Pretty damn good. The seafood and ceviche portions run light so watch out for that if you come hungry. The desserts come in the same portion as the entrees! The vibe is cool. Chill, laid back. Best cocktail here is the Luna Andina. Make sure to get it with Vodka. The place doesn't look like much from the outside but once you inside the place transforms. Not 5 stars today but I'd recommend. I came back 5 minutes later to update this to a 5 only because the bartender had the decency to tell me that they already included 18% gratuity on the check. I have never been to a place where they have disclosed that, unless I personally double check the ticket to see what was charged.

A friend and I went to Pisco Peruvian for dinner and had a wonderful experience. We sat on their garden patio which was decorated beautifully with greenery hanging from the ceiling and large ornate mirrors. We sat in a big round booth which was spacious and comfy. Service was wonderful, our server was friendly and answered all of our silly questions and didn't laugh at us when we butchered the words of the ingredients in dishes. She checked on us often and provided suggestions to make sure we got plates we would enjoy. The cocktail menu.....wow! It was so beautiful visually and the drinks came out looking just like the photos! They tasted great too! It's apparent that time and care went into every decision on this menu. As for food, we started with the croquettes. They came four to an order and it was the perfect amount of food to hold us over until our entrees came. Our entrees came out and we were both surprised by the portions! I got the Chaufa Charapa and it came in a beautiful stone bowl. The portion was huge, it just kept going and going! My friend got salmon and it was the biggest piece of salmon i've seen served at a restaurant. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and had leftovers to take home. Overall we were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of Pisco Peruvian and can't wait to return!

This is a hidden gem in Lake Mary that I would tell any local foodie to give a try. In an unassuming plaza we were super surprised upon the walk in. Great choice of starters and some well known Peruvian fare with some twists along the way. I went for the beef dish and it was delicious. Thanks to the team for the wonderful hospitality. Must give it a try!

The food was really good but I didn't like the business model that there were so many up charges since the food is already expensive on its own. For example, we ordered an appetizer of dip with chips. Other restaurants give chips refills for free but there were only a few chips included and we didn't know a refill would cost $5. Our server told us the 2nd time we asked for a refill and the refill wasn't even a lot of chips. The ambiance is really nice and upscale but the underlying penny-pinching business model seems like a mismatch for the vibe of the place. Also, when we went in the restaurant wasn't even a quarter full but they wanted to seat us outside which had bugs. We had to insist for us to be seated inside. The lady said there were reservations made so I gave them grace but the restaurant remained pretty bare for about the next hour. Then there was a photographer taking pictures of tables and he only went to certain tables- he didn't go to ours. It was a good first try but my family and I likely won't eat there again.

The ambiance? 28 stars The service? 10000 stars The food? Innumerable stars We stopped here for a quick day date and my God, I cannot wait to come back. Our server, Mauricio, was so pleasant and fast. He had excellent customer service-- kind but not overbearing, really helpful, and had great recommendations. We got the seasonal Grinch cocktail-- watermelon, pineapple, Tito's, and passion fruit foam. It was delicious. I got the ribeye anticuchero with truffle fries. I have really never had a better steak in my life. So tender, PERFECTLY seasoned, and a great portion. Same for the fries. My husband got their poke bowl. He asked for cream cheese on the side and then realized the bowl had little fried balls of cream cheese which every single poke place should do always. It was such a great touch. For dessert, we got the chocolucuma, which had a brownie base but a Peruvian fruit (that tastes like coffee) encased in chocolate. While we were enjoying that, we chatted with the bartender who gave us tips on making foam at home and let us try some he had made. We left feeling full, slightly buzzed, and VERY well taken care of. We can't wait to come back!

Good looking and tasty food, a bit pricey but super nice place. Drinks good, also a bit pricey but super friendly service. Heard good things, glad we went and will go back. What a nice place for a strip mall in LM Florida though!

TLDR: Great food marred by slow/lousy service. Chic environment with both indoor and outdoor seating. FOOD: I really enjoyed the food. I ordered the hummus (came with fried wontons to dip in the hummus instead of traditional vegetables or bread), vegetarian sushi & side of tostones. The food is VERY pricey for Lake Mary and Central Florida. The only thing I would change is adding a sauce with the side of tostones. It felt like it was missing something. SERVICE: The service was awful. They were nice enough, but the whole service was slow. We arrived at 12:15, and we were there until 2:15 pm during lunch on a Wednesday. They chalked it up to a large table of 10-12 people, but the large group (sitting next to us) got their entrees very early in our time at the table - before we had already ordered. The server spilled small puddles of water all over the table and didn't come back to clean it up. I ended up using a napkin to clean it up. Our appetizers came out quickly, but the entrees took forever. They apologized and offered dessert. We were a party of 5, and they expected us to share one dessert as a recovery for the disastrous service. That took even longer to get the dessert and then the check. The check could have been presented sooner, but instead, the server was putting tables back together and singing happy birthday to another table. We had to flag them down - just a prioritization issue. Would I go back? Absolutely not. What a shame. The food was great, but it wasn't worth the headache that came from it.

Such a great new addition to the Lake Mary scene. The vibes and decor of this restaurant are fantastic. Bright lights and beauty everywhere. The menu is extensive. We ordered drinks, the scallops app and a couple rolls. The food did not disappoint. Our server was also incredibly friendly and eager to answer any questions we had. My only gripe is the prices. It was on the hefty side for the portion but other than that no complaints. Also they have patio seating and i was told are dog friendly for well behaved, leashed dogs.

This Peruvian restaurant is absolutely amazing! They're serving bold flavors and delicious creations! The crispy rice is an awesome starter. The smoked salmon gives it a depth of flavor that contrasts well with the avocado mousse and cream cheese. I especially liked the chaufa de pato ahumado since the smoked duck was so juicy and flavorful on the fried rice - highly recommend this dish. The fried snapper was beautifully crispy, but I feel needs an acidic sauce on the side as the fish wasn't seasoned much. The yucca fries were so crispy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside - perfection. I will definitely be coming back to this place! The staff was very nice and the decor in the restaurant is goregeous!

Delicious food, fun atmosphere and fine dining level service. Driving past this place during the day I would have never guessed how much of a gem this place is. Amazing food and will be coming back. Jonathan was our server and he was great!

We recently celebrated a friend's birthday at Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar and had a great experience! Everything was amazing from the service, drinks, and food.. which I unfortunately forgot to take pictures of but I guess it was just that good The ambiance is really nice with both indoor and outdoor seating options. It is a little bit on the pricy side for sure so more of a special occasion spot. Everyone loved their appetizers, meals, and drinks.

    Duck Chaufa

Excellent place to eat and have a great time! Enjoyed the menu and drinks. I had the Duck Chaufa. My husband had Zoe's ado al Macho. Both delicious. We ate until we couldn't eat more. Portions are a good size. I ended taking home some of the Duck Chaufa because it was a lot of rice. Drinks were outstanding. Waitress Paulo was excellent offering plenty options and recommending based on our conversation. His service was excellent!! Ambiance is great at this place.

The restaurant was a little quiet when we arrived and we were greeted right away to a table. The staff were very kind and gave great suggestions. I ordered the gnocchi bolognese and it was very delicious. I had the limoncello spritz requested less sweet which came out perfect. My group also had the fiocchetti appetizer which was a nice balance of cheesy, sweet and salty. It's filled pasta bites of cheese and pear purée with a cream sauce and crumbled prosciutto. For dessert we all shared the chocolate lava cake with extra ice cream. The flavor was exactly what we hoped and it was nicely warm. We are excited to come back!

The server was friendly and knowledgeable, the owner introduced himself and was very pleasant and helpful too. I have a gluten allergy and they are very accommodating. They have a lot of options. Plenty of each ingredient and dressing! The Chilean sea bass was a great choice to split bc there was plenty for both of us. It is a 6 ounce filet and the sides were mashed potatoes and asparagus. He was nice but appeared to need more training to be up to par for the price point. The decor was nice inside but the location does not give a good first impression and cheapens the experience. It is located in an older shopping plaza and is unkept. I think they are trying for a speakeasy vibe but it isn't being pulled off. The second time we went, we made a reservation to listen to their live music with some appetizers and a cocktail. It was spontaneous as we found ourselves child-free for the night at the last minute. Upon arrival we were told that 'we have a dress code and shorts are not allowed.' Mind you, the dress code says 'no gym shorts' and we didn't have on gym shorts or athletic wear. We weren't dressed up but were wearing decent outfits and nice shoes (no sandals of any kind). Needless to say, there will not be a third visit. Do not recommend.

This is an interesting place. To be honest, I almost drove right passed it when I turned into the…read morestrip mall as it's next to Chamberlin. But there is a cute neon sign that's lit and says "yes this is the place". Pretty funny. So first things first: the location is weird. However the atmosphere and decor inside is very well done. You open the door and are immediately greeted by the host/hostess. It's dark and moody. You turn to the right and suddenly you are in a very swanky environment. You forget where you parked in no time. The drinks: bottle of Tapestry, bees knees with tequila since they ran out of gin. They also ran out of St. Germaine liquor son only two rounds of putting on the fits, the fireside cinnamon sip, an old fashion and a espresso martini. They were all deliciously hand crafted and made to order.. The food: we were a group of 6 ladies and we ordered the Georgia peach salad, the tomato bisque (soup of the day) homemade bread (supposed to be focaccia but was actually French bread), salmon, cheese wheel pasta with shrimp, lobster linguine (I believe), filet and the cheese wheel with filet. For dessert: some molten chocolate (which burned my finger to no one's fault by my own as they did warn me) and the apple pie. The standouts: Georgia peach salad and tomato bisque, salmon & the cheese wheel pasta. As well as both desserts. Additional note: the service was great. The attention to detail to accommodate our coats and purses was thoughtful The cons: who charges $3 for a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese ? The chef is Italian and didn't think that the lobster one should have cheese on it. That's strange. Was it worth the hefty price tag - probably not Would I go again? Maybe for their happy hour but probably not for dinner.

We heard about this place from our friends so when it was time to get the gang together- I said hey…read moreshould we go to Zacapa? She said YES! On arrival, the staff remembered my friend. They're like- cilantro allergy right? Hahahaha. Then they say us at two large tables in the back. Thank goodness because everyone had their kids so there were 5 adults and 4 kids. We had plenty of room back there for the kids to be kids. Our server was great. I had no idea they would tack on 20% tip to our bill, but she wasn't slacking. She was still earning that tip. She brought out chips and salsa and then got our drink order. That helped keep the kids occupied. My friend suggested the margarita flight- so I went for it. The menu is an iPad with pictures of everything but it's also a lot of clicking back and forth and kind of overwhelming. My friend loved the carnitas fajitas and got that again. She gave me a bite- the pork was in chunks but it was so flavorful and tender. I had the shrimp tacos- wow! There were four huge shrimp in each taco (3 tacos) so it was about 3/4 of a pound of shrimp or maybe even a pound! Mine came with a side of rice and beans- which you can adjust a little but not too many options exist. I did not want beans but I also did not want double rice lol. Hers came with the usual fajita stuff- lettuce, guac, salsa, cheese, and sour cream. Both dishes came with your choice of corn or flour tortillas The guys got the chicken fajitas and the molcajete, which came w the same platter of sides and tortillas. There was food everywhere. The kids got chicken tenders, black beans, refried beans, rice, white queso dip and macaroni and cheese. They all kinda shared and of course didn't finish their food. I think they got full on chips and salsa. The margarita flight I had has many choices for flavors. I got kiwi, coconut and blackberry. All were very good but all very sweet. They put a lot of syrup in there. I think you'd be better off just getting a regular margarita or one flavored one because the flight cups are smaller than typical margarita glasses. So if they're putting one squirt of syrup, it's probably too much for that little glass. So next time I'll just get the coconut margarita. They have churros and what not but we opted against dessert. The kids wanted ice cream from the place down the plaza (Violet's- it's great! See my review). We boxed up our leftovers (I couldn't eat all three tacos; I had one left, plus my rice and beans) and paid the tab. She was nice to split it up by family and I'm sure that was not easy! I did not use the restroom but most of us did. The restrooms look like singles but they're not. The women's has two stalls behind that door so don't get caught waiting in the hallway. Go inside. My friend's kid didn't wanna wait or couldn't wait so they went straight to the men's, thinking the women's was a one stall. Hahahaha. Parking is hard to find because it's a busy plaza. We had to park all the way down by Fishbones where the parking lot is a lot bigger. They have a front part of their restaurant which also has some bar seating and then that more quiet back room where we were seated. I would recommend this place. It's a little pricey for Mexican food but it's really good. (Also it's hard to mess us Mexican, I get it). I was impressed by the amount of shrimp in my tacos and the amount of pork carnitas and chicken fajitas they put on their platters. They also have quite a selection of flavors for their margs.
