Support this small family owned liquor store if you're in the area. The owner and his family are super nice and personable. They are the only surviving business behind Cactus Jacks. I've watched business's open and close here and I'd like this one to survive. It's very convenient, on the Southern end of Maryland towards St. Rose. I've been to a few parties over here where we needed to pick up wine or beer really quick and Mr. Liquor was right there. Even though they increase the price of liquor that I buy, $1 more, compared to Lee's, they are a convenient, small business and you need to know what to get and where to go. I walk straight to the wine fridge and pull out 1.5L of wine. Yes, they have bottles in the red wine section, not the fridge that have alittle dust on them. I think they over bought wine. I always go to the fridge so it hasn't ever bothered me. Also I have seen some very entertaining things in the parking lot... teenage girl sitting in a shopping cart alone, on her phone, a person ran into the liquor store w/o shutting his car door lol. Found this place coming into Vegas looking for Roscato red wine. Sure enough he had bottles. Paid less than $11 for a bottle which they usually run for about $13-15. Customer service was solid. They charge you different than the posted price. 10.99+10.99+8.99 doesn't equal $36.99 even with tax. I did the math quick in my head but I didn't wanna deal with it over a few dollars worth of theft cause I was in a hurry. If there's a next time it won't happen again. Selection is decent so I gave it two stars. Stop ripping people off and maybe you'll get 5. Oh and of course he didn't offer a receipt. This little shop is like a hidden gem. I work right behind them and I'm always walking over to their shop on my breaks for some candy or some sort of drink. The best part about this place is it's one of the few places on town that carries Arizona Tea: Red Apple Green Tea! The guy who runs the shop even ordered me a whole case at one point for me to buy from him. I am always sending my customers over to this little convenience store because they have more variety of snacks and drinks and are actually cheaper than our vending machines. read more

Yes the price is a bit more than Lees liquor but this is a convenience store. Do u expect to pay walmart prices at 7-11? Its a family owned biz and the owner works behind the register most days. When he's not there a different member of the family is there. It's the only liquor store near my friends house so were here often. The negative reviews for Mr Liquor are rediculous. read more

This is the saddest little liquor store. Possibly the saddest one ever. Despite it recently re-opening or whatever, the inside looks like a place that is going out of business. And it is much closer to a convenience store, than a liquor store. There are small aisles of chips and candy. There is a wooden wine rack wall that is 98% empty. The beer selection is limited. There are some things that you won't find at your typical convenience store, but it's mostly a Bud and Miller place. And I can't say that I even recall seeing any other alcohol there. And the prices are higher than other liquor stores in the area. So, um, why bother? read more

I walked into Mr. Liqour which is near to where i live. I was blown away by how many different types of alcohol they had! They also had a variety of sizes of liqour to choose from....which is great since most liqour stores such as, Lees Liqour only offers large sizes; where as at Mr Liqour i was able to buy a pint of Jack Daniels. My favorite thing about this place is that it offers real CUSTOMER SERVICE! the guys that work there are very kind. They even ordered a type of alcohol just because i asked for it! I disagree with the other reviews. This liquor store has everything you need to satisfy your needs. The owners are a husband and wife team who go out of their way to make their customers happy. They have special ordered liquor for a party I was having and they even went so far as to deliver at my door step. You won't find that kind of special service at Lee's or anywhere else in town.
