3.5 Stars....The good and the bad. I'll start with the good. I recently purchased a new truck from Legacy Ford, and I was very pleased with the staff. My saleswoman, Ashley, was very nice and professional. Everyone was very professional, and honestly this was the fastest I have ever been in and out of a dealership. So, after buying the truck, I get it home, and realize that there is a crack in the rear taillight. Well, Legacy fixed it, no issues, and the service department was very quick about it. Overall, the buying experience was spot on! Now, the bad..... So, the bad seems to be a common problem that several have had--regarding trade-in payoff. Now, I've purchased many vehicles, and have never known a dealership to take longer than 7-10 days to pay off a trade--so, I was little surprised when Legacy told me "30 days". I assumed they were giving me a "worst case" scenario.... Well, they weren't. When they say 30 days--they mean it, and maybe then some. Bottom line is this, if you're trading in a vehicle that has a current payment--be prepared to continue to pay on that vehicle, and the new one, for at least the next month (maybe longer according to some other reviews). This is not only frustrating, but can be financially straining, so it's something to keep in mind. read more

I backed into a tree with my F150. Lost a rear light,really messed up the tailgate and the bumper was a goner. I took it to Legacy because I didn't want aftermarket parts the truck is only a little over 3 years old and besides the tree incident only had a few scratches. It did take alittle longer that expected but well worth it!. It is like new. Not only was all the 'tree' damage repaired but the little scratches. It is Beautiful! They worked with my insurance so there was no hassle on my part. The wonderful surprise was getting in it to go home I found the interior detailed. It really felt like a new truck again. I scheduled a test drive specifically for the Mach-E. When I arrived to Legacy Ford, I was greeted by a female sales representative and told that the vehicle is not available for test drive, only to order. When I was on the website, there was a specific button that said "Schedule A Test Drive", which I selected. I then spoke with Teresa and scheduled to test drive the Mach-E for today, August 27th at 2pm. I drove an hour to get here and the representative is saying the vehicle is only available to order, not test drive, which the website says the opposite. The sales rep proceeds to ask me what color I was looking to purchase in and if there's anything else I wanted to look at. NO. I'm not buying any car without test driving, which I specifically came here to do. This is incredibly unprofessional and frustrating. read more

We took our F250 in for a replacement fuel regulator. Instead of replacing it they supposedly replaced the fuel filters! Then they reset the check engine light off. When we drove the truck and the light came back on! Now we find out that the regulator needs replacing like we already kne. What adds insults to injury we even brought the part from another Ford company and dropped it off with the truck. I took the time out to send several emails to the owner and he refused to respond to any of my calls or email! This is just a bad look for Black owned businesses!! read more

As someone who usually does not listen to reviews from angry Karen's online. Please consider this one. Please do not due any business with this dealership, here's why. I was trying to apply for an auto loan through the dealership and was told I did not get approved by any banks from the finance advisor, but that I was approved by some bank in never heard of and was told that I would be approved if I agreed over the phone to put an additional $7,000 on down payment MORE than what was already agreed upon. You either get approved for loans and given a set APR% and length of loan or you do not get approved. It's that simple. So I knew something was up, when I asked both Derant the sales person, and a women from their finance department to provide proof from said lender I've never heard of that I would be approved under this *condition* it started a 15 minute long banter like I was back in high school all over again. Such a shame because I was very interested in the car I test drove but what they don't understand is the cars they sell can be bought all over the nation and even online, so by making fools of themselves and losing business they only hurt themselves. In total, the entirety of the staff I was in contact with was incredibly unprofessional, did not care about my concerns and *attempted* to pressure me into a different deal last second over the phone which is where I draw the line. I would need a whole day of typing to explain how they tried to explain to me new brakes and rotors squeak every time I touch the brakes. The never return my calls. I could not be any happier with the service I received from Legacy Ford. Headed south with the family, towing a boat, for a gulf coast vacation when the 2016 F150 started sputtering and losing power. I went in on June 22 for an oil change. They suggested a coolant flush which I also did for my 2014 Ford Escape. Within 24 hours of oil change, all the oil had leaked out of my vehicle. I had to pull over on the side of the highway. I called them the next day and they sent a tech out to my truck. He poured oil in and it came straight out. He stated there was a leak. Immediately they tried to say it wasn't their fault. They said I needed to tow it back to the dealership and that I had to pay for that. They had my truck for a week, then after numerous calls, they said that I needed a new engine and that I would have to pay for that as well. It is now August 5th and I am still without my truck. It has been sitting there for the last 6 weeks not worked on. When I call the manager Rick, he ducks my calls. He doesn't return them or messages. When I called today he told me they were were working on it now. I drove by and I could see from the highway that it was still sitting in the same spot. When I ask for someone above the quick lane manager, I either get his voicemail or they just tell me that he is out of town.. I have tried to talk to corporate offices and customer service for ford and no one has helped. I feel helpless, and taken advantage of. read more

This dealership had a great price I drove almost 3 hours for my 2017 fusion sport.love the car. 23 days after the purchase my new car is great, however I wouldn't EVER BUY HERE AGAIN! they could not find my key fob, it took 20 days, 20 phone calls and 2 hours at the local dealer to get one 23 days later the car I traded in IS NOT PAID OFF!!! I just got screwed out of a $485 payment, $85 late fees and multiple phone calls 23 days later my local registrars office DOES NOT HAVE PAPERWORK to register my car! I wish I read these reviews before taking my vehicle to get a simple signal light changed. This was my worst Ford Dealership experience ever, and I only went in for a light bulb change. The service department is unprofessional, deceptive & greedy. The service department broke my rear light casing on my 2007 on Lincoln Navigator while changing my rear signal lights on 6/21/2023, then they had the audacity to put clear tape on it to hold it in place. The female Service agent says it was rusted the reason for it breaking and proceeds to provide me with a price of $300 per light if I want to get it repaired. Totally unacceptable, I brought my vehicle in without any damages to the area of service and had to depart with tape on my vehicle. When I asked for the GM she said he is out of the country, I asked who was in charge and empowered to make decisions to assist the CUSTOMER, she said Justin, but he is out until Tuesday. I will be calling Justin on Tuesday to see how they're going to rectify this situation because the damages to my vehicle falls in them. They should have never proceeded with service if they couldn't remove the light casing to change the bulb, they made this decision on their own to do so. read more

Ordered parts. They made me pay for them before they ordered them. I paid Cash. When the parts came and they were the wrong parts. Was told I would receive a check in the mail at their convenience! Will never deal with this company again. Couldn't Refund me 55$. Why make me pay if you won't refund me on the spot for your mistake. The staff was helpful and nice. I dropped my truck off with two people in front of me on a Saturday morning around 8am for an oil change and an alignment, and I went to pick it up around 3:30, and it still wasn't finished. Had to wait another 30 minutes to get it, and they didn't even do the alignment I asked for. What kind of place is this? 6/15 I went into the Quick Lane after Making an appointment on the company website a week ago. Upon arrival I was told that there was a 2 hour wait, I asked even with an appointment, sorry sir we don't do appointments. I asked to speak with a manager, and of course he wasn't available. I spoke with a JD which I was told he was a supervisor, his attitude was really bad. I was told that the website shouldn't have scheduled an appointment, and that's my fault how. So I took my car in 2/14 the guy I talked to told me Monday it should be done. I called yesterday just to get an update because he said they had to see if the problem pertained to the recall. The front desk lady said she left my number with the man I worked with Friday, he never called me back. Today I call and front desk sends me to what I think is service. Whoever answered the phone says "this is fleet" I said "oh I told her service" he says "I don't care what you said this is fleet" and sent me back to front desk she sends my call back same guy answers and I said "is this service?" He hangs up!! I guess people in service don't care about recalls because we don't have to pay. MAYBE FORD SHOULD MAKE BETTER CARS. My Ford Focus will be the first and LAST FORD ILL EVER HAVE. They tried to charge me $1600 for some parts that I did not need for my convertible top... then they was going to send my car off for someone else to fix it, after they pick it up for $75. I paid $70 just for them to give me wrong information and got someone else to fix it for $400 including parts, in an hour. Legacy Ford cares about profit, not customers! read more

I've always received great service here. I can't speak on the car buying process but the insurance girls, service department, and quick lane have provided me with excellent customer service. I do not have a Ford or Hyundai, but the team here was able to service my car quickly. Before I can enter the door, I'm greeted by someone who asks if I need something or someone, which is always a great feeling. I drive here because I know the owners family and the service is worth the drive. I trust Nuke (owner's son) and everyone else at Legacy to take care of all my car needs and would definitely recommend them. read more

My husband and I traded in both of our vehicles back in August to Legacy Ford here in McDonough. We bought two cars from them. Earlier this month I get a bill in the mail for my pathfinder I traded in. They made a September payment on it and now October payment was due. It was bizarre, why a payment they were suppose to pay it off? We also dig and find out my husbands truck is not paid off either. I contacted the dealership through my sales gal who sold us our cars and she let me know they were looking into it. And shortly after I was told they would take care of it. The excuses were two different stories from two different managers. Emanuel Jones II and Travis Render. One- checks were stolen in the mail and two- someone hacked into their accounts and stole money. But not once did they notify us of these issues I had to find out when I receive a bill. This dealership and the Hyundai dealership are both owned by Senator Emanuel Jones and his son is running both of them. I have put the word out and have discovered I am not the only one they have done this too. My credit is in jeopardy because of this. I went by the dealership today and my husbands truck is not there and Emanuel told me he didn't know where my husbands truck was.well Legacy doesn't own it because they haven't paid it off so how did they sell it?? and my pathfinder I traded in was being test driven. Now how can they sell vehicles they don't even own!??? I have a recordings from my meeting with Emanuel Jones I have screen shots from their Facebook page- they deleted everyone's comments and ratings but I made screen shots before they were deleted. They marked my post as spam. - I have tons of proof. Pictures and My paperwork as well from when I traded the cars In along with the bill I received in the mail. I have received three collection calls TODAY for the pathfinder they have people test driving!! You cannot sell vehicles that you haven't paid off Emanuel and Travis!! Hello HUGE FRAUD! Wow- just encountered the stereotypical car dealer experience at Legacy Ford. After researching my options online I popped in to test drive a Ford Escape and discuss leasing options. I'm a serious buyer and definitely making a decision in a new car in the coming days/week. I've done my homework online and communicated that but was treated like an idiot. I clearly communicated what I want. Lease, term, down payment.... And kept getting the run around and ambiguous answers. Couldn't even give ranges or ballpark and even told me "no one lease anymore. Why would you want to lease?" As they pushed to buy/finance. I'm like.... Newsflash- it's 2016 and buyers have so much buying power and knowledge at their fingers tips with Internet. I already knew basically what I want and frankly can negotiate over email vs coming in.... So, when a customer comes in to store and says upfront that they've done their homework and lay out exactly what they want, I would advise not to sell them on why they shouldn't get what they want.... Rather, get to the point and provide some quick and realistic options based in their needs.....sheesh. Super frustrating! Definitely going back to email communication only... Service Dept is a joke! I took my '06 Fusion in because it was stalling out randomly. They diagnosed it as needing a instrument cluster, I paid over $800 and went on my way. Car made it three miles and stalled so I had it towed back. Rinse and repeat incorrect diagnosis and me getting back a still stalling car FOUR MORE TIMES. After months of Legacy Ford having my car I got a call saying my car was "haunted" and they can't figure out what is wrong with it. They wanted me to use it as a trade in on a new ford from their dealership - YEAH RIGHT, MY FUSION ONLY HAS 80,000 miles on it, LIKE I WILL EVER BUY A FORD AGAIN!!!! After a few more weeks they made up some malarky about it being a part they no longer manufacture and therefore my car is rendered unfixable - ON A 12 YEAR OLD CAR. At first they only offered a partial refund on the repair but I refused because they had fixed nothing. So after a full reimbursement of the repair, they sent me out the door with a stalling car. The worst part is that my car had just passed emission before I gave it to them (it had no lights or codes) but they gave the car back so poorly put together after all their testing that there were multiple codes and lights going off so now I cant get it to pass emissions & therefore can't even sell the thing. Offered them MORE than what they had indicated as the cost online after they readily admitted that they did not put the true price online and that I had to read the fine print at the bottom of the webpage. Then, after I offered them more than their online price, I expected haggling. They came back with a counteroffer MORE than the MSRP. These people are shady, unprofessional, and deceptive. Avoid, avoid, avoid. One positive note was that I had a newer salesman who was super nice and leveled with me that their practices are shady. I was looking at a used car they had advertised for my son, and was assigned Cory as a salesperson. He was a bit aggresssive, (being true to the auto salesman creed), immediately began trying to push me into a new car instead. The car had been taken to the shop because of a oil leak they found, (after having the car a week). While I was looking it over, I found several damaged areas on the car. Cory asked if I had intended on trying to negotiate a lower price because of the damage and I said yes. Isn't that what buying a car is about??? Negotiating for a better price??? WELL, Cory told me that I could just go ahead and leave because he wasn't going to lower the price one penny. Soooo...I left. What a jerk! If I could give them a zero I would. The quick lane and "Billy" are crooks in every sense of the word. They claim I needed brake pads. Put them on and a few days later the car started making noises every time I stopped. I called and was told it was "normal". Another week went by and I took it back to them and they claimed of all things the "transmission". What?? I guess he saw a black woman and thought he would take full advantage. End up I had to take it to the service department and have what they claim was to replace the rotors!!! These racists good ole boys are not to be trusted period. NEVER again!!! They also refused to give me a receipt on the work to stop my car from making noises every time I stop. Mind you when I originally brought it there the brakes weren't even squeaking .. a bunch of evil jackasses..I could have been KILLED or killed others with no brakes. I purchased a mustang last month and the new manager and staff treated me like family! I paid MUCH LESS than I expected and the down payment was low. What impressed me the most was the $$$ I got for my trade in. I was really impressed at how easy they made my car buying experience. Their customer service was genuine too. They worked with integrity and did not oversell me on anything. No scams. I used to work in the car industry and know when others have been taken advantage of. I was at Legacy Hyundai Car Leadership in McDonough Ga, on 9/30/16. I was promised a price for a vehicle by the salesperson, but when it came time to sign papers, the price was $5k more than agreed. When I questioned the additional $5k, I was double talked by the 2 salesmen that had attended to me, the manager, and someone who said was the regional manager.
