When we opened the pizzas at home we remembered they were what I call a Bisquick crust, not even close to authentic. The flavor was ok for me and my wife liked it. The salad looked like it was pulled from a bag, not trimmed with pieces way to big to eat and brown ends. Total turn off. To top it off the total for two 9 dollar glasses of wine, a cheese pizza, a vegi pizza and a bag salad with a 20% tip was just over $100 dollars. Ouch! Especially for ok flavored bisquick crust pizza. We will be back for sit down meals but will definitely not be back for pizza or salad.

We decided to try it out on our last visit to Carson City, and we are so glad we did. As soon as you walk in you can tell this is an elegant place. It has a really nice vibe, classy but not too stuffy. Staff are very welcoming all around. We used to go to Adele's a lot before it closed, and we definitely felt the presence of the place, even before we found out that they have some of the original decor of that famous Carson City institution. We recognized some of the windows and the old bar. You can see the influence on the menu too. Lots of gourmet choices as well as some go-to choices like Sliders and a French Dip. It always reasonably priced The Caesar salad being small was a good size. The lettuce was fresh and crunchy. The Caesar dressing was creamy, thick and was quite tasty. The pizza slice was actually two slices. The sauce was spread well and had a nice tangy taste. The pepperoni was the cup style with a good amount and the jalapeños were well spread out too. The "under carriage", as they say, of the crust was nicely toasted and it had a good crunch to it. The cannoli was a medium size about 4". They have premade cannoli shells. The filling was filled in front of me. The filling was fresh, sweet and creamy. You can taste the ricotta cheese. It was as good as the ones I've had on the east coast. Overall this is a great place. All of the food was excellent, reasonably priced and a with and an old school pizza parlor vibe to it. I will definitely come back and try other things on their menu.
