Let me preface this review with two things; first, I fully understand that my experience was from one of the busiest nights of the year for this location; second, my family has been in the restaurant business for over 60 years. My husband and I frequent lees kitchen because we are vegetarians and they are always happy to substitute tofu for any meat dish. I called yesterday to place an order, after going through everything we wanted I asked if they would be able to make a certain dish and substitute tofu for meat, I was told no because it was "the busiest night of the year". I was a little taken aback, but understood ? I ended that call having placed everyone else's order but nothing for me because "it was the busiest night of the year" and they couldn't be bothered. I looked up their menu online and chose one of the same old boring veggie dishes that every other place has, and that I've eaten a million times. I call back and asked to add something to the order I had just called in, and was told that they weren't making combination plates BECAUSE ITS THE BUSIEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR. I was so perturbed at this point that I wanted to lessen their burden and cancel the order I had just placed, or better yet not pick up my order at all. I did pick up my order though and it was AWFUL. They were clearly just heating up food and pushing it out the door. This place is by far the saddest excuse for a Chinese Restaurant. I'm Chinese so I know what Chinese food is suppose to taste like. NOTHING here taste like it AT ALL! I know this place serves Americanized Chinese food but even then, I'd NEVER go back. I much prefer Wah Sing over them. I've ordered the pork fried rice, chicken fingers, and crab ragoon a few times. It has no flavor what so ever. The food is not fresh and all I taste is the MSG. The fact that there are no actual Chinese working in the kitchen makes you wonder why it's even claiming themselves to be a Chinese restaurant. read more

I don't know why Lees doesn't have 5 stars. It's the best Chinese around , my family loves Chinese . I live in Millis and drive all the way to get it . Medfield, Medway , Bellingham, Millis and Milford have nothing but disgusting Chinese . I almost didn't eat it because people I knew said they didn't like it. I have my friends and family hooked. The food is ALWAYS fresh. Pick up is quick when you order ahead. DELIVERY is always on point . There will be a longer wait most days because they are so busy. They deliver to A bunch of towns. Just not mine :( there polite. The boss is awesome. You can see the kitchen and the cooking station. The cooks always have clean uniforms. & if they get anything on them they change . I normally won't give a business a one star rating, but Lee's Kitchen would get zero stars if I could! My wife and I always see the delivery drivers all over town, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered generals chicken, which was disgusting! It was spongy and the batter tasted like a donut (but not in a good way since this was supposed to be spicy, crispy chicken). Everything else was just mediocre and bland. I would not recommend this restaurant. If you're craving Chinese food, your best bet is definitely Bamboo House or Wah Sing!!! read more

Let me start off by saying that we have ordered Chinese food from Lee's Kitchen for many years. We had always enjoyed it with no complaints until about six months ago. The food we had delivered was horrible, it was stale, old and had absolutely no flavor. We pretty much get the same thing every time so it wasn't like we were trying something new and just didn't like it. We were very disappointed but since this was our first bad experience we thought that they might be having an off night and decided to give them one more chance. Well, last night was the last chance that Lee's Kitchen is ever going to get from our family. Once again the food was awful, it tasted like cardboard. I'm not going to spend my money on food that is not of good quality. It's too bad because the food used to be great. I love this place. They use quality ingredients and the spareribs are not fatty. I hate that. The customer service is excellent and they always send a free sample of something with your order (I think if it's over $30 order) last time we got a free order of general gaus chicken. Nom Nom read more

I live in Taunton (where there is no longer any good Chinese food) and drive past Franklin going to and from work. I ordered from Lee's on a whim when I jumped off the highway to run an errand in the same plaza on my way home from work. That was over a year ago and I've order from Lee's regularly since (about every 2 weeks) ... it is my go-to take out Chinese food - it is REALLY good. read more

We love Lee's Kitchen! Never had any issues. Food is always good, they have delivery which is a plus they say 45 mins but are usually to my house in 30 mins. Staff is very polite. My favorite is Chow Foon, the children like General Gaus. read more

This place is awesome. Its delicious, the people are friendly and if the New England Patriots players in the area like to eat it all the time it has to be good! I drive all the way from Grafton just to pick it up! My personal favorite is the Beef Satay, which is always made fresh to order. Good food and reasonable prices. I would avoid anything with cashews as they tend to be almost burnt. The crab Rangoon are tasty and the beef dishes flavorful. You are always greeted pleasantly and when they recognize you as a repeat customer they might offer you a free two liter of soda or order of chicken wings. read more

We waited over an 1 1/2 for our meal and then called to see what the delay was. After a back and forth over the phone they told us the driver was stuck in traffic. The place is 1.9 miles from where I live. We called back 15 minutes later to request a discount and they told us the food just left. And the background conversation informed us everything was a lie because they didn't know they admitted to us they screwed up our order. We love Lee's Kitchen! For like $13,we can both eat dinner in the parlor in our jammies in front of the tv. Life really doesn't get much better if you don't feel like cooking and don't feel like going out if it's crappy out. Plenty of food, they're quick, and it's always yummy. read more

Great food and quantity for the price! Not too greasy either. The crab rangoon were a little too sweet and soft for me though.

Two complaints: 1. Most of their entrees are LARGE only. For one person way too much food. 2. Sweet and Sour Chicken was chicken fingers with sweet and sour sauce on the side. Vegetable Lo Mein and Vegetable fried rice were good. Spring rolls were good. We will have to try other options in the future. read more

The food is extremely greasy and is as Americanized as "Chinese" food gets. I ordered take-out once and there was an item missing, so we called and they wouldn't refund us for the missing item. The man on the phone was very rude. The rice was cold and not fresh. The worst part was both of us ended up with a case of the "throw-and-goes." OK. Let me start by saying that I have had take out several times from Lee's & it has been horrible, but I wanted Chinese food & Bamboo was closed, so decided to give it another chance. Definitely a mistake on my part. I ordered lettuce wraps which was ground up beef with mushrooms in a brown sauce that was not at all good. So then I tried the spicy green beans with meat. The pork , was, once again ground up in the beans & there was not any " spicy" at all. In fact it was quite sickeningly sweet. So I called to complain. I was told it had spice in it, a mild spice. Well, when there is a hot pepper next to the menu item I expect it to have some real heat. So I told her that I did not taste even a mild spice in it. I said I see no peppers in it. She said I should put some hot sauce in it because that is all they do anyway. She also offered me a discount on my next order, which certainly would not be necessary because I will never order from there again. I was not offered a refund. The meal went in the trash. I do not understand how I continue to see the delivery cars so frequently around town. I honestly need to go chew some gum to get the taste out of my mouth. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Just ordered from Lee's, but probably won't again. Their peking ravioli were fine, although the sauce had a little too much ginger. The crab rangoons weren't inedible, but nothing like what I would expect from crab rangoons. My husband tried 1, I tried 2 and that was it. Throwing out the rest of the box. Doesn't taste like crab rangoons, hardly any crab, but some sort of veggies and not much filling. Husband had steamed chicken and veggies, which were fine, but didn't come with rice, which one would expect with this kind of dish. Probably will search elsewhere for delivered chinese food. read more

My family and I have been eating at Lee's Kitchen for roughly 13 years now. The food is consistently good....I haven't had a bad meal ever! After reading some of the poor reviews I am really shocked. Whenever I'm in the mood for Chinese food, Leah's kitchen is my go to place. Most of the time their food is amazing. As long time residents of Franklin my wife and family have always enjoyed the Chinese food from Lee's Kitchen. The food is always fresh and delicious with ample portions. The service is as good as it gets - always cordial. No other restaurant in town has consistently offered free food for regular customers near the holidays. read more

Tried this place when we stayed in Franklin and it was delicious. They included a small container with a note that said free lettuce wraps, never had one before so I was happy to try it, they were awesome. Beef fried rice had tons of beef chunks in it, most the time places never give large amounts of meat in their fried rice. Ordered online and had it delivered right to our hotel room, very quick service. read more
