Our server must've had several tables because we didn't see him very often. We started ordering drinks two at a time because we wouldn't see him for 20 to 30 minutes. The entertainment consisted of two women dressed up like disco balls and another person dressed up in a disco ball suit. They would walk around and dance. It was cool, but I kind of thought from the advertisement that there would be more. At the end, we waited for like 15-20 minutes to get our check and finally asked another server to get it for us. He told our waiter. We got our check and we all had 23% gratuity automatically attached to it. I wasn't aware that it would be 23% and had we had an attentive waiter, that probably would've been OK. I love La Brasa's ambience, but I feel like for those events they need more bartenders and/or servers. We all got different kinds of teas. Thai milk tea, passion fruit, and mango green/ black teas. The owner came to chat with us, and she was so friendly and helpful. She also mentioned that the teas are made fresh every day by steeping the tea leaves rather than using powder, and we could tell from how delicious and fragrant they were.
