Same for my best man: there a certain Cabernet Sauvignon that is very difficult to find at places like Total Wines, and they've always had it -- not always the year that I've been looking for, but for four of his last five birthdays, I've found the wine here. Excellent selections, and what's great about that, the people there know more about their selection than I've found in most other beverage stores. We accidentally found Lee's after first arriving in Vegas. My husband loves to try local beers and have a stockade of them at his disposal. It was a holiday weekend and there were several specials including $5 for 6 packs. I even saw a liqueur from Bunratty's Castle when we visited Ireland and different flavors of Soju. What a selection! If I could give zero stars I would. The clerk that helped me was so rude I will never step foot into a Lees liquor again. I tried to pay for my purchase with a hundred dollar bill ( total purchase was over sixty dollars) he told me that he didn't have enough money in cash register to accept a hundred dollar bill. This was late in the afternoon so they must have made some money during the day. He told me to pay with a card ( you don't tell customers how to pay) and I told him no. On our recent vacation in Las Vegas we got off of the freeway earlier than our usual exit and drove a bit more relaxed up the end of Las Vegas Blvd that we never see. Lots to look at. Then I spied with my little eye Lee's Discount Liquor and realized that I packed a corkscrew (wine key, to those in the business) and bottle cap but no wine or wine glasses. My car immediately swerved into the parking lot of Lee's. Our bodies were immediately teleported into a large repository of virtually any liquor that one might need. As much as I wanted to explore, I immediately combed the numerous racks of wine, selected a few and proceeded to check out. My blushing bride went on the prowl for wine glasses, initially looking for something appropriate in plastic and, thankfully, failing in that endeavor. One of the clerks told her that they really didn't have much that would satisfy that need when, once again, good fortune prevailed. On a shelf above one of the checkouts were a couple of wine glasses. One of one kind and two of another. We needed two so that's what we got... and what nice wine glasses they were. Eisch crystal. At a really god price, too! Made the wine taste a lot better (well, I'm not really sure of that but it looks good when written in a Yelp review). Of the three wines I selected, and I take full responsibility, two were really enjoyable and one was almost immediately sent to the Las Vegas Municipal Sewerage System. Next trip to Las Vegas will likely involve the same not-so-short short-cut and visit to Lee's. Hopefully I'll remember to pack wine glasses, though. read more

I'd actually found Lee's about 12 years ago when getting married in Vegas and needing to stock a few suites for friends. At the time, most of the development between Mandalay and Lee's didn't exist, so it was both quick and easy to get to from that end of the strip. Now that it's so built up between Mandalay and Lee's, there's probably five more liquor stores that are closer, and while none are any better, they're not really any worse either, plus they'd take less time now that even this part of the strip can have pretty heavy traffic. We visited last week for our covid-delayed wedding anniversary and figured let's hit Lee's to get a big batch of champagnes, only they had very few actual champagne options, and no real standouts, so left a bit disappointed. read more

Needed supplies for mixing drinks and Lee's is usually my go to spot. I had a great experience at the store this time. The staff was very friendly and almost in ones space, not sure why. In our day and age one can understand issues they might have with the unpredictable human race. I was seeking grenadine and could not find it in the store in the third lap around the store I sought out the help of the store shadow the customers had and was located in the front. This place was close to the airport and we thought it would be better to go here rather than the local grocery store for our libations for our trip. Bad move. You may save a dollar or two but if you need anyone to help you with anything, look elsewhere. The one employee working in the store was rooted behind the register and when asked questions about inventory, he had no answer and didn't budge to help. Also, when we got to our hotel and went to enjoy a cocktail, we discovered that all the tonic mixers we had purchased expired in January of 2018. I have been coming to Vegas several times a year for the past 15 years. Every time I turn on the television, I see commercials for Lee's discount liquor. It's only been this past year that I have left the strip, driven around town and actually passed this place. They seem to be all over, and I've always wondered if they were cheaper than Total Wine or Sams or Costco. Well this past trip, I decided to stop and check out Lee's and I was not disappointed! It's like a cross between Total Wine and a liquor store. It's easy to park and go in, but the prices were actually lower than Sams and they have a huge selection of everything! Trust me, if you're looking to party, this is the place to go! I didn't have to time to walk around the store because I had a shuttle to catch, but it looked like they had everything you could possibly need. They had so many choices of premium alcohol, that I had a hard time finding the one I was looking for. They also had snacks, party supplies, coolers, novelty items and more! What can I say about a place that has a ton of flavored vodka and rum? I can say "Whoohooo, Fruity Beverage!". Baron Jaeger, a honey flavored, belly warming, yummy shot. Tastes like pure honey. There are many others, you'll have to wander and see what grabs your eye and yells "PUT ME IN YOUR MOUTH!". Aisles are just wide enough yo get a cart through, employees aren't over the top friendly, I imagine they deal with a lot through a shift so I cut them a little slack. This time we were having a mini staycation at the Southpoint and decided to pick up a six pack for the room before checking in. Lee's liquor has good prices when the item is on sale. This store is a bit small, and needs a bit sprucing up. But we are usually in and out and really could care less. The staff is okay, sometimes looking like they like to sample the product. We prefer Total Wine and More but it would of been a drive out of the way for us. read more

This store has the most useless, lazy employees who CONSTANTLY close early! Got here tonight with about 5 minutes til closing and the employee was standing by the door refusing to let anyone else in..2 other cars pulled up after me and tried to come in. They have done this on multiple occasions, I mean I'd be pissed as a business owner that you are costing me money. I as a manager have stayed a few minutes past closing at my job to accommodate my customers. They lost my business for good because directly across the street from me is Liquor Outlet, now those guys are amazing and will let you in with 1 minute til closing! I, along a side with four other cars, pulled up at 10:55 pm and the doors had just been locked as we were approaching the door. I've shopped at Lee's stores around the valley for over two decades. I can typically find what I'm looking for every shopping experience. If I cannot find what I'm looking for I ask and either an employee can find it for me, or they check their inventory [on a computer] and provide the status of that item (ex. not available, currently available at a different Lee's location). Recently I was attempting to find a specific wine and went to the location closest to my house. I'm including a review of the two locations I partroned along with this location as I was attempting to locate a specific wine and wound up going to three different Lee's locations before I finally found it. I first went to the West Lake Mead location and asked an employee about the wine who then looked it up and told me that it was available at only two locations. Before leaving I did purchase a couple of items at the West Lake Mead location; one item being a recommendation from an employee who was assisting me. A couple of days later I went to the Boca Park location that was closest to my house [out of the two that supposedly stocked the wine] only to be informed they did not have it in stock either. An employee again searched their database and I was told it was available at only one location in the city and that location is half an hour drive from my house. I was not thrilled about the drive but a few days later I trekked out to 9110 Las Vegas Blvd S location and was pleased that they did in fact have the wine I wanted. During check out I was talking with the cashier and she informed me that they/Lee's can order wine for me. I told her that I wasn't aware of that and that the employees at the other two locations never offered to do that for me. I'm glad she informed me of that service, but was annoyed that the employees at the other two locations never mentioned they could order the wine for me. During the checkout process she asked if I was a Lee's Rewards Club member. I never knew there was a rewards club available. I told her I've never been asked before nor have been made aware that one existed. She signed me up. I had a very nice experience at this Lee's location and the employee (I cannot remember her name unfortunately) was extremely helpful. Now that I know, the next time I go to the Lee's liquor location closest to my house I will request they order the wine I was searching for so I don't need to travel across the city. I would give five stars to the other locations IF the employees at the other two locations would have made me aware that I could have had them place a 'special order' for the wine I was looking for as well as made me aware of the rewards club upon check out (I had purchased other items at the first location). Even though the rewards club and the service of ordering the wine I was looking for was never mentioned at the first two locations, the employees were courteous. read more

This review isn't about Lee's Liquors as much as it's about the store manager. I will never step foot back into this store again because the store manager has no social skills or managing skills. To say the least I'm pissed off. The scenario: I called a week early to make sure I would have a specific keg available too me for my birthday. Before I could get the complete question out the store manager cut me off, "We don't do anything over the phone." At that point I already had that little voice going off in me saying, "this guy is a screw-up." Still, I drove in so that I could make sure I would have my keg for next week. The employee I dealt with was very nice but then the store manager came over and started micromanaging and told me that we have two kegs and that there would be no problem. I wanted to leave a deposit but he said we sell one a month and this would not be a problem. Again, the little voice in me was saying this guy is a complete screw-up. Did I listen? No, and when I went into get my keg they were out. So, the party was in a few hours and I had to settle for a beer I did not really care for. Two things really bothered me, This guy could not apologize for screwing up. His ego was too big to admit that he handled the situation wrong. What really pissed me off is that this guy makes his employees feel inferior. His "I know everything attitude" and cutting his employees and patrons off shows he has no social skills or managing skills. I wasn't going to post this but I hoping the store manager reads this because no one is going to tell him what his faults are. He won't be able to improve himself. In short, his ego is going to create lots of problems in his life. My problem has been eliminated because I will never go back in. I do want to finish on a high note and that's I called another Lee's Liquor prior to this one and the manager was awesome. He helped me make sure that I would have had my keg available for my party. There are more than one location in Clark County so Yelp the other locations. Huge selection of everything! I went to check out there Vodka section and there must have been over 100 different varieties to choose from. They range from the affordable up to very expensive. For the most part they should have the one that you want. Inside the back of the store there is a private cellar. You will need to get an associate to open the door, but inside the cellar they have the premium brands. It is a liquor store so if you have any questions you can always ask an associate for recommendations. They are knowledgable and can recommend according to your want or taste. Yes this is Vegas, you should be focusing on gambling, partying or getting free drinks but buying your liquor and going to the room might be the only way if you need to take a breather for the night. This place is the Vegas local BevMo a good stop before you hit the strip. It was WEEELLLL stocked and had some decent prices. The big bottles of Barefoot are $8 and they had good vodka prices. The wine aisles are tight so don't bring the kids or your booze bill will be insane. When me and my cousin were perusing the booze selection, we were looking for a specific wine and there was no one to ask. There were two people working there( that we could see) and they were talking up at the register messing around. Doesn't hurt that it's on my way home from work so it's the perfect pit stop to make if I need anything. They usually have sales for various wines so it's hard not to walk out with a few bottles! I came here quickly to pick up some goodies before a Christmas party. There was a guy towards the beer cooler mopping up someone's New Years resolutions who was so nice. He totally took the time out to answer some questions and make some recommendations about beer. This is what I love about Lee's. When I got home my friend noticed I was charged for a CASE of Rockstar for each ONE! Since I have such a terrible memory, I could never remember to go back to Lee's to show them my receipt.
