I ordered a small chicken lo mein and asked for no oil which it had. The portion for close to $8 for a small was disappointing, but not as much as the taste. I recently discovered Lee's Palace and am very impressed! They deliver all the way to my house, appear to have a nice inside area (I picked up but have not dined in), provide great service and have excellent Chinese food! So far have tried their spring rolls, orange chicken, mongolian beef and pork fried rice and all has been wonderful with excellent quality! We will be happy to continue visiting Lee's Palace! read more

What a wasted opportunity. Did takeout last night on a Saturday and it was empty. They charge a few dollars more than the Chinese norm which is fine if you deliver quality. The main dishes and fried rice were very good but the wanton soup was basically rung out brown mop water with two wantons and nothing else. Seriously, zero pork, greens or anything else. To make matters worse they chince again by substituting an egg roll with a small spring roll which was as baron as a womb after a hysterectomy. Portions were not as large as other Chinese places. Do the owners have no shame? The empty chairs on Saturday night represent the people you aren't fooling. Central Florida remains a collective bastion of the worst Chinese food in the country. read more

While we were in the area, we decided we wanted chinese food for lunch, and this place had the best reviews in the area so we gave them a try. The shop has a hostess counter and a small dining room with like 10 tables in it. All in all, we really like the way the restaurant is decorated. They have a couple of really cool benches and chairs that have some awesome patterns on the fabric. The hostess was doubling as the waitress. She was very polite, and was very attentive, even though she had to also cover the phones and the people coming in to pick up their orders. She took our orders quickly, our food came out quickly (while it was still nice and hot), and our drinks were refilled quickly. The food itself was pretty awesome. We had the krab ragoons, which tasted awesome. So many places nowadays sweeten the cream cheese in their ragoons, which I am not a fan of, but not this place. Their ragoons are just how i like them. My wife got the beef and broccoli and I got the general Tso's chicken. I tried a few bites of my wife's, which was very tasty, but my General Tso's Chicken was truly the highlight of my experience. It was fresh white meat chicken, and it was nice and tender, with a slight crispiness. The General Tso's sauce was great. It actually had spice to it, which i greatly appreciate. I can't stand how many places now adays either sweeten their General Tso sauce, or just make it way too bland. Not Lee's, theirs was nice and spicy. Our meals also came with spring rolls, which I am normally not a fan of, since most of the time all I can taste is the carrots. Lee's spring rolls are actually incredibly tasty tho. The outter shell is nice and flaky, and the filling has really good fresh flavor too. All in all, an awesome experience. We were in and out in about 35 minutes. I ordered Mongolian beef! What a disappointment paid almost 13 dollars and first the container is small the portion ridiculous then they lay the beef with onion on top of a layer of crispy rice noodle-to make it look like there is lot in that little bowl! The taste not even close to what I am used to! Did not even have that beef smell nor taste ! The white rice in a small foam container good for a person! Maybe! The place is family friendly and the environment is very relaxing. The wait is honestly not that long and my orders are always on point. Their delivery service is awesome - they deserve great tips and pick up tips as well. The ones who deliver always always bring extra necessities when needed! We have ordered from them twice and absolutely love the food. We had pepper steak and egg foo young. They put a lot of steak in there not like other places that fill it up with peppers and it was the best I ever had. The egg foo young and fried rice was excellent. The customer service is better than the other restaurants we order from. I ordered online but had to call in with a question and the were so courteous and helpful. The order was perfect and exact to our special requests and delivered quickly, hot and very friendly. I found this place because it was recommended by the desk clerk at the hotel I'm staying at. I ordered one of the dinner combinations of pepper steak, pork fried rice, wonton soup and egg roll. You have to make an order of at least $15 for delivery, so I also ordered a philly roll. I love sushi, I love chinese, and I don't have to get out of my pjs. That's a win/win as far as I'm concerned. I suppose that makes it a win/win/win - but not for the delivery guy, who looked like he stepped out of a taping of Glee. Delivery was promised 45 min - 1 hour. Arrived in just over 30 minutes. The first thing I tried was the soup - I firmly believe it is the best wonton soup I've ever had. The pepper steak was fantastic too!! Not good. Ordered Egg Foo Young...asked not to be greasy...full of grease on bottom of container. The Wanton soup had absolutely NO flavor. The Foo gravy is terrible! I found Lees Palace on Yelp, and it was the only place that I could find that had walnut shrimp! But overall I ordered the house fried rice and walnut shrimp. The rice was to die for the chicken in it was juicy chunks and I kept going back at it all night. The woman I talked to over the phone was very helpful in helping me figure out what they had to offer and their proportions to fit my party. Delivery was about 35-40 minutes and I live by the mall so it wasn't very long of a wait. I could say this is my place of choice for Chinese. read more

Not sure what has happened to the food here. Used to be pretty good. Tonight the Orange Beef was over cooked, tough, bland except for a strong vinegar taste and not at all spicy. My husband had the Sweet & Sour Pork and questioned how anyone could get so much dough wrapped around such a tiny piece of pork. Our guests had Krab Rangoon & felt it was overcooked. They also had Sweet & Sour Pork & Chicken. Both shared my husband's sentiments regarding the tiny bit of meat with the dough. Our food was delivered quickly but without any condiments or fortune cookies. New cook maybe? Needs more training or a new career! read more

Yelp had great things to say about Lee's Palace nearby, so I put in a call for lunch delivery to the waiting room. The restaurant sounded incredibly busy in the background, and it was right at noon on a Friday, so I was expecting a 45-75 minute wait at least. Nineteen minutes later a delivery guy appeared. Friendly telephone interaction and fast delivery, and... the orange chicken was still steaming hot and super delicious !!! Lee's Palace is definitely the best Chinese food in the area! Being from New York, I'm very spoiled when it comes to food. I order in from here at least once a week and have never been disappointed. I usually get hot & sour soup, eggplant with garlic sauce, Kung pao chicken, moo shoo pork, spring rolls and walnut shrimp and everything is really delicious!! I moved not too long ago to Lake Mary, I tried a few Chinese spots and I was not impressed until I decided to look for more places and found this awesome restaurant! I wish I took pictures of what I had ordered but the food was so good I completely forgot. I ordered the Singapore noodles which had so much flavor! I wish I ordered a large portion of that instead. This place isn't as pricey as I thought it would be given the fact that this is more restaurant style than fast food. The quality of the food and the way they packed it was very organized and thoughtful. Definitely going to be a local at this place! read more
