I was impressed for a crappy little building to be so good. The food is a great filing dinner and would prefer it for a Thursday night after doing something fun. The building is a very small white building in Ogden that no one can fit in. Never go on a weekend you will not be able to fit. If you have never heard of Lee's Mongolian BBQ what you do to get your food is to try to fit as much meat vegetables and sauce on as you can in a little bowl. Then the get your bowl throw it on a grill thing and push it around with a stick. This is not a good place for going on a date, a family party or birthday, nor a planned dinner it's just pretty much a place that your close enough and hungry. I'm not saying their food is bad in any way it is actually pretty good it's just the atmosphere and small building that make it a two star. read more

If you like the "hole in the wall" type place, then you will like this place. The ambiance is that of a tiny restaurant with good food. I have been there several times and for Mongolian BBQ it is the best for Ogden (especially since it is the last in Ogden). The staff are great and deserve a good mention. However the food selection is sparce and at times there is a lot of what little they have that is empty. But hey it is meat with veggies and all you can eat. Don't need much more. read more

Took a friend of mine here for her 1st time at this kind of restaurant. She/WE really enjoyed our lunch. It is a very inconspicuous store front, it looked empty as we drove by....BUT, was nearly FULL when we went inside. The wait staff was very friendly and cheerful. We Walked in, seen what people were eating...not much. Looked at the menu....noticed we could only get chicken? But I felt like having beef. Then I noticed the prices.... kinda high for only one pass thru. No one seemed to have much in their already small bowl. We sat down to ponder.. I thought I am pretty hungry and that might barely fill me up but I don't think that I would be satisfied settling for that price. Before the waitress could bring us water, we left that place in the freakin dust! Don't get me wrong, I was hungry but I'm not about to eat what they want me to eat at that price. I want to want to have more options. I enjoy eating out and I can tell you just by looking at this place, there is better grub out there! Wooo so its on the main drag. Listen to your taste buds people and go after some good food. Oh yeah don't forget to yelp it, so we can all find it. Most of all be honest to yourself and don't settle for slop. Unfortunately my family and I had a horrible experience, my wife got sick and the food was awful. I was out in ogden for an expo for my children and decided to look up a local favorite. I really hope this isn't what Ogdenites consider a favorite. There was nothing mongolian there. You are given a 12 oz bowl which you fill with frozen meat your choice of grated potatoes onions spaghetti noodles and this is all cafeteria style btw, so in the end you have 5 buckets of slurry to season your food with, which ketchup would have done better flavoring, finally a woman at the end, barely stir fries it. It isn't hot enough to sear the meat so your food just simmers in juices. After you sit, they bring you 1oz of rice per person and a bill of 12.99/person. And for only $1 Dollar more per person I could enjoy that horrible process, service and food as much as I want (all you can eat)? No thanks.Trust me. Wendy's would have been better for a 3rd of the price. read more

Passing through from Montana to California and found this gem of a place. Great reviews on yelp brought me here and I was not disappointed at all. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a super friendly man who asked if it was our first time. This is the best mongolian we have ever had. We have been coming here for 30 years. Yep, 30 years. However, I am disappointed lately. They have raised their prices again and it is already a little more spendy than most places for this type of restaurant. It isn't fancy inside and it is mostly serve yourself other than soup and drinks brought to the table. You can choose to pay for one time through the line or you can choose the all you can eat. Be aware however, that if you choose the all you can eat they don't allow you to take it home even if you only do a second bowl and eat half of it. I get it, that they don't want you to take advantage of them and take a heaping amount of food home but if you pay for all you can eat I don't see the problem with taking half of the 2nd bowl home. Last time we were there we handed our tip directly to our cute waitress because she was really good with our service. The older woman who works at the restaurant, maybe is part owner, came over to her and the girl handed all of that tip to the older woman. Maybe they all share tips but we wanted all of that tip going straight to our waitress because we felt like she did a great job. Friends of ours were there last night and they said that two of the men in their group paid for all you could eat and as they went through the line the second time they felt like they were closely watched over and when they asked to take part of their second bowl of food home the waitress only brought a takeout container to the wife who had had one bowl of food. They had to ask again for two more takeout containers and they felt like they got dirty looks from the owners. We like the food but the last few times we have been there we have felt like it was too pricey for what we ate and under appreciated as a customer read more

This place is awesome. You get to pick what u want. You also get really good rice and these bread things. You also get to go to a place where u pick what u want in your bowl. Like meats, vegetables, and sauce stuff. Then you get to give it to a cook and they cook it and give it to u. You can also get seconds!!! Suggest this to everyone read more
