After walking for a few hours at the American Century Golf tournament in Lake Tahoe,it was finally time to grab some food and after looking around at most of the vendors, we zeroed in on this food truck called Left Coast Pizza. I chose them,not only because they had a decent line,but also I looked them up on Yelp and they had a very solid rating,so for me it was a no-brainer to choose them. The line moved pretty quickly as they were only selling slices,they were $10.00 a slice for either cheese or pepperoni. They also were offering ranch($2.00) or Hot Honey($3.00)-though if you did a 5-10 second Dave Portnoy impression as you're eating the pizza,they would give you one of these for free-too funny!! Various sodas and water were available as well ($6.50-$6.75). We only waited a minute or two for the pizza and it was served just like I like it-molten hot-super greasy-overly cheesy and lots of pepperoni cups....what more can you ask for? We rawdogged the pizza and went without ranch or dressing-it didn't need it-it tasted wonderful and that slice was scarfed down so fast. In closing, if you are ever at an event or concert and you see Left Coast Pizza out there selling their wares, I fully recommend to dive in and grab a slice or two-I'm sure it will hit the spot. read more

We found this place on Yelp and were surprised to find it in a confusing little strip mall in Dayton. They definitely do a great take out business and it seemed a little small inside, but the owner was so nice and friendly and she sat us at a comfortable little table by the window. We came with some big pizza appetites and started to order three mediums, but the owner suggested we stick to smalls and we are glad we did. The smalls are 12 inches and have 8 pieces each, and we wound up taking home the extra. The pizza was some of the best I've had in a really long time. The crust was cooked perfectly, not too crispy or chewy. You could tell the ingredients were high quality, the cheese and pepperoni. Great pizza joint if you're ever in Dayton. I had it one other time last year and knew since we were nearby and craving pizza that's where we were stopping. My kids would get a good laugh if they knew their mom wanted pepperoni pizza. I give them a hard time for ordering the same thing every single time. My friend and I ordered a large because we were starving and priced fairly. It was a busy Friday evening and there was a bit of wait. Luckily they do offer dine in and had a few tables free. There are only a few in this smaller dining room. The kids working at the counter were friendly and helpful. Our 45 minute wait wasn't as long. We have been going here since they have been opened. A really nice group usually except tonight. Ordered our usual and it came pretty dry almost no sauce. We ordered a pepperoni and sausage and there was almost no sausage on it and very little sauce. Disappointed for sure but we will give them another chance read more

Ordered a family sized chef salad and XL pepperoni pizza for a family of 6. Sooooo good!!! We were all full and happy. The pepperoni has a perfect crisp to the edges and this place doesn't skimp on them either. The salad was booooomb! My mom can't really taste anything but she was able to enjoy the food and pick up on the flavors. I had been meaning to try Left Coast for a while and finally stopped by a couple weeks ago to try their Pizza 'by-the-slice'! No surprise that these are made to order as the place doesn't see a lot of foot traffic to warrant having whole pizzas at the ready to serve from. That's great and it's TOTALLY worth the wait! I ordered two slices and they are large! Just like what you'd find at any corner pizza joint in NYC, the slice fills the plate. I was hooked on the first bite. Crust was great, sauce was plenty and flavorful and the toppings (pepperoni and mushrooms) were off the hook delicious! Did I mention Cheese? Lots of it and melty, stringy! When the owners asked me how it was, I told them "It was a home RUN." and "You have a NEW customer!" Last night, I went and ordered a Large pie and (again), delicious! These, folks know what they're doing and the quality that goes into their products is evident in every bite. While other pizza joints are closer to me, I will drive the extra few miles to enjoy theirs. I have a Meatball sandwich that I bought last night to reheat tonight and I'm sure it's going to be terrific as well. Next up on my culinary discovery will be their toasted Italian Sub.
