After years of go between Lang's and Lee's these two places...I think the Lee's not keeping up their portion and taste but Lang's still maintaining their well.

Cheaper than Lee's. Fresher and more generous too with the ingredients. And the bread, it hits both aspects that make for good banh mi bread, a nice outer crunch, and soft insides. No complaints. The charbroiled pork (No. 4) is amazing. The No. 1 is really enjoyable as well. The jalapeños they use is also spicier than you would expect (which I loved).

I bought 3 items cost me $11 ridiculous expensive owner is Vietnamese not worth it plus they don't have that much selection

My favorite banh mi joint. They now accept credit card w a small fee. Be sure to go early if you want some for dinner as they close at 5:30 pm. Simple small diner.

I just started to discover this little gem due to Covid and the group I am in. SUPPORT OKC FOODIES. Omg. Lang's is a hidden gem! I love that they have baked goods, and homemade foods. It reminds me of eating in Vietnam. We go here twice a week to get our fix. I usually get the Banh canh gio heo and Tom, hubby gets the Hu tieu bo Kho, and my kids Get the rice plates. I've also tried the banh cuon and banh mi and they are all delish.

It's been a Lang time since I first came here. Cute little bakery in the middle of Chinatown Oklahoma City. I visited it a few years ago when I was driving through. It was closed the most recent time I was here. But then so was your sister's bedroom door.

Lang's Bakery is delicious. Here is an updated menu for those who are new. They take cash, Venmo and Zelle. No cards.... so come prepared.

$ Cash Only! Tucked away from busy Classen Blvd, you don't stumble upon Lang's Bakery and Restaurant. You search for Lang's because you have seen reviews of their Banh Mi. It is my favorite Banh Mi of all the OKC Vietnamese restaurants. Their baguettes are perfectly balanced with a crusty crunch on outside and soft texture on the inside. I prefer the pork banh mi. A tasty layer of a mayo-like spread is covered with pork and topped with cilantro, jalapeño slices, carrot and pickled radish. I can't find a better Banh Mi in OKC... but I haven't tried too hard. When I crave Banh Mi, I head to Lang's.

Not a very friendly place/people and not the greatest food. I don't normally write a bad review but....

The menu board had plenty of options that caught my eye, but I knew the mission when I walked through the door -- BURGER! I ordered the Oklahoma Smashie, a double smash burger with two beef patties, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles and Goose Sauce. This was a very tasty burger! The patties had those crispy edges you want from a smash burger, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the pickles and sauce pulled everything together. For my side, I went with the cucumber salad. I really wanted to like this one, but unfortunately it was the slight disappointment of the meal. It wasn't bad, it just didn't hit the same level as that burger. The Goose describes itself as a dive bar and sandwich shop, but I actually found the place pretty interesting. It has that comfortable neighborhood-joint feel -- nothing fancy, just a cool place to sit down, grab some food and enjoy lunch with a friend. Service was also excellent. The person working the counter was friendly, answered all of our questions and offered some great suggestions without rushing us. Overall: 4 's from me. The Oklahoma Smashie definitely delivered, and looking at everything else on that menu, I've already got a few reasons to come back. This one is absolutely getting a return visit!

I was quickly welcomed and put on a short wait but my 10-15 minute wait was more like 3 minutes. We both ordered a sandwich and tater tots as the side. The club sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. You can taste the quality of the ingredients. It had nice texture and the bread was perfectly toasted. It's a big sandwich and I took half to go. Tots were crunchy and golden brown. The macaroni pony was also delicious. We customized it at the recommendation of our waitress after trying to decide between several options. I would recommend giving this place a try. It was the perfect place to get a good meal while traveling thru town.

My mom ordered the Caesar salad without Parmesan. She said it was a little too spicy for her and didn't really taste like a traditional Caesar salad, so she probably wouldn't order it again. My other mom got the cheese curds and said they were really good, and my brother enjoyed his tater tots. I ordered the grilled cheese with tomato soup. The soup was delicious, and the sandwich had the perfect crispy, golden crust. My only complaint was that the cheese wasn't very melty--it tasted more like processed American cheese than a gooey grilled cheese. Even so, it was still really good. The atmosphere was relaxed, the waiter was friendly and polite, and all of the staff were welcoming. They also have T-shirts for sale, which was a fun touch. I'd definitely come back!

I ordered the salted caramel iced coffee, and it was fantastic . It's served with a sealed plastic lid and pointy straw so you get to start drinking it like you would a boba tea. I also got a Black Forest cake to go, and it was okay. It had good textures and was very light and airy. I was expecting something richer, so it missed the mark a bit for me personally. *Important things to know before going* A lot of the pastries are Asian inspired, so they have a very light and airy texture with a sweet yet understated taste. It still tastes great, but don't expect a super rich or dense cake. If you're looking for a cafe to work out of, this isn't the place for you. There's no stated rule against it, but it felt clear the bakery didn't want me working there, lol. No WiFi available and there aren't really any plugs at all for laptops. They also wouldn't heat up the savory bun, which was disappointing. It would've been much better warm, but the cashier said no and clearly didn't care. Service was speedy, but our cashier was unfriendly. The coffee was overpriced and too sweet, and it needed stirring--but you can't stir it with the boba lid. On top of that, we had to order coffee separately and pay twice, which felt inconvenient. Even after ordering at the kiosk, our hot coffee somehow came out iced... oops. (Yes, it clearly says iced on the receipt - so obviously we missed something.) We also had to clean our own table, even though it wasn't busy. There seems to be a lot of variety at first glance, but if you look closely, it's mostly the same bread--lots of red bean. On the plus side, there's lots of natural light and plenty of seating (at least when it's not busy). Overall, a bit disappointed. The prices lured us in, but this won't be a routine stop for us. It doesn't hold a candle to Tous Les Jours.

I ordered the Cuban panini with a side of Parmesan-encrusted button mushrooms. It's so hard to find anything close to Cuban bread, but this wasn't bad, and the panini was toasted nicely. There's only one problem: This isn't a Cuban sandwich. It's ham and turkey with pickles. I'll point the finger at myself for not looking at the menu closer. A Cuban HAS to be roast pork and ham, and the meat shouldn't be cold. I know this isn't Miami, but stop trying to pass this off as something it's not. As for the Parmesan-encrusted mushrooms, you might expect some bit of crust or breading with Parmesan. Nope. These were sautéed mushrooms with a glop of Parmesan (not entirely sure it wasn't Swiss) in the middle. If you wanted both, you had to get a mushroom, then bite off a bit of the no longer melted cheese. I'm not going to tell anyone not to come here. As ham and turkey paninis go, it was OK. But I can't help but think if they're trying to pass things off as something they're not, what else might not be as it seems?
