Although they broke the mold when they made lefty's, they might not have realized that their business model is directly indicative to their clientele. See, the mold was the mold for a reason. Really nice atmosphere plus good beer selection. I was attended promptly by the bartender every time I went up. I was here watching the Spurs game and it was a good place to watch it. TVS everywhere plus a big screen. I don't think there is a bad spot to see any TV. There's even a nice little outdoor patio with TVS. I've seen packed places and it doesn't get very packed. I rated it four stars because parking sucks here. The place was jam packed with cars and few people inside. I don't know if they are working on expanding the parking lot but man the parking really sucks. That's why I think it wasn't that packed due to the parking situation. None the less awesome bar to chill and watch the game and have some brews. It seemed reasonably priced as well. read more

One of my employees told me about this place. A little bit of a drive from my apt, but it is worth the extra drive. The bartenders make you feel at home and are quick with the drinks. Tables every where but your expected to go to the bar to get your drink. 3 bartenders behind the bar, one went out to vape, the other couldn't take his eyes off his phone and the third stayed behind the bar. I was here for Sunday football and the girl working during the day was great. Unfortunately, the guy who came in later was an asshole. I don't know his name, but he had long hair that was up in a bun. While I was waiting to order drinks from the girl, instead of greeting me and asking if I needed anything, he asked if I "wanted to fight" him in the rudest tone imaginable. He continued to be offensive, and the whole group I was with decided to leave because of him. I can't imagine why a bar would employ someone who is extremely rude to women, when you should want more women in a bar. I won't be going back anytime soon read more

Watered down drinks. I used to be a bartender, I like trying new places to see their techniques. Bartenders are rude. Alcohol is noticeably watered down. If you think your mixed drink is good .... It's because there is no alcohol in it. Go somewhere else or buy your own bottle for less. Weird people weird environment read more

Unfortunately, this place is not the same as it used to be when Mike was here. Went in and sadly there was only 1 bartender behind the bar, Conrad, who was doing his best to keep up with everuone asking for drinks. The new staff are not friendly and gossip worse than women (the 2 that are by the door)I literally spoke to 3-4 different people who were new to Leftys and were disappointed at how long it took to get a drink. The bat back guy would just stand there as if there wasn't anything to do kind you it was game night for the Spurs so there was plenty to do with hiw many people were there. This place was awesome and the place to be when it was Mark, Mike, Conrad and Nicole behind the bar especially on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. At least they had live bands but now it has really gone down with the lack of HARD WORKING AND COMPETENT STAFF who actually kept this place up and took care of their customers. I felt so bad for Conrad on Thursday cuz he had alot of work but commend him for being a good sport and taking care of everyone being alone. GET THE STAFF BACK IN HERE or you're seriously gonna lose potential new customers and us usuals that have seen this place do awesome things to the mess you have now. read more

The bartenders skimp on your mixed drinks....ordered a long island...got nothing but mix and no alcohol....returned drink to the bartender and he(tall white guy) refused to extend any concern to address the issue and gave total attitude. My friend was jumped at leftys, he never threw a punch back at the guy hitting him. Not only did they all get kicked out, which I totally understand, but I was kicked out after my friend was gone because I was "part" of it. The bartender took my beer WHILE I was drinking it, and felt the need to physically force me outside.
