I was totally tempted to go with a 4-star, but heck, whatever I didn't like was my own choice. Lee's held up their end of the bargain. Fast, pleasant service, relaxed atmosphere, fresh food...Kyla was great, and when asked, told us how to separate our tip for cook & her. Drinks never went dry. Hunting for something new on a Saturday afternoon around 1P and Husband craving Mongolian grill type food. Yelp showed Lee's (yay for Yelp!) & we had to go. Little skeptical on location when we arrived, but go in - you won't be sorry. $14.25 one time through, $15.25 unlimited. You aren't billed until the end, so you can choose if "once is not enough." Includes egg drop soup, pocket bread (really unusual choice but tasty) & rice. I thought the soup was bland, but Husband, who traveled and lived in several Asian locations, thought it was original and perfect. Was happy to have locals in front of us - young men (brothers) who said their mom had been bringing them since they were kids and taught them how to make their bowls, so they shared their secrets to the best way to get what you want in one bowl, as well as their sauce recipe. Think about that - they are now spending THEIR money to eat here. In fact, most of the people we saw come in - and it was a steady stream for a middle of the afternoon Saturday - were locals, not tourists. Crab wontons - fantastic! Thumbs up from Husband too. Egg rolls - different. Loved insides, but the breading they use on the outside was puffy and messed with my texture issues. I chose pork as my meat, though I now understand after talking to friends, I could have asked for elk or Bison, had I been "in the know." I did lots of veggies, no noodles. Husband did chicken & beef w/noodles. Both were delish, but next time I will pass on the recommended curry sauce. One bowl was plenty, which means if you don't like it, you only lose $15. Be adventurous.

All you can eat! Added our favorite egg rolls.

We've been enjoying Lee's for over 40 years. It hasn't changed much over the years. We just love it.

Like so many others from the area, my friends and family have eaten here since we were small. Other Mongolian BBQ places have come and gone and some local Chinese restaurants have tried to add Mongolian BBQ to their menu but none can ever match Lee's. Great Mongolian BBQ is all they do and they do it best! The egg rolls have changed like others mentioned but they are still okay. What you are really here for is the chicken / beef / pork and noodles you love so much! Family owned forever and you are made to feel like family whenever you show up... Check out Lee's if you never have and you wont be disappointed!

Misunderstanding of their advertisement. They said on the ad that it's all you can eat but the lady prompted me that it's one time dish?! I'm not coming back because the patrons there looked at me and I was embarrassed. I ended up paying for two dishes! Forget it. They need to make their advertisement clear! Typical Mongolian fare. Shaved meat and veggies to choose from. Been to a few other places in and out of state and the meat quality and veggies are good. The only thing honestly lacking were the sauces. Pretty bland for the most part. But this is your typical Mongolian type place. read more

A friend recommended we stop here and I'm so glad we did. Our waitress explained the menu very well and was extremely friendly. The food was delicious and priced very reasonable. Definitely enjoyed the wonton chips! New favorite spot in the area. read more

Great little hole in the wall that offers great Mongolian BBQ. The egg drop soup here is great. The fresh pocket bread is a great treat as well. The owner is a great guy taking time to show you all the offerings and making you feel like a valued customer. All of the staff is courteous and extremely attentive to each customers needs. This is a great place for bringing visiting family for a great dining experience. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME. I'm not one to use yelp. I'm not one to go and give people bad reviews. But I couldn't help myself. There was NO ONE in the restaurant but me and my girlfriend. It took 7 minutes for our waitress to come offer us water. We ordered and went up to the counter to receive our bowl. The meat was filled all the way to the bowl and when I tried to blousy it down to make room for noodles, the lady yelled at me! Not only that but the meat was so bland it wasn't even funny. Then another employee came in crying and our waitress went over to comfort her. Took her another 22 minutes , until I got up and asked her directly for a refill on our water. She said , "I guess." Literally would give this negative stars if I could. Pros: No was in there Cons: Staff are rude and unaware -Portions are horrible for the price -Food taste horrible -cleanliness of restaurant ... Horrible. -Everything about this place is Horrible. read more

Um, WOW. Place looks like nothing from the outside, but when you walk in, the wonderful smells take over and make you forget the sad state of affairs on the block. WOW. Try everything. Try all the sauces. Try all the proteins! OH WOW. Amazingly simple and so delicious. You pick protein, carbs, veggies, etc then add your personal combination of sauces (there is a guide if you want to follow) and then it's grilled right in front of you! wow. never the same meal twice! and, it's ALL you can eat.... love it. Didn't try the egg rolls... but the bread they serve is made by magical unicorns or elves, cause it was wonderful! read more

Lee's is a fabulous hidden treasure. The egg rolls are absolutely my favorite and I have stopped to grab a few for lunch. I prefer the pork meat with my bowl. Tip from years of coming back, smash your meat (& if you love garlic) go to the end of line and put the garlic on the meat , then jump back for veggies, noodles & other sauces. Then you don't have to worry about all the garlic sliding off the top. read more

I am a big fan of helping out local business, rather then corporate franchises. Lee's is a place that I would never have gone to if my sister hadn't taken me, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. We love to have contests to see who can pack the most food into the bowl without it toppling over. I highly recommend trying it at least once, you won't be disappointed. read more

Awesome food. You get to pick what meats, vegetables and sauces. So much food and sooooo good! The owner is such a nice guy. He will walk you through how everything works and explain what the best options are. I loved it! My husband also forgot his glasses and while we were leaving, the owner was walking out to find us and flagged us down to give them back. AWESOME customer service and awesome food. I cannot believe this place is rated higher than Mongolian Grill in Layton. Not only was the food overall worse tasting, but they have about 1/3 of the choices--not to mention they are MORE EXPENSIVE. Furthermore, both me and my wife thought the egg drop soup tasted like pool water. Anyone who is thinking of coming to this restaurant should drive 15 minutes further to have a much better meal. The only positive aspect of our visit was the service. I will admit that the entire staff was friendly. read more

I have been coming here since 1978 and have been thoroughly pleased every single time I walk through the door. Food items are always fresh and grill up so well with the available sauces and oils. I still remember when pasta noodles were added to the mix MANY years ago....What a GREAT addition!! The eggrolls are to DIE for and would make a meal of their own!! HIGHLY recommend Lee's!!! read more

They always have deals for free apps if you go to their website. Really good food and the trick is to stack it as high as you can with ingredients. Try the recommended mix sauces and you won't be disappointed. I've loved this place for many years and go back any chance I get when I'm in the area. read more

We drive the 45 minutes from Salt Lake City to Ogden just to get my Mongolian bbq fix! This is the original original Mongolian bbq place. We always have fun piling up the meats, vegetables, and condiments. The flavor from the huge grilling surface is just unbeatable, I think it gets better with the years. We also love the egg rolls, nice and crispy and greasy. I am glad they are back. The copycats at the Chinese buffets simply cannot compare! read more

I have been coming to Lees since the 80's! The place has "cleaned up" with a fresh coat of paint, but the food remains the same EXCELLENT! I have been to many other places in other states some fancy, some not, but I have never found one as good as Lees. Of course a lot of how your food tastes is what you put in it :-) read more

I recently went here with a group of friends for the first time. The food was delicious, the service was mediocre. Took my husband there a few weeks later and the food was just as good and the waitress was excellant. I didn't LOVE the 'house' sauce it was a bit salty for me, I use and extra sweet sauce instead of soy and it made a difference. The owner/manager is a super friendly guy who is really entertaining! If it's your first time he will walk you through your dining experience and he loves to see you bring in new friends. We will keep going to Lee's read more

Then my husband and I split an entree of butter chicken because I knew that would also be safe for us white people who don't need to sit through Jurassic park with a burnt tongue or upset tummy. The jasmine rice that came with it was lightly seasoned and sooo good when slathered with the saucy butter chicken. We also got a side of garlic naan which was obviously a must. And everything together just hit the spot in my tummy that I didnt even know Indian food could deliver for me. We also ordered a mango yogurt drink. I didnt know that it had yogurt, so my initial reaction to it was that it seemed too warm to be a mango smoothie for how thick it was. But once I realized that it was supposed to be not freezing, my brain made better sense of it. It was very delicious. The host and servers were all super kind, and helped steer us away from dishes that would have been TOO spicy adventurous for us (like the lamb vindaloo). The seating was very nice. Super clean, and served water in stemware. It gives a more upscale, intimate vibe that was really nice for being on a double date with best friends and not having a grip of kids with us like we normally do. I still don't know how much I will personally ever crave Indian food. But I reckon if there ever was a place to make me seek it out, Red Fort will be the culprit.

Tokyo Tower definitely has found a new regular! The food and service were absolutely phenomenal. Portion sizes were excellent on all dishes, and most importantly, the fish was fresh! I particularly enjoyed their take on Mussel Shooters. You have the regular ponzu, scallions, mussel, sriracha, and quail egg. Then they add an abundance of salmon roe (Ikura) that gives it a slight fishy taste yet wonderful combined flavor. There was a spicy tinge left on my tongue afterwards which makes these easily a 10/10 for me. The Unagi Don had very fresh eel and though those bowls usually take me one or two days to eat, it was all gone in one sitting before I even finished my entire lunch. Spider Roll was absolutely incredible and huge. Definitely looking forward to trying other rolls here in the near future. Fried Crab Meat Strips lacked on the "spice" that they were supposed to have so that was a bit of a letdown. Overall I was very pleased with my visit and with both the courtesy and attention to detail from the employees. Definitely planning on a future visit very soon and would highly suggest other sushi lover's try this amazing restaurant.

The sushi menu was an excellent option, comparatively to some places that I've been to with a greater number of types of fish available. They also had an area in their menu that had lunch specials, which seemed to offer excellent value. Service was prompt and friendly and professional. They came to the table a few times to check on me and make sure that I had everything that I needed at the end. They brought the bill to my table. I checked out there and the damage wasn't near as close as to what I thought it was. The food itself was simple, but well presented. I was happy with the selection that I received, which included four pairs of sushi and a Hamachi Kama. I also had a pot of green tea with my meal. I would've added an extra teabag for the amount of water they gave me. Overall, I highly recommend Tokyo tower to others and believe you will enjoy your meal here

This was the worst experience I have ever had at Lee's. This place use to be so much better. My daughter got chicken with vegetables. The chicken was under cooked. So we asked for it to be reheated. The waitress threw it away and told us to get another. No worries we don't want food poisoning. So we get another bowl. The chicken was again not cooked all the way. I asked another waitress if they can just heat it back up again. The waitress was upset and walked off with total attitude. Next thing I know the cook at the grill comes out and tosses the bowl on the table saying we should have told her to cook it longer. They should know the temperature of chicken. Salmonella is something they should be concerned about especially with children. Not a good experience at all. I'm not happy about spending $97.14 for 5 people for a meal that was mediocre. If you've ever been to a different Mongolian BBQ, you'll regret going here. Very small selection of veggies and sauces. No corn, no peas, no broccoli, no beans. For sauce, all you have is soy, sweet, vinegar, garlic, curry and oils. Spend less, and go to the HuHot. read more
