Made an appointment two weeks before my trip. Very easy to book through booksy. The barbershop was immaculate, got there early so I was able to take in all the unique decorations. Had to park a block away from the shop because of construction, but I left early and it was free. As far as the haircut, Mrs. Amanda was very easy to work with and she absolutely knocked it outta the ballpark! This place is amazing and will deliver if you're used to old school barbershops. I am a huge fan of Collin, and the staff at Legacy Barber Shop. The high quality service and professionalism is unrivaled, & the are all very friendly and welcoming. They really make sure your cut is as fresh as can be, and they are truly dedicated to their craft. The interior design and decorations are pretty awesome as well, and definitely contribute to that barbershop feel. The vintage Oster Lather machine was one of the neatest pieces of history that I've seen in a while. I went 3 months without a haircut and I couldn't be more pleased with the results! Hands down LEGACY is the BEST barber shop on island and it's not even close!!! The actual shop, the decor, the chairs (restored originals), the historical artifacts, the music, the ac (other places take notes), the cleanliness and the overall ambiance is unmatched. Then you got Kayla and Colin. They're super professional, polite, engaged, hilarious, real and unbelievably TALENTED!!! I used to fly home to Oahu just to get a trim, but since meeting Kayla and Colin that has changed. They're the real deal. The gap between them and every other shop on island is substantial. I get my haircut every other week and really struggled finding a reliable barber when I moved to Maui a few months ago! Kayla and Collin have been a damn godsend since I found them though! Fantastic barbers and some of the nicest people you'll meet. I'm fairly OCD (hence the haircuts every other week) so I love how meticulous they are... pretty sure they both are OCD as well lol.
