Turkey plate, served with small sweet potato, coleslaw, and (not pictured) cornbread muffin. Their meats are so tasty!!!

I wanted to wait until we'd eaten here several times before reviewing. Easily the best BBQ north of the river- we're so lucky to have Legacy in the area. Their smoked meats are 5/5! You gotta try the burnt ends for sure (they sell out fast!) We've tried every meat except the ribs, sausage, and catfish. I'm a huuuge fan of their chipotle BBQ sauce. And you won't find better service behind a counter. Very friendly and eager to share their passion for good food. Would rate the sides 4/5, but some of them are really decent. You can't go wrong with the smoked mac n cheese, fried okra, or apple pie egg rolls. Stop in! You can even order online =)

It's very hard to find good BBQ places it seems like. Authentic bbq meat was definitely here. The food was good, when I cook I'm heavy on my seasonings so i would prefer more but even then I ate all my food. She was very nice, friendly and helpful to us. It was a very nice small place to sit and chow down on some meats. The catfish was amazing!! and I don't eat fish. Cooked to perfection.

There are NOT a lot of BBQ restaurants in this area that I like. In fact, some of the bbq restaurants on here that have 4+ ratings SHOCK me. As the eaters have obviously NOT had good BBQ! Legacy is DEFINITELY NOT one of those! It's new, It's clean and most importantly, it serves very good BBQ!!! I had the following: Brisket-Delicious, Very tender with a light smoke taste. Turkey-Delicious, Juicy and also with a nice light smoke taste Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage-AWESOME! Juicy, tasty and great snap from the casing. Onion Rings- Cooked perfectly, delicious and will definitely be on my order next time! Smoked Mac & Cheese-Very cheesy/creamy and tasty. Didn't get too much smoked taste. Corn Muffin-Just the way I like it! Served cupcake style and was moist, flavorful and a perfect accompaniment. Service, well that's easy-completely like going over a friends house!!! The owner Bill is front and center and just comes across as someone who you've known for years. EVERYONE in the place was friendly and hospitable! So glad we have a decent BBQ place in the area and I encourage you all to try them out!!

Ribs were terrible, dry, no flavor. The Mac and cheese was bland. The potato salad was pretty good.

Not a fan, very fatty and greasy ribs and pulled pork. Cornbread was super dry and hard. Won't be going back.

Food was only fair.... Turkey was very dry. Ribs were very fatty. I'll stick with Alday's where I'm never disappointed.

Food was amazing and reminded me of Hutchins back in Frisco TX. Portions were plentiful. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

We ordered the fried green tomatoes, fried chicken, a vegetable medley that included collards, black eye peas, Gabon beans, and boiled peanuts, and corn bread, which was delicious. However, the crab cakes were nothing but fried, seasoned bread and a half baked mac and cheese where the cheese was not even melted! I think what took the cake, was the waitress who was obviously having a bad day. We overheard a customer asking how much the cornbread, and she told him, "free because you don't like it!" Oh and when we tried to pay for the food, their credit machine could not read our numbers, so we had to give them three different cards and then received no receipt!! The ambiance reminded me of being at one of my friend's row houses in DC back in the day, so use your imagination. I think this is a place a lot of locals hang out and get better service. For first timers, good luck in getting a waitstaff with a better attitude.

When I entered I was immediately greeted and told I could sit anywhere I'd like. I sat at a booth and the waitress brought a menu and a wooden pig with all the available sides. Ordered the smoked turkey size large with collard greens and baby potatoes. The turkey was amazing - I could have eaten it without sauces but I tried both of their homemade barbecue sauces and they're both good...one tangy and the other one a little spicy. Waitress checked in a couple times, I cleaned the plate and was out the door. Great barbecue - can't wait to try some more.

Just a short drive from his home, it's apparently one of his go to spots. It's a small space, with limited seating, and when we arrived, I got a good laugh at the (2) goats in the a pen in the parking lot bundled up for the cold weather. There was a bit of a wait inside, but as tabled cleared, they re-sat new parties quickly. The menu had a good variety of options, their sides were listed on a seperate "menu", made with removable velcro items, so when they run out, they can remove it form the list. I went with the combo plate, getting baby back ribs with pull pork, and potato salad and mac and cheese as my sides. The food came out quickly, and the the portion sizes were pretty good. In addition to my food, it also came with a few huge corn fritters, which were tasty and super moist. The ribs and pulls pork were very tasty the mac and cheese was ok, but no better than what you'd get from the blue box, but the potato salad was a bit more authentic. Service was friendly, good portions and fair pricing. I'd visit again !

This creative twist on eggs Benedict is pure Southern comfort food heaven. It starts with two fluffy, perfectly split biscuit halves as the base (way better than the usual English muffin for this vibe), topped with crispy, hand-breaded chicken tenders that are golden, juicy, and seasoned just right. Then come two impeccably poached eggs with those runny yolks that ooze out beautifully when you cut in. The whole thing gets smothered in rich, creamy country sausage gravy that's loaded with flavorful sausage bits and has that perfect peppery kick without being overwhelming. Every bite is an explosion of textures and flavors: the buttery biscuit, the crunchy-yet-tender fried chicken, the silky eggs, and that savory gravy tying it all together. It's indulgent, hearty, and ridiculously satisfying--exactly what you want when you're craving something over-the-top for breakfast or brunch. Served with their hashbrown casserole (which was cheesy, crispy-edged perfection) on the side, I left stuffed, happy, and already planning my next visit. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, service was friendly and quick, and the portions are generous without feeling excessive. If you're anywhere near a Toasted Yolk location, do yourself a favor and order the Southern Fried Arnold. It's not just breakfast--it's a mood-lifting masterpiece. 10/10, will crave forever!
