Great fish and chips. The French fries stay crispy and hot every time we have ordered carry out. Highly recommend them for great food and fast service.

Some really good food our waitress took great care of us Thanks. Started with a Flaming Cheese OPA n Cup of Veggies Soup spot on. She had a Double Smoothered Chicken n Rice Wonderful. Me n Daughter shared the Mega house Burger and House Made unique Hash n Eggs. A cup of really great Sausage Gravy WOW. The bad didn't feel the Love that others talk about, owner on the grill wanted 4 bucks to add a scoop of Loose Burger to Bowl of Chili, he's nuts and never heard of a Chili Special most places have for under 5 Bucks. Charged 5 bucks for Xtra Chicken just likes to charge outrageous prices for additions NOT GOOD.

The food is your standard Coney Island food, a little bit less expensive. But where this place really shines is the staff, they are phenomenal in their efficiency and attitude. If you're in the area I would definitely give this place a try

Very good little restaurant. Food is very cheap and you get a lot. Highly recommend the stir fry and their breakfast food.

This place is the jam! Delicious and affordable ($1.99/2.99!) breakfasts and "salty" waitresses! Feels like an episode of Seinfeld!

From what I've seen, they do a good amount of carryout orders with the Ford plant being so close by.

So when I saw Gyro Gods in my search results, I knew a visit was in order, despite the distance and road construction. The restaurant is relatively new, but the parking lot has seen better days. Although I'm not a high-tops person, I like the seating options: a long counter for grabbing a quick bite and the larger tables for spending time with friends. The ordering line is toward the back, facing refrigerator cases filled with soft drinks and shelves of snacks. I always enjoy trying a bit of everything, which is what I found here. The gyro pita was grilled for extra crispiness and filled with lamb/beef, tomatoes, onions, fries, and tzatziki sauce. Chicken, chevapi, and veggie are other sandwich options. The lamb/ beef filling was flavorful and plentiful. I ordered Greek fries, even though some came in the sandwich, and I am so glad that I did. The fries were topped with tzatziki sauce, crumbled feta, olive oil, and oregano. Fantastic. I liked that the hot fries complemented the coolness of the tzatziki sauce. It might be better served separately so the contrast in flavors is more pronounced; the sauce warmed up from the fries after a while. The bougasta was also delicious. Served hot, I enjoyed the creamy custard encased in flaky pastry, and liberally topped with cinnamon and powdered sugar. I was too full even to sample the small tzatziki, served with a griddled pita. Oh, well, more for a midnight snack. The order taker/food preparer/server was friendly and answered all my questions. Despite these positives, I found the total price to be very high, significantly higher than expected.

We were promptly served drinks and a waitress came by and asked if we needed more time to figure out what we wanted. We said yes. After a few minutes she came back and took our order. We ordered an appetizer and two meals. The appetizers must have been done with the Star Trek hydrator, it came out that fast. The appetizer was good but before we could finish putting some of it on our plates the two dinners came out. I fully believe that they have Star Trek equipment in the kitchen. They are that fast. Food quality and quantity were both good. Presentation was also good. Prices seemed reasonable. A fair amount of customers came in and others weee leaving. You could tell by the dress and mannerism's in that they were locals. Noise level (which for us is a deal breaker) was not loud. So let's recap: clean bright atmosphere with views of the outside, good food, which was made and came out by some sort of futuristic equipment, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff. So what do I think. Give me a minute to process all this . . . . . OK, we will go back. Certainly not fine dining but if you want good food in a good atmosphere go here.

We ordered the mini breakfast with one egg, two slices of bacon and hash browns $4.95. We also got the corned beef hash with two eggs, toast & jelly $8.50. Honestly, it's kind of hard to mess up breakfast items. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. It was my third time having grits and it's still meh to me. It's kind of like oatmeal, but more grainy. We placed our order and when the food arrived, all of us where excited. The food looked and tasted great. Hats off to the chef. We had a table full of pancakes, French toast, eggs, bacon, sausage, and drinks. By time we were ready to go, the waitress seemed in a better mood. Maybe she was having a rough start to her day. I commented on her earrings to make her smile. Although the experience wasn't the best initially, we all have "off" days and i wont hold it against them. The food is delicious and I will be back.
