The bread here is super good got a salami sandwich and it was great the coffee was good but on the stronger side very strong roast flavor but still good

    Lee's Biscoff Coffee

Staff is nice, the coffee was authentic I wish they put a lil more sea salt foam but the ice is my fav part a true lees ice coffee !

This place is dirty!!! Not a chance they are a A rating it's nasty & not well kept!! Someone report them to the health department before I do! the man working was so rude and he was not smiling & staring at us while we looked at the menu. Would not recommend. Coffees good tho

My 2nd time here at Lee's and because my mom was craving their sesame balls so we made sure to order 18 - 3 of their 6 balls. It's sooooo good! I will be back just for these balls. Hubby got the #81 and these baguettes are sooo delicious, crispy and warm. And it was the 2nd time I got their banana pudding coffee. It has slices of banana, crushed up graham crackers and homemade whip cream.

$10 for pate in a used ham container.
    Andrew L.

I heard Lee's sandwich sells the pate by itself and i purchase one. It was $10 for 8 Oz of pate which seem kinda pricey but I dont know how much they typically go for. I was surprised when they gave it to me in a ham container which I think they use for their ham sandwich. I guess they dont have a dedicated container but I assume it is clean so not that big of a deal. On way home just out of curiosity I visited another Lee's sandwich on Van Buren right off the 91 and discovered they sell theirs for $3.99! When I told the cashier about how much the other location sells their, she was taken aback too. Now i understand all the negative reviews with them being real stingy on their pate. I would recommend everyone to visit the van Buren location over this place if they can.

    This is clearly not correct

Sandwiches are good coffee is good however I don't have one near me so I drove to this one on my way somewhere what a disappointment if I would have looked around before I ordered I would not hate heavy in here from the door to the seats to the table just dirty the ceiling how the hell do they have an a rating from the health inspector there is no way do not put your children in the high chairs they are disgusting none of the tables were cleaned off I have to put napkins down before I could eat the upholsteries are dirty on the seats all the windows have dust on them even when you sit down it's just Dusty this place needs a serious cleaning I don't even want to think about what's going on in the kitchen and then I just finished my sandwich

My leftover coffee after I took SOME of the ice out!

Can we give a place a negative 10? This particular location is straight trash. Door is busted. It stinks inside. It's dirty. I ordered a LARGE iced coffee. Got to my car and started emptying some of the ice out. By the time I emptied SOME of the ice, my cup was already down to 1/3 full and I hadn't even gotten through the ice or taken a sip. I go back inside and ask them to fill it some more and they refuse. I said well give me a refund. It hadn't even been 3 minutes since i left. They refused that as well. I asked a manager. He came over and didn't speak a WORD of English. So I told them to give me a refund or I'm calling the police. That's ridiculous! These people are hoodwinking my community. Don't patronize this location. They are crooks. Straight up. This is a warning. This location is DISGUSTING. Fix your door and sweep and mop and wipe the countertops down!!!

If I could afford it, I'd eat at this Lee's every single day until the end of time--no exaggeration. Their sandwiches? Perfection. Their coffee? A spiritual experience. Strong, sweet, and that soft top? Life-changing. I don't even fully understand what's in it, but I know I need it to survive. This particular Lee's is the one. Not every location hits the same, and believe me, I've tried others. But this spot? It gets it right every time. The bread is always fresh and the balance of flavors in their sandwiches is basically a love letter to my taste buds. This is my go-to place, my comfort spot, my "treat myself" moment when I'm having a bad day--or a good day--or just a day. If you're lucky enough to live near this location, do yourself a favor and make it your regular. I swear there's magic in that coffee. Real ones know.

Regular amount of pate spread but was charge for extra
    Vee J.

We paid for extra pate spread and they did not give us extra pate .. its a simple request and we paid for it but did not get it it wasn't busy there was not a lot of people there it was 9-930 am. We pent almost 70$ pay for extra but did not receive what we paid for. It's a shame. I do not recommend

We order from here quite frequently to have it delivered to the hospital I work at and the original coffee is usually the best thing they have! I am split though as our first couple orders the coffee was top tier and the sandwiches were so fresh and delightful! But our last order the coffee tasted burnt and the sandwich's were not made the same as they previously were. Mine in particular was made on a different bread the second time which took away from the bahn mi flavor. This is upsetting with how much we spend here. I probably would order the coffee again but I won't chance getting another sub par sandwhich for the price. Even my coworkers were disappointed the second time around ordering food. The pictures provided were from the first order which were phenomenal but second time the lettuce was old, bread was different and they were much smaller.

    Roaches

The store looked like it had been robbed. One of the glass doors was broken and covered by wood. The seating area has lots of tables and chairs to sit inside. All the racks were empty and there was barely anything in the food warmer where they have their egg rolls, banh baos, and pate pastries. The cooler had a few of their ice coffees. There were only two staff working in there. The girl taking the orders and getting the food to guests. The guy back there making the sandwiches and drinks. We didn't have to wait long for the food. We decided to eat there which was a big mistake. While we sat eating, within an hour, we saw 2 roaches. One was lying upside down moving by the sign. My friend discreetly told the guy in Vietnamese about the roach and he waited till everyone was served and brought a broom and pan to scoop it up. He said thank you and walked away. We felt sick and didn't want to eat anymore. Then we saw the second roach crawling around the back door and we decided it was time to go. I don't think this store is going to survive if it continues to go downhill. I'm so sad that this place has changed since they opened. There aren't that many Lee's Sandwiches anymore, so it's really sad to see it go downhill.

Haven't been here in a while but I went today and I'm honestly trying to figure out if they're lacking in quality and quantity. I feel like the banh mi didn't have much meat at all every bite was just a mouth full of the veggies. Kinda disappointed I hope this place doesn't go downhill.

Ask the Community - Lee's Sandwiches

Do they have a drive thru?

    No they do not.

    Is this place opened?

It's open now. Dining-in is open as well. ☺️ 10/04/2021

So are you guys gonna open up anytime soon I miss y'all?

    Open now 9/16/21

Any word on re-opening? Or does anyone have other recommendations on decent Cafe su Da, baguettes and banh mi in the surrounding area?

No, the nearest Lee's depending on where you are the Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, and Chino locations.

Is this location going to reopen? Does anyone know?

That's what many of us are wondering! I wish the owner or somebody there would fill us in. Because I know many of us don't enjoy going to different locations for our banh mi fix.

    Are they open now?

No :-( I went over there last week and they are still closed!

    Are you open now?

    Open now 9/16/2021

Do they serve banh mi for breakfast?

Hi Kristine, We serve Banh Mi all day from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

Is this place a good study/work spot? Are they ok with people purchasing an item and staying for a few hours?

It can be, the music is set and more loud if you sit towards the back where it is hidden. (You can always ask the cashier if possible to turn down the music as well.) There has been a lot of customers that will purchase food and sit there for hours…

I didn't want to enter any cafe very small/ with petite tables or judgement if I sat down for 1.5 hr to work on my computer. I bought a sausage croissant which was just ok, but still a nice quick breakfast item. I was able to sit in a comfy chair with an outlet source & table to conference in my meeting. I was left unbothered & comfortable the whole time, which I greatly appreciated. There are several lounge chairs, tables & areas to space out to work, read, lounge, etc! I would certainly return another day to try out their coffee menu and those earl grey lavender scones (wish I saw those first!!) The barista was kind & the atmosphere very pleasant!

SERVICE here is VERY BAD!…read more The service at Back to the Grind was genuinely one of the most unprofessional customer service experiences I've had. While I was in the middle of placing my order, an older gentleman wearing glasses abruptly walked away from me mid-conversation to speak with someone he knew. No acknowledgment, no "I'll be right back," nothing. I was left standing there confused and waiting while they casually chatted amongst themselves. At the same time, my husband approached another employee -- a young woman with very long black hair and a pink bandana (see pic)-- simply to ask for the WiFi password. Without even looking at him, she told him he needed to "buy something first." When he explained that I was already ordering, she repeated herself in a dismissive tone and continued making sandwiches without making eye contact once. What stood out most wasn't just the lack of hospitality, but the overall attitude from multiple staff members. The environment felt cold, dismissive, and inconvenienced by customers being there at all. Ironically, the café advertises community classes like yoga and live meditation classes on the window, yet basic customer service and professionalism seem completely absent. The food itself was fine, which is why this review is specifically about the service experience. Even after how poorly we were treated, I still left a tip because I refuse to match that level of disrespect. Management seriously needs to address the customer service culture here. One rude interaction can happen anywhere -- but multiple employees displaying the same behavior reflects a larger issue.

I must say I was hesitant to go here for a few reasons (none of them great, to be honest). First, the name--I didn't get the connection between "arcade" and "coffee" (then again what does that matter). Second, the location: it's in an odd building that doesn't scream typical coffee shop, with restricted and unusual parking. After overcoming these nonsensical, self-created mental barriers, we walked inside and saw that this is a sophisticated operation with wonderful products, employees, and a truly unique experience. When we entered, we saw a very nice menu with pictures showcasing the drinks and highlighting what makes each one special. The barista was super casual and friendly. She asked over the counter if we had any questions and told us to let her know when we were ready. Her welcoming approach was perfect for first-time visitors. We ordered the Mango Sticky Rice matcha and the Cherry Glaze matcha. Both were delicious, and it was clear that quality is a major focus here. The matchas weren't overloaded with syrup like some places; instead, they tasted naturally infused--subtle, balanced, and perfect. For snacks, we tried the salmon bagel and the blueberry scone. Both were excellent. The bagel was fresh and packed with flavor, again showcasing quality ingredients. The scone was one of the best I've had from a coffee shop--it tasted like it came straight from a bakery. The blueberries were large and bursting with flavor, and the texture was ideal: not too hard, not too soft. It was just right. (They should name it "Goldilocks"!) In addition to coffee, matcha, and chai tea, they also offer craft sodas and other choices for any mood. We decided to enjoy our drinks and snacks inside. As we sat, we noticed they have their own bean-roasting machine (totally unique!). I've never seen one in person, but for coffee lovers who enjoy fresh roasts, this means they bring in green coffee beans, roast them on-site, and produce the freshest, highest-quality product possible. (You could say "they have the beans" -- a little Curb Your Enthusiasm reference for fans of the show.) Aside from having "the beans," they also had a projector showing the World Cup. There are plenty of seating options: tables with chairs, standing desks, sofas, and benches. We will definitely be returning to this little slice of heaven on Earth.
