever purchase an RV from anywhere, I will make sure I call Bernice first. If I find what I think might be a better deal somewhere else, I will give Bernice a chance to beat the deal. Colerain is lucky to have a salesperson like Bernice as she nailed customer service as well as it can be accomplished. We have already talked with three other people to tell them about our experience last night and we told them if they ever need an RV, go to Colerain Family RV...... we did say ask for Bernice.

We take the camper out on the first trip. Couple of small issues with leaking pipes in bathroom sink but all in all a great trip. No weather, no issues, and all was well. We get home and wash the camper and notice a crack/tear in aluminum swing arm on awning. We take camper back to Blue compass and they fix the leaks(how it was missed the first time I do not know but maybe just a first run kind of loosening). The aluminum swing arm though they cant fix and sent to warranty company who denied it saying they were told by Blue Compass it was customer damage. Blue Compass says they didn't say it, warranty company says they did. Either way they are not fixing it and it is now my problem to worry about. Personally I would stay away from Blue Compass and their warranties that dont cover much. Shop elsewhere and I hope you find a camper company and warranty company that stands behind their products because Blue Compass sure as heck doesnt.

Rating: (1/5 Stars) Review:…read moreConsumer Warning: Be extremely cautious if you deal with salesman Barry Burdette or management at this location. I purchased a camper under the explicit, written contractual agreement that the deal included a complete roof seal. Upon taking delivery, I discovered the critical roof work was completely omitted. This failure was subsequently verified in writing by their own dealership service advisor. When confronted with this breach of contract, Barry Burdette actively attempted to deflect accountability via text message by falsely claiming the vehicle was sold "as-is" due to an optional package--directly contradicting his own handwriting on my signed contract sheet. When I escalated this material misrepresentation to the General Manager, the office repeatedly used screening tactics claiming he was "on the phone" to actively dodge accountability, only to later offer a cheap "spot seal" instead of fulfilling the signed contract terms. This is a clear case of deceptive sales practices and zero management integrity. I am handing my signed documents and text evidence directly over to the Indiana Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and the Better Business Bureau. Avoid Barry Burdette and this location

First of all, I would like to start this review with the fact that you have to make me extremely…read moreupset for me to say a bad word about you. Completely the opposite I'm the one who would like to be writing a review, singing someone's praises and recognizing them for their hard work. Unfortunately, that is nowhere near the case here. Camping world has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. And I know a thing or two about customer service as I worked in Customer service for over 12 years. This past spring, we took our RV here because we have a warranty for the paint. the paint was dull and oxidized so we took it in to have it corrected. They agreed that under warranty that the work needed to be done. It was like pulling teeth to get any kind of update for the next 2 to 3 months on the RV. Mind you this was prime season and we wanted to be able to use it. Call after call email after email just a bunch of BS excuses. Come to find out they had painted an RV in the bay next to ours and got overspray all over it obviously making the situation 10 times worse than it wasn't the first place. That all aside my husband agreed that we would take it back to get corrected in the fall after we could enjoy it at least for a couple of months. Fast-forward to this week, my husband calls to tell them we need to get the RV in to fix the things that they had caused. Not only is the paint job, awful and dull now because of them over spraying it and then having to remove the paint however they did that .. now all of our decals are all looking like trash, so they're also supposed to order new decals for the RV. My husband calls this week and the person we have been working with says oh I'm not taking care of that anymore. You're gonna be dealing with so-and-so. This person doesn't even fill the next person in on what is going on and we are back to square one and now this new person is saying, when and IF. WE DO SOMETHING?! NO I DON'T THINK THAT'S HOW IT WORKS. COMMUNICATION IS KEY. YOU ALL NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITHIN YOUR COMPANY AND FIGURE THIS OUT BECAUSE NONE OF THIS IS OUR FAULT AND I CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE HOW LONG YOU'LL KEEP THE RV THIS TIME AND HOW MANY EXCUSES WE WILL HEAR OVER THE NEXT MONTHS. Long story long.. I would steer clear of camping world as once they get your business and the sale they don't give two flips about you and you will suffer if you have to get something done to your RV.

A review of my sales experience:…read more Thursday, I stopped in to verify some of my online research that I had been conducting on purchasing a recreational vehicle. I met with Christian in Sales and liked everything he was telling me and ended up purchasing the a Rockwood Geo Pro 19BH right then and there. I was on my way to Lexington, KY and had not meant to spend any time sidetracked here but the entire purchase time only took an hour and a half and I was back on the road. I had been researching ultra light weights for two months and knew what I wanted and needed. I knew they had one of my choices in stock and found out it was the only one. Rather than take a chance someone else would snap it up, I moved forward with my purchase. Tuesday, following bank approval of financing, I came back in to have a brake control added to my vehicle. Also, I needed an extremely modified ball mount (13 inches from ball to pin, raised 9 inches) for my trailer hitch so that my new RV would be level and clear my bumper. They did not have anything in stock that would get the job done. Dave searched high and low for the right mount with an extra long shank to fit my vehicle. He spent well over an hour calling other RV shops and searching the net and until he finally found me one that might work. I have to order it so we'll see. Blake did our demonstration. He was knowledgeable and was able to answer every one of my questions. He also provided more information beyond the required spiel which is exactly what you, as the customer, always want to hear. Hutch made the document closing painless and fast.

Our camper turns at the pin box (Curt Turning Point pin box) not in the bed of the truck, the pin box has a wedge installed to lock it out from turning in the truck bed. They moved our 5th wheel and placed 2 bolts into the back of the Curt Turning Point, we have owned this camper since 2022 we have never had bolts in where they placed them. We dropped our 5th wheel off at The RV Clinc (July 26, 2025) to have the entrance door replaced and one other minor repair done. We picked the 5th wheel up on July 2, 2025. I went in to pay for the minor repair as the door and the labor were being covered by Lippert and Rockwood. Jessica Miron asked if we needed help hooking up I said no we do this all the time she replied I figured that. My husband and I hooked the 5th wheel up (we do the same procedure we do every time we go camping and is recommended by Lippert), drive across the back parking lot go to make a left hand turn around the building and we hear a terrible noise. Nelson (employee of The Rv Clinic) comes running out and says he knows what happened he left the bolts in the pin box. As he is taking the bolts out I asked him if that hurt the hitch at all, he said NO. We leave The RV Clinic turn left off of Tahlequah Trail on to SR 73, my husband applies the brakes because of red light (across from the Shell station) (he was going 20-25 mph) and the 5th wheel comes up into the bed of the truck and stops up against the rear window. I get out to access the damage, the camper is damaged, the truck is damaged and the tonneau cover trashed. I tried calling The RV Clinic no one answers, I left a message of what happened and said that we needed help. I started to walk back to The RV Clinic and Nelson and another employee are on their way and pick me up and asked what happened. We get our truck unhooked and they went and got a long bed truck and placed the bolts into the hitch (that they forgot to take out originally) take it back to the shop and remove what is left of the bolts that hold the wedge on. (The bolts sheered off when we were at their shop when we went to make the left hand turn around the building, hmm I was told no damage) When we were back at their shop and they were taking the sheered bolts off the owner Joshua Miron keep saying to my husband do you know how much this is going to cost you referencing to the tailgate, 5th wheel, and tonneau cover he said it repeatedly. I said to my husband he isn't taking any responsibility for this at all. When I asked him what kind of information we needed to get from him he said like what and I replied like the name of your insurance company. He said this was a parking lot incident and that is the responsibility of our personal insurance , and I would have to speak to his wife for that information but she had gone to book club. I went back the following morning to speak with her she gave me the name of their insurance agent and stated that she talked to him and was told your truck, your camper, you were towing your problem. They are taking no responsibility whatsoever. We would have taken it back to them for the repair to the 5th wheel. We understand that stuff happens, but when you laugh and say I see those bolts sheer all the time and won't take any responsibility no way will we ever use them again. (I spoke to Rockwood & Lippert about bolts sheering off and they both said if that were case they wouldn't be making or using that hitch) We took our 5th wheel to the manufacture (Rockwood) for the repair, so a door and the installation that didn't cost us turned in to us paying out over $1,500.00 for their negligence (stayed in a Air Bnb, gas and food plus deductable on both vehicles. Plus the truck will show up on Carfax as being damaged. Total damage $8000.00 to truck/camper. Also they left their brad nailer in our camper. Yes I returned it to them. Beware if you take your camper to them make sure you check out everything!

In the end....they found a broken fan blade in my air conditioner and I paid $785.94 to have it replaced. According to AI... Coleman replacement condenser fan blades (like the 6733‑3221) retail for about $30-$40. Labor for rooftop RV A/C work typically adds $75-$250, depending on access difficulty (RV rooftops often push labor toward the higher end). My opinion is that Holman's way of doing business is frustrating for the customer. If I have an appointment for an agreed upon day...my rv should not sit for 15 days in a parking lot waiting...waiting...waiting.....If I have to hand deliver a letter to the general service manager to get action...why would I ever come back as a customer again. The lack of follow up by the general service manager is unfortunate. Find another dealership...and save yourself time and frustration.

MAJOR WARNING regarding Holman Motors located in Batavia, Ohio…read more I bought my previous Ram 1500 from here as well as my current vehicle, a 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali. I absolutely loved my sales guy, Eddie, and I have only positive things to say about him and the sales side. I am incredibly bummed that I have to find a new salesperson because of this. However, after the recent service experience that I've had, I WILL NEVER do business at Holman's in any capacity EVER AGAIN. Their final words to me were, "I've run it up the chain of command, and their suggestion is to take your future business elsewhere." In November, my truck was just at 100,000 miles, and a "pigtail" / fuel injector harness went bad. I've always trusted Holman's mechanics fully to advise me, as this is not my area of expertise. The service advisor and their manager, that I was working with, tried to convince me to spend $6,000 or $8,000 to replace all of the fuel injectors and wiring harnesses / pigtails. I did a lot of research and talked to a ton of people, who ALL said that this does not sound right. I advised Holmans to repair the single pigtail / wiring harness and to retest fuel injector #5 after replacement, which they told me was bad and testing out of spec. After speaking to a trusted friend and mechanic, I advised Holmans to replace the 1 pigtail and that I would pick my truck up. I picked my truck up, and it sat in my driveway for a week and a half because I was afraid to drive it. I reached back out to my trusted mechanic friend who advised me to bring it to his shop in Goshen. An employee of his was very through in documenting the work that Holman performed, and that I paid $700 to have completed. IT LOOKED LIKE A BACK YARD MECHANIC HAD COMPELTED THESE REPAIRS FOR $100 OR SOMETHING. Furthermore, the repairs completed left a fried area of the pigtail that they didn't even cut back far enough and replace. Go ahead, take a look at the pictures and what I paid $700 for. It's abysmal! I called the Service Manager, Chris, and explained the situation. By the time he called me back, my step father had just passed away and I was not in the right mind to deal with it. He also told me, "I'm so sorry. Take as much time as you need and get back to me." Roughly a month or so later, I found some extra time in my schedule and walked into the Holman Service department and asked for Chris. He was busy, so I waited for him to free up. Chris stated that I "ghosted" them and refused to address any of the issues. I ended up having to get a little shitty with him, because he thought he could just talked down to me and blame this problem on me! I stood on the fact that they lied to me in a deceiving attempt to do massive and unnecessary repairs. He stood on the fact that I didn't bring the truck back to them to be fixed.... HOW COULD I DO THAT WHEN THEY MISLEAD ME AND I NO LONGER TRUSTED THEM to complete this repair?! I wanted to talk through this and get it resolved. Again, I tried to call Chris a couple of times but never got an answer. This morning I called in and the person who answered the phone transferred me to a Monica. I explained a brief synopsis of the issues and asked if they could over several free oil changes to remedy the issue. It seemed like a logical solution. I'd never had issues with them changing my oil, other than leaving it a mess and it getting all over my driveway every time afterwards. I explained to Monica that I live my sales guy there and prefer to do business at the dealerships close to my housese. I stated rhat i was open to shopping around other dealerships, but I wanted to give them the opportunity to fix their mistake before i did thag or wrote any reviews. Monica said again that she would "take this information and run it up the chain," and that, "it would probably take several hours to get a solution." In approximately 30 minutes, they reveled their true colors. If their mechanics do shoddy work, they don't stand behind it and blame it on the customer.
