I decided to give Frank's a shot and wow, so glad I did! I booked online which was super simple, and got there early to grab a parking spot since it is downtown off Larimer. Headed inside, was greeted/checked in and was told to wash my hands which I liked. They then asked if I wanted anything to drink and it being my day off, I went the local craft beer route and got a Strawberry Rhubarb Sour Ale by Great Divide (their beer selection is spot on, even got a koozie for the can). I was then told to take a seat in their lounge area dubbed the "man cave" which is the only thing I happened to take pictures of while there. They had all kinds of things available while waiting, from chips, snacks, suckers, even condoms which I thought was a nice touch. I hung out in there for a few minutes before Addison came and introduced herself and took me to her chair. Now back home in Houston, I had the same barber for about 7 years and I have spent some time here in Denver looking for anyone comparable to her- and I think Addison just may be that fit. She was amazing, listened to every detail on what I was looking for with a haircut, and was very personable but also professional. I was so impressed by her work I'll definitely be going back and requesting her as well. Highly recommend her for anyone reading this review! My bar is set pretty high, and she went above and beyond. Facility was very nice and well kept, loved how clean everything was. A couple of pro tips, get there early because of street parking. I went during the day which was fine, but you always need to be prepared going downtown to find a spot unless you are walking/scooting/biking. Coors Field is two blocks away, so I can see parking not even being an option during baseball season. Also Addison told me a lot of people book in the evening and come in for a beer and a cut, then head out on the town afterwards which is not a bad place to be to get the night started!

I've been looking for a good shop for some time now and seen the reviews from other people. Since I was traveling home the next day, I thought I'd give it a shot. Most of the reviews for this place are true. It's clean, professional, definitely customer service oriented, and old school. 5 stars for that guys! Here is where it went south for me. "Walk ins only" so I walked in, and there were a couple guys waiting, not a big deal I had some time. There's a white board where you're supposed to put your name?? Some guys had there name on the board and some didn't. Seemed really confusing to the barber's because they were trying to figure out who was next and who wasn't. Now to the haircut, my hair is medium length on top with a fade so not that complicated. The barber that cut my hair was a younger guy with glasses. He was nice, professional etc. he seemed to be taking his time so I thought this is cool. Unfortunately, after getting back to my hotel and having a go through I realized that the top was uneven in spots and some parts of the fade were a little more choppy for what I'm used to. Was this the worst thing to happen to my hair after a cut? No and my hair WILL grow again, but I did have to go to another place to have it fixed when I got back home. That's the reason for the 2 star. Maybe the barber was having an off day. read more

My partner and I have been searching for a great place to get a haircut ever since moving to Denver almost a year ago.Every place we went failed to understand our instructions and respect our wishes to get a short haircut. Leetsdale Barber shop is welcoming and respectful. Paul and Dave, the men who cut our hair were friendly and treated us as though we had been regulars for years. They didn't protest using razors on our hair because we are women, an experience we have had frequently at salons in town and were familiar with cutting ethnic hair, another plus. I went in there about two months ago with a mass of hair on my head. (Long bushy hair.). I had asked the barber to leave about an inch and a half of hair all over. So this guy starts waving his arms and saying " How do I cut this." Next thing I know he has his electric clippers in hand and makes the first cut right down the middle of my head. When he finished my hair was about one quarter inch long. I've been going there for years with good results until this nut case messed my hair up. I figure they didn't want my business any more so I'm off to someplace else. Be careful if you go there. read more

One of the last few remaining classic barber shops in Denver. Everyone here is a classically trained barber, not some high school dropout who should be working at Super Cuts. The place has a genuine nostalgic feel with all original decor from 50s-60s. All the barbers are incredibly polite and the place is very welcoming to new guys (like myself). Only been there 4 times now but very excited to go back soon for my next cut and beard trim. read more

I go to Leetsdale Barbers for One Reason: Ms. Lisa!! She has been keeping me 'neat & trimmed' for a very long time. Where ever She works I'd my Favorite barber shop. Excellent job on haircuts. $17 as of 7/25/15. Cash only. Located In the Leetsdale shopping Center, just have a sign outside that says barbershop. So if you're looking, look for "barbershop". It's to the left of another hair place. Paul and the guys are friendly and talkative. Would definitely recommend. read more
